This is the 3rd such interview (others were with Salve and Sorabjee). Just noticed this one had only some 2500 hits. I think this is absolutely brilliant. Am no lawyer, but the interview questions are interesting and the people being interviewed (at least the 3 I saw) are just fascinating. Here is to hoping many more follow this channel. The lessons are not just in law.
Agree with Indu Malhotra. Pass it on. For India to progress, good lawyers should train more and more young lawyers. Lawyers must be jndependent and not be influenced by politicians.

Your judgement in sec 377 shows how open your mind is and how great your thoughts are and at the same time your judgement in sabarimala shows your respect towards religion and beliefs of other people
🙏 Regards and salute to Hon'ble Indu Malhotra Mam. P.S....A guy sitting in Central amongst Interview-Team should first learn basic modest lesson of mannerisms viz.how to address senior , address learned person like Indu Malhotra Mam !!!

Sister you need to understand that one judge decides the fate of 1.25 Lakh cases. There are very less good lawyers in india ,and the problem gets bigger as we have less competent peoples whom sc can appoint as judge. This is reason. There is a procesd of trial which need to followed and process should be fairly done. In speedy judgements ,there is possibility of maximum errors in judgements .There are many female successful lawyers . Lawyers doesn't mean only Criminal lawyer or civil lawyer.A lawyer can be from field of corporate, international law, forensic, tax etc. For example karuna nandy is a constitutional lawyer. So madam actually our media is also responsible for it as they let you know only about mere superstars, you will find very little regarding law as they wont get that trp . I hope now you got it
People must pay attention to scientific studies... a basic qualification (say degree at least) only makes sense in this day and time. Just doing history (such a waste) english literature or journalism or law without knowing a whit about biology chemistry physics mathematics is a waste of life in these times of superficial study, rote learning and focusing on very weakly structured english literature. Wish young people do a solid study first of the life related or technology subjects and then do law etc - those studies are bound to help butress their understanding of legally knotty cases and their arguments.
So humble, simple. Truly deserved to be Justice of Supreme Court
