Sir, with due respect to you, you have been so honest and forth right. You May be old in age but young in spirit. My pranams to you.
Ex ECr Q. was good.and you showed how powerful Election Commission is! But Sri Narasimaha Rao Ex PM clipped TN Seshans wings by appointment of 2 more additional commissioners hence it was dumped once and for all. Sir why not 3 Presidents, 3 PMs, 3CJs and so forth. I think time has come to have 3 Editor in chiefs, 3 moderators to interview etc etc etc.
Moderator and the students from Amety who asked the Q. were silly and biased.
How ever you wetted their belly! and at the same time told the truth.
No wonder nothing should be banned, So why not a person who has got the mandate?.
In democracy everything should be fair. Who knows UP CM may look silly to you but who knows, he can do wonders also!. Yours and mine is a guess, but let us hope for the best!!

From where I am in the UK, I am fearful of what is happening in India, and find the appointment of the CM of UP an open advocate of converting India to a Hindu State very alarming. Mr. Nariman has openly said the reasons why he is fearful of what is going on. I very much hope that sense will prevail and the fear that the Muslim community has will be laid to rest.

What an wonderful way to appreciate emergency as an inoculation for survival of democracy now. The way Indian Constitution has emasculated the people of India unlike what other democracies have achieved in terms of empowerment of people. As per your saying this constitution was framed by 85% persons who were devote Hindus and yet they brought Articles 26 to 30 for denying the education of anything from Hindu scriptures in the schools, why? While others as minorities can, why? The Article 35A which has been smuggled in the Constitution to harm and destroy Article 15 in the J&K state.

The Governors should be above politics and should be a learned person commanding respect.
Our culture is based on Truth and Dharma. This should be reflected in law and living.

No doubt he is an eminent person, with great knowledge. But here he blaming something which he is not supporting by crude facts, when facts are given to him which clearly are against his blames/ apprehensions then answers are 1) ignoring it with joke
    2) you people decide ( playing victim card that we parsi, Muslim are no where)
    3) quoting others that he (swamy) is saying this.
So, in my opinion if u are blaming something like this, if u are comparing the time of emergency with present ( no emergency) , and
If u are somebody like Fali S. Nariman having that tall judicial stature then ur apprehensions must be followed by clear reasoning.
Moreover, when ""nothing should be banned"" , very sorry to say sir, our constitution part 3 Fundamental rights itself come with several reasonable restrictions with them . So it's not easy to sallow down your thinking.
U are the champion of fundamental rights, but for u holding chair of CM by yogi being head of religious institution is sign of something evil ( someone was saying NOTHING should be banned) .
Though u are one of the torchbearer of fundamental rights in Indian jurisprudence. But sir u should not miss that, this is universal too and yogi is no different.

      @patriotparsi3813 6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

Dear Harish, I cannot blame you for your unsavoury comments , since you are ignoramus in case of matters pertaining to Zoroastrianism. In Zoroastrianism, like hinduism a son of a priest is taught scriptures and they have to appear before a body of priests and they are given a honorific title called Ervad. There are two type of priests some who are practising priest and some who are working in other professions and give part time services during muktad days (equivalent to Shraddha days in Hinduism). The latter ones or the former have not denounced the world unlike Yogi Adityanath. When one calls himself a yogi, it is presumed that he is an ordained sanyasi. That he has undergone a ceremony under the tutelage of his guru, who has given him diksha or say put him upon the path of sanyas which if he strictly follows may lead him to the path of moksha. Therefore, coming to the point, if he is indeed a true sanyasi having undergone the essential rituals, then that act leads to his civil death in legal parlance, a fact which has been uphold by various judgments right from the times of the therein Privy Council to present time our apex court I.e. Supreme Court. In effect due to the fact that in the eyes of a law the person has suffered from a legal debility called civil death, in effect they cannot hold property in their name, and they cannot even stand for elections in my humble opinion, a fact which has been duly ignored by many legal experts and conveniently by the Election Commissioner. So coming to the point, there is a difference between the status of the doyen whom you have out of ignorance and zeal, and the yogi in question. If yogiji has not undergone those rituals then he should refrain from calling himself a yogi, a honorific term attached to a person who has given up sansarik jeevan. Rest, I believe your goodself is intelligent enough to understand my view point. By the way my view points should not be construed that I possess hatred towards yogi or hinduism or against bjp. We Indians should strive to achieve unity. Hatred for one another will not let us anywhere. We have higher goals to achieve. Our great constitution under its directive principles exhorts us to remain as brothers and sisters and participate in nation building. What we are witnessing in present times is fascism, which if not controlled will bring harm to our beloved country.

With due respect, Sir, you seem to have forgotten why your ancestors landed in this very country that you are talking about.
And absolute shame on you, for building a religious narrative.
