That's probably because plenty of scenes like The Rock vehemently pleading his innocence (what if he'd convinced her? Going to jail: kind of integral to their plan) or Gal Gadot intercepting the call to refute his identity actively played AGAINST the twist. You don't get points for a twist when you set it up poorly.
If it makes you feel any better, I had all but lost interest in the plot by that point, so I didn’t see it coming either. But when it hit, my eyes rolled pretty hard.

It should be shown not told. I hate it how a character has to explain their whole life to a person who knows these things already. Like it’s awful when they say “listen Brad, I know we have been partners for 5 years and that you don’t like this job and that you had a hard life and everything else about your life ive known but have to explain it today bc idk why” lol.

On the one hand, yeah, the set up for the twist might have been a bit heavy handed (although honestly I don't think it was too bad, most of those things you showed did have a different meaning within context), it's infinitely better than throwing in a twist that hasn't been set up at all and makes no sense just for shock value, like a lot of movies these days
People forget that you're supposed to have foreshadowing. I'm not going to penalize Red Notice for it being a little heavy. It was a fun movie to watch, which is all I asked for.
Time for a Deadpool 3. Just to get it out of his system again. Cause right after Deadpool 2 he made detective Pikachu. The best videogame movie ever. It's a low bar but it had a decent leap over Mortal kombat (original).

It's a fine movie, it's exactly the thing you expect from it: 2 hours of the Rock, Deadpool and Gal Gadot doing typical Rock-, Reynolds- and Gal-type stuff. Nothing more, nothing less.
This is so on point. We watched this on Christmas, and my niece leans over and says "I feel like maybe I've seen this before." I replied, "You have, just with different people."

I’ll be honest despite what people say I really enjoyed and loved this movie, and even though I probably should’ve I actually didn’t see the “plot twist” at the end coming, honestly like I said I think I was too busy enjoying myself while watching a movie, and I will also be honest in the fact that I have been told that when it comes to movies I am pretty easily pleased. Don’t get me wrong however I know all the flaws the movie has and I’ll probably just watch it every once in a while when I’m bored and have nothing else to do.
I didn’t guess the plot twists either. I just assumed nothing would make sense and didn’t really try to follow the logic. I definitely will never watch it again, but it was fine.

I will admit they got me with the twist. Layed nice clues, each could be interpretted another way and did explain plot holes with the heist that I'd noticed before. Solid, not that shocking, twist. However it completely ruined any kind of relationship Renolds' and Johnson's characters were builiding which was the only thing I really liked about the film. Though I am actually looking forward to that sequal because now they've set it up for that kind of relationship bromance thing to blossom.

Of all the hints that should've given away the twist for me, the one where the rock was shooting at interpol and his excuse was, "they shot at me first".
I enjoyed it. I liked the small references, bad jokes, the bad-bad guy and even the twist. Easy digested action/adventure/comedy for when you just want to chill :)

I like it. I was an enjoyable movie altogether. Even if I knew about the twist ending I didn't expect Ed Sheeran to be there. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

This film exists in that point where anyone who critiques films for a living will hate it for how generic it is but those who don't will just love it for being able to turn their brains off and just enjoy it.
You don't need to critique film for a living to not see how this film does everything in it's power to be accessible to everyone in the most transparent ways. You can like it, but come on man, don't sell even the common person that short.
To answer that question, when Ant-man shrinks, everything on his person shrinks to scale. This includes the bacteria in his stomach to the oxygen in the tanks inside his helmet.
Regardless, it doesn't make sense. The movie's logic says pym particles work by shrinking the empty space in atoms (which also doesn't work, but let's just pretend it does). If that's the case, how could they go subatomic? Did they shrink the atoms so much that they collapsed on themselves? If so, it would cause a nuclear explosion.

I made sure to go onto Netflix's site to disable that autoplay function, much like I do for EVERY APP & WEBSITE THAT DOES IT! I especially HATE when apps do that autoplay crap because on MANY apps it can ruin your recommendations! I make sure to disable it on my computer too since online videos drag down my web browser's performance!

After you turn it off on their website, it SHOULD stop autoplaying videos on all your devices. I had to consult an online help article to find out how to do that since I'm no techie.
Come on, you could have mentioned the Community episode on Conspiracy Theories. This whole movie's plot was essentially that. "Do you understand what a conspiracy is? When you conspire with everyone you come across, you're not really conspiring with anyone. You're just doing random crap."
I'll give the film credit for two things: 1. "Soto vocce" literally means to speak quietly, so it was true to character. 2. The use of drones made for some interesting action shots during chases.
I gotta be honest, I really thought this movie was gonna have me rolling on the floor in a laughing fit, but I haven’t even finished it, I’m still only like 27 min in. I freaking love all 3 of these actors, but you really need more than that to have a successful movie man.

Indiana Jones x Ocean's 11 x Fast & Furious WW2.... with a 007 seasoning, hot actors, amazing sets and a double-twist with a switcheroo.. 9.5/ 10 action comedy
That's the story of his career, and he's not the first actor that this is true about. Vince Vaughn was vanishing off the planet until he and studios realized he should just play himself. Not everyone loves it, but the snark of Reynolds is incredibly charming for many and if it ain't broke don't fix it.
One night while laying in bed I just couldn't sleep. Picked up the iPad and watched this. It was exactly the kind of movie to watch in that situation and served it's purpose well.
I haven't seen the movie yet but based on the trailers, my impression of the film is they practically recycled The Hitman's Bodyguard and Hobbs & Shaw and remade it into one movie.

Everyone in my office was hyping it out and I was bored before the halfway point. There's little to no chemistry whatsoever. Even if there is it felt forced. So...no. Except for the prison break scene. I have to admit was kind of cool the way the clues were sprinkled.
I’d recommend Last Night in Soho, Green Knight, and The Last Duel. Red Notice is visual fast food, a smooshed ketchup hamburger and the movies I recommend are Steak and Lobster yes they take time and effort to enjoy.
Spoiler alert. Come on Screen Junkies, this is the best opportunity to do a Netflix Daredevil honest trailer. Both Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio have returned!
sometimes I wanna watch dumb fun, where I can take my brain out of my head and put it to sleep and do something by myself . This movie lets me do that.
OK, so I'm loving the 'Plunder Woman' and 'second-most ill-advised singing' quotes but my real takeaway from all this is that I need to start a drinks business and sell it to Diageo ASAP.
That moment when you actually enjoyed a movie a lot then came online to see almost everyone hating it. Yep, that's me right now. I laughed at the jokes, I was impressed with the action scenes and I didn't see that Dwayne Johnson plot twist coming. Am I just a dumbass or I have really bad taste? I feel so dumb right now
The Honest Trailer funnier than the movie it's about. Though to be fair I did chuckle a couple of times in the movie. Also Ant-Man needs the respirator on his suit when he's small or big for that very reason, incompatible oxygen sizes and capacity to extract it from the air per his size. The real question though is how does his mass sometimes be huge when he's small, but other times not? Pretty sure a 170ish pound guy the size of a pinhead would sink into the ground, and break a lot of stuff, and kill people. The answer? Pym particles are magic!
I annoy my family by pointing out illogical and inconsistent things in films, this movie has a lot of those, but if you looking for something to watch on a lazy afternoon and don't overthink things I don't think it's that bad.
Except I'm pretty sure most of it wasn't actually expensive. Reused, repurposed, and piggy backed on... like. Im pretty sure all three brought most if their own wardrobes. And the scenes were filmed on preexisting sets. Lol. The whole thing came across like they borrowed everyone from other jobs. Including the actors.

With the (possibly) final season begun, it's time for an Honest Trailer for The Expanse, one of the best sci-fi shows ever made.

I made sure to go onto Netflix's site to disable that autoplay function, much like I do for EVERY APP & WEBSITE THAT DOES IT! I especially HATE when apps do that autoplay crap because on MANY apps it can ruin your recommendations! I make sure to disable it on my computer too since online videos drag down my web browser's performance!

@@sudesnaberg1811 Yes, but you have to log in to their website on a computer to do it. You won't find the option to do that on other devices. I know that from experience. After you turn it off on their website, it SHOULD stop autoplaying videos on all your devices. I had to consult an online help article to find out how to do that since I'm no techie.
Come on, you could have mentioned the Community episode on Conspiracy Theories. This whole movie's plot was essentially that. "Do you understand what a conspiracy is? When you conspire with everyone you come across, you're not really conspiring with anyone. You're just doing random crap."
I'll give the film credit for two things:
1. "Soto vocce" literally means to speak quietly, so it was true to character.
2. The use of drones made for some interesting action shots during chases.
For those of you unfamiliar, "Too Many Crooks" is a play on Adult Swim's Too Many Cooks, it took me 2 weeks to get that evil song out of my mind 😳

That's the story of his career, and he's not the first actor that this is true about. Vince Vaughn was vanishing off the planet until he and studios realized he should just play himself.
Not everyone loves it, but the snark of Reynolds is incredibly charming for many and if it ain't broke don't fix it.

One night while laying in bed I just couldn't sleep. Picked up the iPad and watched this. It was exactly the kind of movie to watch in that situation and served it's purpose well.
I think my favorite part was the three bald jokes in like five minutes. Especially RR asking DTRJ why he’s wearing a hairnet.
I haven't seen the movie yet but based on the trailers, my impression of the film is they practically recycled The Hitman's Bodyguard and Hobbs & Shaw and remade it into one movie.
I'm not even mad for this movie tho. Nowadays, film makers are either trying too hard or not trying at all. We need the middle way, like this movie.

Everyone in my office was hyping it out and I was bored before the halfway point. There's little to no chemistry whatsoever. Even if there is it felt forced. So...no. Except for the prison break scene. I have to admit was kind of cool the way the clues were sprinkled.

I’d recommend Last Night in Soho, Green Knight, and The Last Duel. Red Notice is visual fast food, a smooshed ketchup hamburger and the movies I recommend are Steak and Lobster yes they take time and effort to enjoy.

That moment when you actually enjoyed a movie a lot then came online to see almost everyone hating it. Yep, that's me right now.

The Honest Trailer funnier than the movie it's about. Though to be fair I did chuckle a couple of times in the movie.
Also Ant-Man needs the respirator on his suit when he's small or big for that very reason, incompatible oxygen sizes and capacity to extract it from the air per his size. The real question though is how does his mass sometimes be huge when he's small, but other times not? Pretty sure a 170ish pound guy the size of a pinhead would sink into the ground, and break a lot of stuff, and kill people. The answer? Pym particles are magic!

I annoy my family by pointing out illogical and inconsistent things in films, this movie has a lot of those, but if you looking for something to watch on a lazy afternoon and don't overthink things I don't think it's that bad.
Netflix originals are not really materials you should look for logics and consistencies so..

Except I'm pretty sure most of it wasn't actually expensive. Reused, repurposed, and piggy backed on... like. Im pretty sure all three brought most if their own wardrobes. And the scenes were filmed on preexisting sets. Lol. The whole thing came across like they borrowed everyone from other jobs. Including the actors.
