I actually fell for the plot twist with the Rock because I had such low expectations for the movie that I thought all the hints were just terrible writing

Yea no one saw it coming cause no one would ever over think a Dwayne Johnson movie, wasn't because it was clever, it's like when the class idiot who gets fs all the time and is proud of their fs gets a D minus,
I'm embarrassed to say I totally didn't see the Rock twist until so close to the big reveal that I can't in good conscience claim I that figured it out.
That's probably because plenty of scenes like The Rock vehemently pleading his innocence (what if he'd convinced her? Going to jail: kind of integral to their plan) or Gal Gadot intercepting the call to refute his identity actively played AGAINST the twist. You don't get points for a twist when you set it up poorly.
If it makes you feel any better, I had all but lost interest in the plot by that point, so I didn’t see it coming either. But when it hit, my eyes rolled pretty hard.

Time for a Deadpool 3. Just to get it out of his system again. Cause right after Deadpool 2 he made detective Pikachu. The best videogame movie ever. It's a low bar but it had a decent leap over Mortal kombat (original).

On the one hand, yeah, the set up for the twist might have been a bit heavy handed (although honestly I don't think it was too bad, most of those things you showed did have a different meaning within context), it's infinitely better than throwing in a twist that hasn't been set up at all and makes no sense just for shock value, like a lot of movies these days

People forget that you're supposed to have foreshadowing. I'm not going to penalize Red Notice for it being a little heavy. It was a fun movie to watch, which is all I asked for.
This piece of garbage is average, "like a lot of movies these days".
Ryan Reynolds's ability to play Ryan Reynolds in every single movie he's in is admirable in a way.

It's a fine movie, it's exactly the thing you expect from it: 2 hours of the Rock, Deadpool and Gal Gadot doing typical Rock-, Reynolds- and Gal-type stuff. Nothing more, nothing less.

It did not even deliver on that accord. The Ryan Reynolds jokes sounded like Deadpool rejects which Reynolds was allowed to use in this one.
Yes, and I'm totally fine with that. Also, that Reynolds was basically Deadpool in this movie without the killing.
That dollar menu burger was some fine dining. This movie is the entertainment version of that food.
The sleepy, yawny thing you did towards the end, had me rolling with laughter. Love the content!
This film exists in that point where anyone who critiques films for a living will hate it for how generic it is but those who don't will just love it for being able to turn their brains off and just enjoy it.
You don't need to critique film for a living to not see how this film does everything in it's power to be accessible to everyone in the most transparent ways. You can like it, but come on man, don't sell even the common person that short.

I will admit they got me with the twist. Layed nice clues, each could be interpretted another way and did explain plot holes with the heist that I'd noticed before. Solid, not that shocking, twist. However it completely ruined any kind of relationship Renolds' and Johnson's characters were builiding which was the only thing I really liked about the film. Though I am actually looking forward to that sequal because now they've set it up for that kind of relationship bromance thing to blossom.
Come on, you could have mentioned the Community episode on Conspiracy Theories. This whole movie's plot was essentially that. "Do you understand what a conspiracy is? When you conspire with everyone you come across, you're not really conspiring with anyone. You're just doing random crap."
I’ll be honest despite what people say I really enjoyed and loved this movie, and even though I probably should’ve I actually didn’t see the “plot twist” at the end coming, honestly like I said I think I was too busy enjoying myself while watching a movie, and I will also be honest in the fact that I have been told that when it comes to movies I am pretty easily pleased. Don’t get me wrong however I know all the flaws the movie has and I’ll probably just watch it every once in a while when I’m bored and have nothing else to do.
I didn’t guess the plot twists either. I just assumed nothing would make sense and didn’t really try to follow the logic. I definitely will never watch it again, but it was fine.
This had like 3-4 plot twists at the end but I didn't see them coming so good ending I guess !

I think the name "Bishop'' is a reference to the chess piece, where there's 2 pieces moving diagonally and 'not straight' like other pieces on board, so yeah, Gal Gadot's character doesn't have to have a name because she's 1 of the bishops...

It was fun escapism, exactly what I hoped and expected it would be.
I may just be an idiot but I genuinely didn't realize the Rock was a bad guy until the reveal.

To answer that question, when Ant-man shrinks, everything on his person shrinks to scale. This includes the bacteria in his stomach to the oxygen in the tanks inside his helmet.
Wouldn't this mean that every bacteria (or for sure atoms) would shrink to "quantum level"?
Regardless, it doesn't make sense. The movie's logic says pym particles work by shrinking the empty space in atoms (which also doesn't work, but let's just pretend it does). If that's the case, how could they go subatomic? Did they shrink the atoms so much that they collapsed on themselves? If so, it would cause a nuclear explosion.
@@gamecokben Dude, it’s a comic book movie. Although shrinking the space between atoms was thought to be scientifically probable at one point. Just not with people who need to breathe.

Its the fiction in Science-fiction. A suspension of disbelief is required if the story is to be enjoyed.

In a movie all about jokes they really missed an opportunity at a Wonder Woman joke when she was fighting with the shield and spear.
They need to follow the Leonard Snart 4 steps of a plan. 1)Make the plan 2)Execute the plan 3)Be prepared for the plan to go off the rales 4)Throw away the plan. (Of course this is pretty standard for every plan in a any given movie.)
I'd love to see the Rock play a character who's personality has nothing to do with his physique.

I made sure to go onto Netflix's site to disable that autoplay function, much like I do for EVERY APP & WEBSITE THAT DOES IT! I especially HATE when apps do that autoplay crap because on MANY apps it can ruin your recommendations! I make sure to disable it on my computer too since online videos drag down my web browser's performance!

@@sudesnaberg1811 Yes, but you have to log in to their website on a computer to do it. You won't find the option to do that on other devices. I know that from experience. After you turn it off on their website, it SHOULD stop autoplaying videos on all your devices. I had to consult an online help article to find out how to do that since I'm no techie.

I'll give the film credit for two things:
1. "Soto vocce" literally means to speak quietly, so it was true to character.
2. The use of drones made for some interesting action shots during chases.
You guys gotta do Bridgerton with a 'stares' montage.
Red Notice is the closest thing to a Carmen Sandiego movie that we will ever get.
And a better Uncharted movie than the actual Uncharted movie.

I haven't seen the movie yet but based on the trailers, my impression of the film is they practically recycled The Hitman's Bodyguard and Hobbs & Shaw and remade it into one movie.
Isn't it nice in the future when everything is non-public movies and shows that you have to own several subscription services to actually know what anyone is talking about anymore.

One night while laying in bed I just couldn't sleep. Picked up the iPad and watched this. It was exactly the kind of movie to watch in that situation and served it's purpose well.
I gotta be honest, I really thought this movie was gonna have me rolling on the floor in a laughing fit, but I haven’t even finished it, I’m still only like 27 min in. I freaking love all 3 of these actors, but you really need more than that to have a successful movie man.
Better than most of the crap hollywierd has been putting out.

I stopped watching after 8 minutes then picked it up later that day and was basically hatewatching the rest.

I’m currently going back and forth between House, The Wire, and Peaky Blinders. 3 far superior shows that what I saw in Red Notice. I’ll finish it one day I’m sure. I’d really like to see Free Guy, I hope that hits streaming real soon. At least that’s a very original idea.
It was the most viewed Netflix film on release day, and second most watched film for 28 days post release. It has an audience rating of 92% I would say that it was a successful movie.
I haven’t watched this video yet but I’m 100% sure it’s gonna be 10 times more interesting than the actual movie.

I would be worth more than any expensive artifact they stole in the movie if I had a nickel for every plothole in the movie
Except I'm pretty sure most of it wasn't actually expensive. Reused, repurposed, and piggy backed on... like. Im pretty sure all three brought most if their own wardrobes. And the scenes were filmed on preexisting sets. Lol. The whole thing came across like they borrowed everyone from other jobs. Including the actors.

I’d recommend Last Night in Soho, Green Knight, and The Last Duel. Red Notice is visual fast food, a smooshed ketchup hamburger and the movies I recommend are Steak and Lobster yes they take time and effort to enjoy.
This movie is like, a bunch of projects that Netflix want to do in one movie
sometimes I wanna watch dumb fun, where I can take my brain out of my head and put it to sleep and do something by myself . This movie lets me do that.
"Red Notice" might be possibly be one of the most successful pieces of *background noise* ever! How many people actually *watched* this movie in its entirety?! 😂
Best part of the movie....I mean, before the end credits....(yes, I watched the ending....fell asleep for most of the 2nd and 3rd acts, but saw the ending), was the part where Egg Sheeran screamed 'I was in Game of Thrones!!" Second place.... end credits....
Can we point out the stupidity of that one prison guard who decided to yeet the bridge instead of the heli?
I annoy my family by pointing out illogical and inconsistent things in films, this movie has a lot of those, but if you looking for something to watch on a lazy afternoon and don't overthink things I don't think it's that bad.
Netflix originals are not really materials you should look for logics and consistencies so..

The Honest Trailer funnier than the movie it's about. Though to be fair I did chuckle a couple of times in the movie.
Also Ant-Man needs the respirator on his suit when he's small or big for that very reason, incompatible oxygen sizes and capacity to extract it from the air per his size. The real question though is how does his mass sometimes be huge when he's small, but other times not? Pretty sure a 170ish pound guy the size of a pinhead would sink into the ground, and break a lot of stuff, and kill people. The answer? Pym particles are magic!

I was watching this with my friend and we predicted almost everything that was going to happen. This movie couldn't be more generic and half assed.
This movie was amazing, and I loved how it felt like Indiana Jones with Deadpool, the Rock, and Wonder Woman. I can't wait for the sequel.
That's because they fed all those scripts into an AI blender and then dumped the puree out and punched up some jokes. It's total dreck.

It steals gleefully from a host of better films and depends on the charisma of its name stars to pull it off. And you know, it mostly succeeds. It's turn-your-brain-off entertainment and proud of it. It's the film equivalent of cotton candy, empty sugar, but sometimes you want empty sugar.
All jokes aside - I enjoyed it. Good popcorn movie. Not every movie needs to be amazing and groundbreaking- i'm okay, enjoying a dumb movie whose main purpose is to just entertain me for an hour or two.
