I just purchased an Helix 9 and it will be a few months before I can use it on my boat. I would like to use it in demo mode and purchased a battery to power it in my garage. Problem is there is no power on the unit. The battery is good but it isn't powering up the unit. Any idea what the problem may be? Does it need a ground etc.
Ok i got another question. I have been having a hard time seeing my bait on screen only every now and then well seen it was on 200khz so narrower view. Well went to change it to 83khz and it was not an option only 200-455khz well went to connected transducer and changed it to 83-200khz and have not gotten to the water yet to try it but , My transducer the XNT 9di says it is only a 200-455khz and 455-800khz di so is my fish finder going to work on 83khz thanks.
