I had a Sumo Spacio with the same 4SP engine. It was a brute. Smooth and oodles of torque. Braking on highway was scary though. But that engine could pull a house along with it. First gear was almost never used. We used to travel all over South India in that car. You evoked a lot of sweet memories now. Wow....

The first time i saw Tata 407 was in 1994.One old model Tata 407 was parking near the road side restaurant in our village of Mizoram.Although i was just a young boy, the looks and design of the truck was attractive to me.I notice that it was not too big, and not small in size like other truck we used to see in those days.Yes, there were only few vehicle in 1990 compare to today.
So, I used to dream having it for travelling our family to my grand father village which is quite far from our village.So after 20yrs in 2014, by the grace of God we have a brand new Tata 407 BS3, 4x4 variant.
Now it become almost 10yrs old and it run smoothly. I still love the design and looks as the first time i saw Tata 407 in our childhood days.

അതിൽ സ്റ്റിയറിങ് നെ പറ്റി കുറച്ചു കൂടി പറയാമായിരുന്നു, അതിൽ നല്ല change വന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്, അതുപോലെ തന്നെ ചെസ് പഴ407 പോലെ അല്ല കുറച്ചു വലുപ്പം കൂടുതൽ ആണ്, പിന്നെ മിറർലും നല്ല മാറ്റം വന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്.പിന്നെ ബാറ്ററി on off ചെയ്യാൻ ഉള്ള ബട്ടൻ, ഇതൊക്കെ കൂടി അതിൽ പറയാമായിരുന്നു
നമ്മുടെ അടുത്ത് 1993 തൊട്ടു 407 ഉണ്ട് ഇപ്പോഴും407 വിട്ടു കളി ഇല്ല. അന്നും ഇന്നും407 വേറെ ലെവൽ ആണ്. അതിൽ2010 ഇറങ്ങിയ HT കുറച്ചു പണി തന്നു😓.
