I have the same exact bike and it's stock. It can do everything else the other liter bikes can do and in 2022 it was only 16K. If that bike can't put a smile on your face it's probably all the "Soft" issues you must be having in life. The bike is comfy, doesn't over heat, reliable, handles like a 600cc bike and doesn't have the ridiculous tumor showing on its belly like the other bikes do. 183 HP is enough for 99 percent of us. If you're the other 1 percent, congrats. Thanks for the video....
This bike makes around more 10-20hp and torque more than all the other liter bikes up until 13-14K. It’s not just the numbers, you have to look at the power delivery. Not just that, the bike weighs 20lbs less than the others
Those bike also have rubber plates in both air ducts that block 1/3 of the air that supposed to get to the airbox. Very easy to remove them and retrieve all of the air that's supposed to be there.
I have a 2017 CBR1000rr. It’s a damn animal. All this video showed me is that you don’t know how to ride dude. I can jump mine in every gear. Side note: CBRs show most of their power in the high RPMs
We tried using another sniffer since the exhaust had a small grate that we didn’t want to damage. The part broke in the exhaust so for the last recorded pulls, we left it in. As soon as we pulled the bike off the dyno, we removed the can and pulled the bits out. She’s all good.
Not necessarily. Any good car is faster around the turns and has better traction for 0-60. Why do you think the plaid can get to 60 in 2 seconds? It all comes down to the driver/rider. Most people can never squeeze the full potential out of this bike on a proper road course
Still I like the cbr 1krr, the power is easy to fix Just wish it had CC and QS standard It's a good, solid bike that is reliable....for the money u would prolly get an Aprilia though
Factory QS doesn't need "special coding" - OEM is compatible through the ECU menu. I'm guessing the owner opted to swap to a different rear tire or sprocket.....in which case the ECU nannies will come out in droves. Update the wheel / sprocket size via the HRC unlock.
I went with a dark smoke puig z racer. I can definitely still see out of it! I bought it for looks and also to protect the dash while on those hot summer rides
Tbh honda has always made street appropriate vehicles so if you want more you gotta do it yourself. They leave everything you need tho so that “unlock” you do changes the whole bike. People trash the bike but it does more than keep up
One time I made a comment on BT motor and I'm gonna take back my comment and I'm gonna say I sincerely apologize for that comment because the man ride the bike after he tested the ECU flashes so I see where the work is being put in and also the result is being put in
Customers get the same files we test on video. Though different dynos yield different results, so it may be more or less than advertised, assuming all other variables are perfect.
I have that bike and the reason the gear indicator is blinking is because he changed the tire diameter by going with a 190/55 instead of the 190/50 that the computer is programmed for.
It's a dog. Basically a few rounds of retrofitted upgrades since 2008 and this is what Honda offers. Might as well save $4k and get a GSX-R750. With that said, if you can pick one up at a significant discount it does make a fun ride for the street. Obviously exhaust and tune are a must. I have a 2015. Cable throttle, no ABS, no electronic safeties or power modes,.. I like it because of the nostalgia factor. It feels like a raw superbike from the mid 2000s with slightly smoother engine and chassis.
You’re not wrong on any counts and it’s not really worth it new which is why most the 600s died because why on earth would i pay 16k for a brand new R6 y’all are fucking nuts but if you can get a deal man it’s a great machine. That Honda will also run forever, another bike a lot of people sleep on is the panigale V2s that’s another great machine for 16k
Not sure if it's your exhaust or some USA emissions thing but my stock CBR goes way harder than that. Even in mode 2 it lifts the front up to 4th and pulls over 170mph in that gear. Zero flat spots either.
Numbers are intervention values, P on 1 means least intervention/control from ECU on power for max power delivery, P on 5 is the max intervention/control on power means its restricted. EB on 1 means least intervention/control on EB for most braking power.
Your little spats of weather is nothing compared to Mn weather, it was 62 last week and now 21 with a 2 day snowstorm 😂 that’s rain/lightning/thunder and 8 inches of snow that just melted 3 weeks ago 😮😢😂. Bipolar weather 😂.
Good lord 2022 and no quick shifter thats crazy I paid 15,000 out the door for my sexy amazing 2020zx10r and it has quick up and down and that is 2020 2016 zx10r had up in 2016 that's alot of money for the honda with no bells or anything and the zx10r 2020 I've had zero problems not on thing and I ride that bitch
At $17 grand this bike is not value packed. Thats a shame because its a looker. Your dyno reads higher than most others for this model on TH-cam videos. The gains seem to be inline with most though.
The only problems with this bike are the ugly exhaust and the headlights design of which should be replaced with an updated version of the twin round style headlights of the earlier fireblades
Man has the bike in 4th gear at like 3000 rpm and says "Oh man, its a lil slow", like no shit lol. My ninja 650 is sluggish if i go into 4th at 3000 rpm and slam the throttle. Terrible review lmao.

Well said. I wouldn't expect any liter bike to pull in forth doing 60. If BTMoto wants to show us what can I'd love to see it.
I agree. Will be picking up a 2600 mile 2018 all stock for 12k which is a great deal IMO for a liter bike.
Ended up passing on that deal. I did buy a 2017 GSX-R750 though.

I like how the engine sounds raspy like a carburated bike; reminds me a bit of a CBR919RR. It has a throaty character modern engines lack!
You can hold the down button down and set the torque and wheelie control to 0. Definitely makes a little difference
Great video 👌🏾
Yes brotha😊😊❤ much love for you from BANGLADESH🇧🇩
I have stock one. It's perfect bike for public road use 🎉
I'm super excited. I am waiting for my BT handheld & velocity stacks to get delivered today. I can't wait to feel the difference for my 22 Busa.
💪
what kind of guard ends are those on the handle bars
12:58 what are those particles inside the exhaust?
I'm sure they are not supposed to be there.

Slowest liter bike in stock form will still walk on a supercar.

I was on your site, and looks like a tune would fixe the sputtering at cruising speeds.
US spec is 184bhp EU spec 214 bhp
The triple R is a monster
Its not outdated it does what it says on the tin
This isn’t the triple R. Honda hasn’t changed this model since 2017.
Factory QS doesn't need "special coding" - OEM is compatible through the ECU menu. I'm guessing the owner opted to swap to a different rear tire or sprocket.....in which case the ECU nannies will come out in droves. Update the wheel / sprocket size via the HRC unlock.
I have the 2019 SP1(which is the same as this, SC77) and Chris Moore only got 170 to the wheel, with a full titanium akro..
I have a 2017 with full arrow exhaust and Chris Hall Performance got me to 170hp and 84lb/ft with his ecu flash and dyno tune
hi, if you have 170 at the wheel, do you know how much you have at the crankshaft (engine)? THANKS
@@VincRTB No
The new gen RR has 199HP instead of the 189HP it previously had.
Honda still says 189hp for the 2033/2024 RR and 214 for the RR-R SP.
Whats the purpose of BLACK windshield when cannot see through ?
For looks, and that's about it. I've always preferred clear windscreens but some people think they look dumb
I went with a dark smoke puig z racer.
I can definitely still see out of it! I bought it for looks and also to protect the dash while on those hot summer rides

Does this tune void the warranty? Does it change the reliabilty? And how much would this tune cost?
Hi, visit our website or email us for info

It’s a good bike for someone who is still a beginner and wants to jump on a liter
Well put...
Jumping on a liter bike thinking you can handle it like a champ just because people say its the slowest liter bike is one of the easiest way to die
I have that bike and the reason the gear indicator is blinking is because he changed the tire diameter by going with a 190/55 instead of the 190/50 that the computer is programmed for.

EU version is not restricted at all, my bone stock 2018 EU SC77 does what you mentioned too.
what is that phone app that recorded your speed and acceleration ?
Dragy
The quick shifter needs to he activated. Can do it with a paper clip under the rear cowl. Super easy to do.
They all lack until you get a tune getting rid of restrictions
Is there an eta for the updated velo stacks. I want to buy them but trying my best to wait for the updated version for the 23 Aprilia rsv4 factory
We’ll announce on social media when complete. We have the RSV4 stacks available now.
We need a 2023 Suzuki r1000r on this channel please
Is there a shop to get this bren tune installed in socal?
Lee’s cycle is a dealer of ours than can handle that. That’s the shop you see in the video.
@11:40 well that's a fucking cool shot!
EB on 1 seems to be the most Engine brake and 3 is the least. Weird how they programmed it like that

This is my determining factor if I purchase the zx10r or the cbr1000rr 🤔
in my opinion ZX10R all day, every day.
so a flashed one with all the bells and whistles has less HP than a stock s1krr?
If u can’t enjoy a superbike like this cbr1000rr u probably don’t know about motorcycles, or just cant push them to its limits
