(If Individuals and defendant constitutes more than one, it is called as an entity.) The only exception is witness as they don't need any help to explain what happened. (Usually 3rd party) . You do not necessarily have to be one among Defendant or one of the Claimant. If you are one in the.entity., it limits only to you.
Same is the case for physician/doctors too. If you feel you know enough about medicines you can do it by yourself. Only condition is stops with you and you shouldn't't legally allowed to make own decisions even if its own wife. But my belief is my right I'm constitutionally allowed. No one other than me can take decisions better for my life; You can't imprison me legally.
