I love your set up and your channel. My bf built me a tiny house inside a Chevy/Grumman one ton step van. I am still caring for mom, so we will have to wait for adventure down the road. Who knows, maybe it will never happen. It all depends on the future of the US etc. and traveling out of Maine. I have family in the south and in FL, but I hear it is way too crowded with people who have given up living in many other not so nice states. It has changed a lot in the last three years. Keep on rolling and nice job posting your adventures. New Subscriber!

I understand completely. My wife and I are kinda in the same situation. We're not full timers but we've been pretty much everywhere in the states . Our home base is also FL and the winters are great...summer not so much. This past summer, we tried staying at least 2 nights whenever we took a "camp site" which is usually a COE campground. This helped us a good bit.

Okay this is going to come way out of left field but, have you two ever been or thought about going to Newfoundland? There's a wonderful fairy that you can take that's approximately 6 hours long and yeah, it's a wonderful places to explore, especially in a truck camper. An the fishing they said is second to none. Yeah it's just a thought. I have a cousin who lives way up in the upper peninsula of Michigan, and that was his and his wife's trip that they took two months this past summer in their truck camper. They were able to boondock really easily and even stay in some of the villages, without any issues. They said that the people there were amazing, that they were very welcoming. After coming home they had nothing but high praises about their time there. Anyway like I said, maybe way out from left field but, maybe Newfoundland could be a possibility for a great adventure for you both. Cheers

There are so many videos these days about Van life being over which infer at times that the author was sold on something that they didn't find out to be true. Well, sheesh, the are hundreds of good reasons to hit the road and just as many to settle down. Neither life style needs to be defended. After all There is a time....Turn turn turn. People buy vans (or Truck Campers, or both eh) for many reasons and in our case we bought a Winnebago Solis as a multi-month cruiser during the hot parts of the year (we live in SW Utah) and hey, it is great, love our land boat and our home base equally.
