I like how Matt can't even do his original voice properly now.
I love how Simmons is similar to Gus’ natural voice, and one can hear Caboose in Joel on occasion, but then there’s Matt and Sarge.
I hear Dr. Oobleck in Caboose, now & again, but can't say I've ever heard either in Joel.

"In 15 years this is the first time I've been recorded doing this" that comment alone really spells it out that this, and like, moments needed to be captured before they are lost forever. Joel being let go was business and I get that; so has the other decisions made by RT, and FOR RT, going down a path that will result in the the content I grew up with before YT was even around being lost forever. Such is change I guess. This video is now a cherished memory for now though due to the first time being able to see some behind the scenes of the recording happening.

The great part about this is they are making fun of themselves and how they started this whole thing almost 20 years ago. All just friends and they still phone it in 🤣

What do you mean?
Tbf some retired to do new projects that inspired them, some resigned after working in the company for so long, and some got fired for things they did. That's just how a workplace goes. For a show that has lasted so long, it's already an honor to have the characters keep their original voice actors for over a decade. Change is hard but if the voice actors change over time it's just a way of life for a long running series. It happens in big companies like Disney too.

Yeah, that's a fair point. It has been like 18 years. It may just be me, I basically grew up following RvB and RWBY through the best years of their lives, and my biases may be to blame for me growing apart from it. Just might be something that happens over time

Seriously thought, can we get a psa about the Death Battle starring the Reds and Blues? with special guest stars Wiz and Boomstick
actually, they already have a death batte themed RvB episode that stars wiz and boomstick in season 14 where they debate whether carolina or the meta would win in a death battle against eachother.
@@spaecyy it stars the original reds and blues but it’s formatted as a death battle episode, not a red vs blue episode

And they recently did another death battle which was red versus blue which brought back some of the cast except Joel. Basically the entire red team versus church, Tucker, caboose, tex and Sheila. You couldn’t predict *that* ending.
Matt's improv about waiting for his check should really have been in the PSA. It's funnier than the line they used, and still fits the context.
I miss the old cast already

For those of you that don’t know all the previous PSAs were from like a year ago and people just think they’re new because they only watch RT on TH-cam. I’m pretty sure this is the first new one.
Also side note I’ve missed Burnie and Joel for a while but Jason just fell off the map. Anyone know where to look for what happened to him? I mean, I don’t think it’s a stretch to just think it was the same situation as Joel, but I’m still curious

I enjoyed the Matt being the boss references in the PSA though. And some of the other references, like when Miles voiced Donut in 11 and nobody noticed.

So I know that Matt has voiced Sarge since I’ve started watching RVB about a decade ago, but that’s the FIRST time I’ve ever seen him do the voice with his body and it’s kindve like hearing a cat bark

The charm of red vs blue is that it changes to 3d animation/CGI and the actual videogame thats what made it satisfying thats one thins rvb zero didn't do
Screw everyone who shits on Rooster Teeth, at least they’re genuine in the content they produce. You can see it right there at the end. That’s something really rare these days and I think it shines through every moment in their shows, even the moments that aren’t great.

I don’t get how people still don’t love Red vs Blue.
I think that it's just that people think the storytelling has not been as good as it used to be. It's also because caboose's voice actor was fired so it kind of ruins the way people see caboose and hear him.
It's changed to a point where it is no longer recognizable season 14 was the last decent rvb season imo
