For "A Little Purple": Colors (S5) For "Fighting Together": Reparation/Preparation (S8/13) For "Agent Washington": Fatum Lustum Stultorum (S13: there's a portion where you can hear his iconic "Big Prize" leitmotif as he confronts Locus) For the "villains" suite: Routine King (S6), Finding the Director (S10) & Control (S11-12) Were they difficult to fi incorporate? I'm not gonna lie I am one of those people as well that loves the music in RvB. I always liked it when I was a kid just because how out of place it felt and like in the Chorus Arc their a bunch of Misfits that don't fit in anywhere particular. To be honest when I first looked up the music behind the funny and spectacle, nearly all of those songs have ended up on my playlist. Not only cause it was a banger with lyrics that make you think about the story as a whole since I am mostly an instrumentalist enjoyer that RvB still has in handfuls. Besides these are the songs I like to bring up with normie music listeners who don't go out of their way to find music that is tied to media. I had rewatched the series from beginning to end (S13) not too long ago and for every song that I had in my playlist I could feel the weight of the emotions and just how much those bits mean to those characters. Like for CT the fight they had with Tex and Carolina goes so hard. Then Connie's song played and damn I've had more emotional moments but the way it was framed and presented just made me feel for her BF.
I'm less than 10 minutes in and bravo man. RvB, Halo, RT, and gaming before 2015 just holds such a place in my heart to me that time frame and what i got in those years exemplifies the phrase; "you don't know what you have until it's gone." And man did I really not know how much I would come to treasure old Roosterteeth and RvB and how those videos and the original halo's are just a time machine for me now I didnt realize what a golden age of internet time i was living in.
This is phenomenal! I always knew I loved the soundtrack but I didn't quite know how to put it into words. I knew it made me feel really intense things, but I struggled to explain why to people who haven't seen the show, while those who have completely understands. And you just put it perfectly!! Am I the only person who kinda liked the non-Monty machinima, the animations from Monty were great but I feel like the in game versions are pretty good too
I do enjoy a good portion of them as well it's just the Freelancer Era animation had such an insanity to them that it matched the insanity of the Reds and Blues well.
