Retro bikes are incredibly beautiful compared to modern-day bikes. Those crisp triangles with straight tubes.. no-nonsense mechanicals.. simply gorgeous and reliable.
A classic bike with a Shimano XTR group that I consider the best group of the 1990s. It was sensational and you can be sure that this bike with the XTR configuration is faster than those with a 29" wheel size. My greetings from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Lightweight cross country WEAPON! I bet that thing carves like a knife with that ridged fork & climbs like a billy goat. Good ol’ lightweight V-brakes getting the job done just fine on a XC machine. 🔥
Glad to read comment like that, thank you 😎 Bike together is around 10 kilos, so yeah pretty light ☺️ Unfortunately testing at its best will be in 2-3 months when the winter ends here in Poland 😭 But I had some similar bikes before and I know how it works I think, true pleasure to ride a bike like this nowadays 🥰 That’s the main reason I’ve built it, I want to have an option to go back in time, sometimes for chilling, sometimes to show some “racers” that carbon and 29” doesn’t make you a better rider 😂😂😂
Beautiful! I miss those days! The handlebar should be "half" of the width as back in the 90's. Also we really didn't need a suspension fork and the ahead set did not exist at the time. I had a Checker Pig with an Easton alu super lite frame.
A dziękuję za miły komentarz. Rowerek owszem całkiem fajny wyszedł, chwilę czasu spędziłem marząc o tym jak go złożę no i trochę więcej zajęło zebranie wszystkich podzespołów. Tak żeby bez kompromisów 😊
the frame is in great shape for it's age. I have the same bike in a different color and it's beat to hell, but still an awesome bike. I want to convert it to a gravel bike somehow.
looks like the frame is in pristine condition....I have a 98 mango yellow Stumpjumper that I'm working on restoring....how much did you spend on XTR group set parts? I just noticed that they seem to be used, but in great condition...
Lovely that mate. I’m definitely putting 950 on something in the future. Stumpjumper also on the wantlist. Do you ride it? That would be my problem when it’s that nice 😅

I think I can agree with you 🤝☺️ look another one I have on my channel the 91 version
Forget the modern 'Aero' sht , this is gorgeous ! 👍

BIKE is awesome, that’s true ☺️ thanks sir and big greetings to you 👋😎
I want to switch out my setup for the XTR group set, now that I've seen it here for my 98 Stumpie.......
Best bike build I've seen to date. Attention to detail was crazy- deadstock chain topped it off!
Big thanks bro 😎 Best bike I’ve built till today as well ☺️👌
The most beautiful MTB group set ever build.

I am a big guy, and I can’t ride those 580 mm bars, after I ride this bike for some time I will put in on the wall and cut the bars to 600 i think ☺️
@@ROWERAGE_vova_belij Cool! Normally was in the range of 50/55 cm, even less. Cheers!
