Dave is it safe to say you thrive on chaos? I admire your work ethic. I my self is a tree/plant addict. It's fun to watch your enthusiasm working with all types of material and projects. Keep the videos rolling.
Hey Dave, nice video appreciate the fall prep regiment. Hey next season if you don’t get buds on the big red maple let a couple of those vigorous shoots grow out, I’ve threaded grafted those maples-quit successfully. Great way to get those missing branches where ya want them. Continued success!
I'm just staring out in Bonsai with a boxwwod and a Spartan Juniper I plan to make a finale sweep of the big Box stores and nurseries in my area of Utah. I will be building benches this winter.
Hello! I love your channel and I would like to borrow your acknowledge, I found a Beni Shidori exported, I live in USA. Is a small size in a bonsai pot but I have no idea what is a good amount to pay giving how rare is to find; would you say 350 is low or high to pay. Thank you.
@@andresfresa123 how small is small? I’m not up on many exported stock. But that tree might cost $159-$200!first a small-ish tree. $359 seems a little steep:
Nice getting the bench to fit. Take time to relax.
Fall. Great color on the leaves. A lot of work to get everything ready for them to go to sleep for the winter months. Fall pruning is always cool.

It's definitely that time of the year again :)
I like that Japanese maple! Great tree. Hope you get that branch on the other side. Even if you don't it still looks cool
Why defoliate now?

Hi Dave, any reason why you didn’t let the new branches keep growing so that they thicken up? Thanks. Mark.
@@marklundquist-jw7eh I want backbudding, and the new branches will grow all next year to thicken the branches.

Best is to stay away from tropical trees.
