Nigel is such a great guy, love his videos. I'm stationed in Utah, our winters is mild compared to rest of the united states so I make by with cheap plastic greenhouse. I would have Chrysanthemums in bloom nearly all winter long. So I leave mine open during the day closed during nights, overcast, and bad weather. For my greenhouse, mainly it's for plants enduring their first few years outdoors. The roots will freeze but the trunk and thin branches won't have ice winds that kill them off.
So happy to see you guys meet again! I watch both of your shows and have for several years. I’m not a bonsai guy but do the “shuffle” with cactus in a cold climate so it’s been very inspiring as I grow my hobby. Cheers!
That was awesome. To hear and see two of my absolute favorite Bonsai TH-camrs talking Bonsai made my morning. The US National Bonsai Show in Rochester is something I’ll be planing for.
I've focused on tropicals and succulents because I don't have a good cold frame for storing trees...my glassed in sunroom gets much too warm and the garden shed seems to attract mice in the winter....
Great video. It got a little dark there but we likely kept you too long chatting with the KW Bonsai Society. It was a blast to see you that day! Come back soon!!!
Very interesting visit to the Bonsai Zone! I only started a channel to connect with other bonsai people and hopefully get some feedback on my trees. I never get to have bonsai conversations. This was really cool to watch. Thanks for sharing.
Great memories!!
Always my friend!
Hey Dave! what a flashback! 😁
@@BlueJayBonsai sure was fun again!!!!!
Very cool Dave. Nigel sure is a great dude! An excellent teacher and inspiration with an amazing collection! 👍
All that was needed for this round table bonsai discussion was a nice fireplace, 2 rocking chairs and 2 cups of tea for bonsai masters. Great info!!!
Catching up on videos with a cup of tea and watching 2 Bonsai Masters.

Looks like you had plenty of mosquitos joining in by the scratching going on. 😂 Enjoy both of your channels.
What a really interesting interview. I would love to be able to interview both of you but alas I just can't swim that far :)
@@XaviersBonsaiRetreat they do make some pretty amazing planes, trains, and automobiles. 😜
