I use my muji weekly planner, kinda same layout so I understand the feeling of not filling out the blanks. Another way to see it is that your planner has space just like life needs space for growth. Space are not bad. It's good that you have learned what works for you so the video is maybe not so sad ;D Of course, most importantly is you feeling comfortable with the planner. Thank you for sharing
I was laughing at myself because lately, I've been putting so much thought into what planner I want to use next year. And it's like so far away haha But there are so many options! And I want to change it up a little. I was really leaning towards the Hobonichi weeks or cousin, but I can't decide! I'm also not a big daily journal-er unless I'm on a trip or something. So I don't know if that would make a difference or not. Haha I'm kind of just leaning toward a dot grid notebook and making my own. I'm so indecisive! I'm kind of glad I'm having this conundrum so far away from the new year, so hopefully I can figure it out by then. lmao Also, I LOVE the lofi Star Wars music!
i hope you find a system that works for you! i remember using a grid notebook and just made the calender myself but I found it hard to track future events. aah I'm glad you noticed! I've been obsessed with star wars lately 😁😁
I’m trying out the Weeks for the last half of the year to see if I like it or not. So far, it’s working fine but I don’t like the ghosting of the pens. So we’ll see if I’ll get it for 2024. Still debating between the weeks and the TN. Btw, I love the subtle nods to BTS on your weeks! BORAHAE fellow ARMY 💜😁
mmh yeah the pages are really thin! I didn't mind that because I always covered it up on the other side. I hope you find a system that will work out 😊 aaah borahae 💜💜💜
oh i totally understand, it's why i stopped using a muji weekly planner from 2021 which also has the same one side blank set up. after i stopped using it as intended, I've been filling in the blank pages with individual, unrelated spreads that i want to create but in 2022 and 2023, since i no longer journal creatively daily/weekly
I really liked it when I used it but when I didn't use daily.. that's when the problem started 😅 thank you so much for the pouch! I will find other ways to use it because it's too pretty to just store a notebook I won't be using
@@ThyPhan94 anytime!! I used it to store my longer sticker sheets~

@@ThyPhan94 You can always put another notebook you're using or something else entirely. I have a leather roll I'm domesticating and I have pens and sticker sheets in it.
I bought a Hobonichi Weeks when they went on sale in a Finnish store... I still have it but I don't really use it that much except for noting short recipes. The paper is too thin and I didn't find the format very useful for me. What I'm using right now is an undated diary/journal from Paperchase (RIP). It's HUGE so it's going to last for some time, and a small agenda from the RHS (Royal Horticultural Society) for appointments, reminders etc. It has a weekly format but more space to write and the paper are nice and thick. Plus, RHS watercolours & botany stuff ❤ I don't know. I didn't feel like Hobonichi and I were at the same wavelength.
I totally understand you! do you feel like your current notebooks are working for you? the hobonichi and ai were on the same wavelength until we weren't anymore 😅

@@ThyPhan94 Yes, we're getting along well. I'll see what happens next year, but I don't think I'll change the notebooks. I might change the agenda/diary if my life pace is different. Either way, I feel like European style diaries & notebooks work better for me than the Japanese ones.
@ good good! I can see the pros and cons for both european and japanese, I do like the style of an undated one, because you can use it whenever, but I think for me it's best to have the whole year written out

@@ThyPhan94 The undated one is mostly for my gardening and bird/nature watching. I don't do it every single day, so I can just write the date whenever I have something to record. It wastes less paper. The dated agenda/diary is for every day life. Things like doctor appointment or class or reminders, things like that =)
@@ThyPhan94 I think you are overthinking the journaling stuff too much. If your concern is the blank spaces, it really happens. If you use a bigger planner, it will be harder bc there will be bigger blank spaces. Lol.
I bought two a regular and a mega. I just don't write that small. And it's to difficult to reference important dates later. It's adorable. But it's too small for me.

aah yes I agree. I need to learn that space is not bad, but my mentality is not there yet 😅 thank you for watching!
Love your style. I can definitely relate to wanting to fill the pages even when there’s not enough going on.
Thank you! the struggle is real 😅

I wished it suited for what I needed. but alas here we are. maybe if I actually used the notes side for notes I would like it more 😅

@katsmith8263 just the moleskine i showed in the video

Hobonichi weeks passa ikke meg heller😅
we live and we learn hva som passer for oss 😇
