    Great video. 2023 was my first year using the Weeks. Unfortunately I did not use it as much as I would have liked. I kept 🤔 it is too nice to use. 😂
    I still have time to use it more. I do like the Weeks so for 2024 I will buy it again and I am determined to use it.😊

      I totally understand that! It is a nice and beautiful planner☺️ did you like and of the covers for next year? Hope you have a fav and will use it more! I love to flip back and see all the used pages😊

    It has been so long since I have commented or seen a video due to TH-cam algorithm. You are one of my favorite casters. Along with Quoth the Crow, and PH plans. Then a newer caster Rachelle in Theory. She taught me how to divide up the huge scary a5 page to be useful for my thesis planner and I have been consistent in that. I finally got a flip through of your Japanese language learning weeks. I had to put Japanese on hold due to the stress levels of my masters thesis and being neurodiverse at the same time.

      Thanks for watching our videos! I love Quoththecrow and Rachelle!!! True that Jackie and I have not posted as often in past months🙈 but hobonichi season is out fav and we’ for sure have more videos from now on! And I am loving the content and format of Rachelle’s videos! I want to go back to my japanese diary, need to find time with my teacher. It’s so fun and I love to practice my writing😊 i totally get it, grad school is a full commitment! You can go back to it later💕

    What color blue is the Moterm? Is that a new color? It almost looks periwinkle! Gorgeous! I want that watch band too!! Lol

  • @Stormbrise
    @Stormbrise ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Yes, I would love design covers on the weeks! Sometimes the solid colors are okay, but… Aurora would have been great as a mega! I am limiting myself to 3 weeks this year. I used the Aurora cover as my EDC, since I had the thesis planner I did not need a mega. I have moved more into journaling so I will not get too many weeks like in the past. I am also moving into just plain A5 and A6 notebooks. I did order a Common Planner from Sterling Ink, Not sure about the size of if I even like it.

    • @ScientistPlans
      @ScientistPlans  ปีที่แล้ว

      I also want to stay around 2-3 weeks, and not get the mega after seeing the design covers. I love many of them so I will try to use the little booklet if I need more pages😊

    Nice! Your Weeks videos in the past were my main motivation for getting my first Weeks in 2020 :)
    Pens will show serious bleed through the TRP over time if you live in a humid and warm climate and don't store your planner in a temperature-controlled environment. I'm in Singapore which is super humid regardless of rain or shine, so my writing bleeds through like crazy after ten months XD and I know of many other Hobonichi users living in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand who share the same experience as I did. I am not crazy over TRP so I'm fine with switching to other paper types, but yeah for anyone in places with high humidity, just take note of the possibility of ink bleed through after a prolonged period!

    • @ScientistPlans
      @ScientistPlans  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you😊 wow!!!! Humidity then😮 do you think ballpoints are better option in this case? Curious to know! thanks so much for sharing!! ☺️

    • @janetay8798
      @janetay8798 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ScientistPlans Oil-based inks like ballpoints perform the worst 😅 the best option will probably be fountain pen inks and pencils. I'm not sure about how the newest Tomoe River Paper S performs though.

      Your hobo for this year is sneaker weeks mega right? Is it ok with cover on cover?

    • @ScientistPlans
      @ScientistPlans  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@anne-mariehaavikko6994 thanks for watching!🙂 yes! the sneaker fits in he cover on cover, but this planner is a bit smaller than the regular one as the thinner cover is exactly same size as paper and not a litter larger than the thicker on the hobonichi weeks regular, so there'll be some space left if that does not bother you.

    • @ScientistPlans
      @ScientistPlans  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you don’t mind rollerball the hobonichi pen (unijetstream) is a good choice like mentioned. They have it from 0.38 to 1.0

    • @bella619
      @bella619 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I bought the planner at a small stationary store. I didn't know anything about it, so I didn't think to ask the proprietor for a pen recommendation. Started watching content about weeks to see if people addressed the issue. People sample and swatch and paint in it. However, I haven't come across a direct discussion about it, so I thought I would ask the community of certain creators for feedback. . Fine point is definitely better. Energel clena 03 in brown seems ok. The felt tip pens by Noted don't smudge too much. I will try all the suggestions so thank you!!

      I keep going back to weeks even though I hate the smudging! A few pens that have worked well for me are the pilot hi Tec coleto, pilot juice, muji pen, and the Hobonichi pen that comes with the books!
