    LG C1 is the best TV for gaming and for the price for 2022 no need to pay more for the newer models C2 or Gallery series if you want to save money the 65inch is a awesome start point.

    it is kinda confusing because you combined Ps5 setttings with movie settings all in one and I dont understand which one is which.
    I searched for ps5 settings (sdr and hdr) and I found your video but you are addresing for too many things and its unclear for me how to set my Tv sdr and hdr content for only ps5 and vice versa.

    Great video! And I was kinda waiting for a short video like this :) I recently bought C1 and I’m kinda frustrated with all these settings. But glad that I watched your video and now I know that I should watch Netflix and etc on tv app, not ps5. Also, do you know why my C1 doesn’t change input to HDR whenever I open Netflix? I think it just stays on SDR all the time. Which one picture setting should I use then? Thanks!

    • @mikeshubinski
      @mikeshubinski 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mikeshubinski I had Premium and after watching David Attenborough in 4K hdr and 1 or 2 other docs, there wasn’t really any 4K I was interested in. I stayed with it as it was only about £11.99 per month but twice in last maybe 6months, Netflix have upped the price. After this I went down to the regular 1080p package and they upped price again. At least they mentioned last price increase, that this benefits us because it means that they can give us more quality content. Could be bullshit, but could actually be true.
      Probably more like, (Give Us MORE Money And WE Will Drip Feed You Slightly More Content. 1 subscription I have that’s up a bit but incredibly worth it is, ps plus. I was paying £50 per year, I only played online from 2013”4-2019. Since then no online gaming and 90% of ps plusGREAT games, I already owned. Now I’m paying about £83 per year and on top of ps plus games I get loads of ps Extra games and apparently, they adding games each month to extra and premium. again, I own all the big games on there, bloodborne, days gone, gow, horizon, literally everything but there’s a handful that I don’t have. Including Returnal and that alone is worth the extra £33 per year.

    • @grahamkelly8662
      @grahamkelly8662 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @ Vytautas sorry to hear about your frustration with C1 but I may have a gift, to cheer you up. Well not me personally, Apple TV are offering 6Months free Subscription for ALL Ps5 Owners. But it’s Limited and I don’t know when it runs out. All I know is that I got it yesterday. I wasn’t expecting much because it only costs £4.99 per month but as it was free and I just bought LG C1 I thought, why not try Apple for free. I installed it. Home page I scrolled through and it was utter dogshit. I was like, this is what they have on home page, to pull customers in. So poor that I stopped scrolling. I went down to next row pic looked bit more flashy, I clicked and it said rent or buy x price. Tried 3 more and All the same and I was like, oh yeh , 6 months free Apple TV, Great, all the free stuff is from 1980 and the ok looking still is paid content. I was about to just uninstall from my tv but I dug deeper and found the best possible type of content, for me and that was Many David Attenborough 4K Documentaries, that I’d never seen. Some looked familiar, that I’d seen last few years, advertised for sky. I don’t have sky and just thought I’d wait until they possibly get released on 4K Blu-ray and they all on Apple TV. I watched The Day The World Stopped
      The Elephant Queen
      And some historic Dinosaur series, that I see advertised before and looked crap but it looked INCREDIBLE. Especially on LG C1 . I am a bit confused as to where they found dinosaurs, because I was taught , they went extinct, Millions of years ago but my teacher must be wrong and David Attenborough Proved it. 🙄😭☺️

    So maybe you can offer a suggestion. After matching your settings and even following others recommendations, my TV still goes way to dark on the dark scenes. I've turned off any energy saving feature and other auto sensors but the screen won't brighten again until either a lighter scene or if I bring up the settings menu then the tv notices it better brighten up, at least till the next dark scene.

    I’ve owned a 65in C1 since last year. I exclusively use it with a PC. Why won’t this TV save my audio preset? Everytime I turn on the TV or restart my PC it changes the audio back to “Game Optimizer” which sounds horrible. I’ve read it was a bug but how can they not fix it? I can’t recommend this TV because of it.

    • @mattg768
      @mattg768 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No set it to high its a bad explanation on LGs part, on their official site it says set it to high. High means more aggressive logo recognition so it can dim that area and move pixels.low means it's working at its lowest capacity. Put it on low and get burn after a year if you want though.

      @rashman9579 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, have to agree here. It is all subjective though, so I don’t take issue with anyone who chooses to have max settings for oled brightness and also contrast. I use the tv mostly in the evenings, so I don’t need/ like a glaringly bright picture. But also, I don’t see the need to crank these TV’s up to max brightness unless you are testing material, showing the TV off or testing the TV. I have my oled brightness set to anywhere between 65-75. I have contrast set anywhere between 75-85. The HGIG topic is a hotly debated one. Though I see the argument to using HGIG, it does give an overall darker image which people don’t generally favour. I tried it but ended up going back and using dynamic tone mapping. To me, it’s a much more satisfying image.
      Also, when using a PS5, I recommend the following: set RGB on the PS5 to auto and set the video range on the TV to limited. You’ll get much more proper inky blacks with no downside. Setting video range on the TV to auto may seem logical but you will end up with washed out blacks. Try it and see. Try it in a pitch black room. Thank me later 👍🏼
