- Remembering the eight young men who lost their lives on the lower slopes of Carn Aosda near Braemar. Their aircraft although reported missing wasn’t found for some four weeks after the accident. After the discovery of the aircraft by a local gamekeeper it took around two months to recover and bury the bodies. One of the engines is now displayed next to the War Memorial in Braemar. Remember them.
