The Bottom Line: Our POSITION in Christ should PROVOKE us to “walk in the Spirit” that we POSSESS. We SHOULD “walk in newness of life” and no longer be the servants of sin. “They which do such things” V.21 are THEY which are “in the flesh”, we are not “in the flesh” but “in the Spirit”, if we live in the Spirit, let us also WALK IN THE SPIRIT! *Again, that is not to say that a believer cannot or will not “do such things” as listed in Galatians 5. Remember, the believer has two natures: The flesh (sinful) and the Spirit (incapable of sin). If you're saved, then you shouldn't live like the unsaved world!
@@pastordavidberman2091 I believe in osas (once saved always saved), also believe in the doctrine called Babes In Christ. I hope you don't misunderstand me, but you see, works, any morality, righteousness, maintaining good works, behaviours, a bit change of attitude etc are never needed for someone to be saved or as an evidence of someone to be saved. It is only God that knows if someone is saved based on the doctrine he will give and the right spirit of truth wether someone has the mark of the spirit by believing alone in Christ as his salvation.
@@pastordavidberman2091 Galatians 2:21 [21]I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Romans 11:6 [6]And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. Ephesians 2:8-9 [8]For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9]Not of works, lest any man should boast. Romans 4:4-8 [4]Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. [5]But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. [8]Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. THUS, our sins are blotted out and was clearly imputeth by the blood and name of the Lamb of God our Saviour Jesus Christ!
Once again even demons believe and tremble but they don't obey the word. We still serve God in this flesh according to Paul. Brother Onorato.....you are a bright shining light in a vast dark universe of Works Salvation and Lordship Salvation confuscation........you are helping soo many poor oppressed children of God to break the adamantine shackles of "Earning you Salvation". God Bless You.
This message was a 'last puzzle piece’ for me in dealing with the fear of losing my salvation for my shameful continuation in being sexually immoral from before I trusted in Jesus as my savior. The verse ‘do not be deceived’ and ‘will not inherit’ I held close to me because I am guilty of doing shameful things even after trusting in Jesus. So I figured that I had been forgiven of the past lifestyle but because I continued in measure during my pilgrimage, this scripture hung me up. I thank you for unpacking this in the way of truth according the Bible. For the past two years or more now, I have felt as though God has removed His Spirit from me and that I have lost my salvation. I still feel that I have either been given up by God, or that I have quenched the Spirit by my sin, or that God is chastening me. I hold fast to Philippians 1:6 I pray Jesus will keep me kept and not let me go and that God will restore me and renew my mind, keeping me from sin. Thank you Ono for all of your work in the Lord Jesus!! Amen my brother *
Yes god might chastize his children. But he LOVES us. Do NOT trusr your feelings with your salvation. Look upon yourself, see the wretched man that we all are (even after believing in Christ) and then look only upon Jesus Christ to save you. Its that simple to reveive the free gifr of eternal life. Believe only on him
If you trusted Jesus Christ as your Saviour you are God's child and there's nothing you can do to be unborn or lose your salvation. Your salvation is totally, completely, fully in what Jesus Christ on your behalf to save, not one thing you do. Our dependency is totally in Christ and he has given us his Spirit to indwell us and as we let him empower us to live the Christian life. Yes we still have the old flesh to battle and will battle with it until the day of redemption when we receive our new body but through Christ we can live in victory each day.
God doesn't expect perfection, or He would have simply told us we could be saved through perfect adherence to the ten commandments etc. But He didn't. He came down to earth to teach you love, and to demonstrate His love for you, in that *even when we were His ENEMIES, He died for us* Read that again. Even in your darkest sins, God looked down on you in love. He just wants you to admit you're sinful, try and do your best, love Him and your neighbors, and *TRUST THAT NOTHING CAN SNATCH YOU FROM HIS HAND* , just as he said.
This is exactly what I need to help explain to a friend that we are in the spirit that will inherit the kindom, and our flesh is what will perish. Thank you for this study.
All believers have TWO NATURES- the spirit and the flesh. As Jesus explains to Nicodemus- “that which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit” (John 3:6). The moment you trust Jesus Christ as your Savior, you are “sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance” (Ephesians 1:13-14). You are “born again” (John 3:7), but it is a spiritual birth into the family of God. As Paul explains, “you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:26). This new birth is of “incorruptible seed” (1 Peter 1:23) and “cannot sin” (1John 3:9). You are, then, forever a child of God. He will “never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). You will never be “cast out” (John 6:2). Furthermore, to those who have trusted Him as Savior, Jesus says “no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand” (John 9:31). This would include YOU yourself. In other words, you can't lose your salvation once you have it. Remember, it’s “by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, NOT OF WORKS, lest anyone should boast” (Ephesians 2: 8-9). Anyway, nothing imperfect can enter into heaven, which is why “flesh and blood CANNOT inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Corinthians 15:50). Here, Paul continues by explaining that “nor does corruption inherit incorruption.” Thankfully, as we remember, our new birth is of “incorruptible seed” (1 Peter 1:23). Your new birth (your spiritual nature), then, is forever perfect. You are eternally secure (going to heaven no matter what) because there are now no sins to pay for. (You can't KNOW you're going to heaven until you know you CAN’T go to hell). Why can't you go to hell once you've trusted Christ as Savior? Simple, because… Christ Paid For My Sins (ALL of them- past, present, and future). So yeah, let's choose to walk “in spirit and truth” (John 4:24), and not give the flesh the attention it seeks. So, WHEN you happen to sin (and we ALL do as long as we're on this earth), because “if we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us” (1 John 1:8)...just know you were walking in the flesh instead of the Spirit. Remember, if we pretend like “we have not sinned, we make Him a liar” (1 John 1:10). When you sin, then, that doesn't mean you're now going to hell (remember, your new birth is spiritual and CANNOT be revoked). It just means you were focusing on temporal things instead of eternal things. This is the power of your new identity in Christ: you are forever a child of God (and so going to heaven). Let's live our lives like we actually believe it. Let's have boldness and joy in proclaiming this Good News! Let's not let our “minds be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ” (2 Corinthians 11:3). After all, the one, true Gospel IS simple, and here it is: CHRIST PAID FOR MY SINS (past, present, and future). The very moment you believe/accept that he paid for YOURS, you can be SURE that you're going to heaven. Meditate on that, and it becomes easier to walk in the Spirit instead of the flesh. Take care friends.

Amen. So many professed believers try denying that the flesh still exist! We should out of gratitude walk in newness of life. Resist evil denying ourselves.
That is why we are called to be ambassadors by his grace to lead those who practice such things to repentance and change by his timing and not our own!! We are the ambassadors for christ not leaders!! If you truly love Jesus!! Getting people into the kingdom is the way!!
This must be true, because the alternative is to say any sin can put a believer in the non-saved or lost salvation category. James says that breaking the law at any point is to break the whole law. It's always amazing to me how Bible scholars can't seem to get this concept. We are still prone to sin after salvation the Bible even teaches this! So the categories must exist or we have a problem with having any coherent doctrine. It's amazing how this doesn't seem to be thought through very much. It seems many Christians just take verses and go with first impressions. I have been guilty of that admittedly. But the deeper meaning is there and is consistent with good study of the Scriptures. This isn't some doctrinal slight of hand. It's backed up by sound logic and teaching.
James 2 is teaching people to KEEP ALL THE 10 COMMANDMENTS. Sadly church inverts the whole teaching into lawlessness/anti-nomianism "If you want to enter into life, KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS" - Jesus "Here is the patience of the saints, those who KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS" - Revelation
@@karltiedemann7222 I've found the ones who claim to be sinless are in fact sinning by nature of pride and lies in the act of their profession. When Jesus said go and sin no more, I believe His words permeated the soul with love and joy. When a man tells us sin no more, it speaks to our flesh in striving by ourselves to be perfect and we fail.
@@jamesalvey9683 I don't believe Judas truly believed In Jesus as the Messiah/Son of God/God incarnate. It doesn't say in the Bible Judas believed on Jesus. The Bible says he was a thief and I believe he saw Jesus' ministry as an opportunity for himself. After he betrayed Jesus, he was remorseful and repented of what he did giving the silver back....my view is that like the Bible says, he realized he betrayed innocent blood, but never believed in Him for who claimed to be. As far as your notion on Annanias and Sapphira lying to the Holy Ghost as proof they were not truly saved, I cannot say if they are saved or not. Maybe they just wanted to join the club or were true believers but pride and greed got ahold of them. Just because their lives were cut off, doesn't necessarily mean they weren't saved IMO. God knows. I think with Judas it just proves that we're not saved by repentance or just feeling remorse for our wrong doing, but faith and trust in Christ's finished work on the cross for our sin and His deity.
@@jamesalvey9683 I have thought in the past, what if Judas "the son of perdition" who killed himself after repentance and guilt of betrayal is in heaven and maybe the Bible left out his inner heart before dying but the word perdition indicates he was an unbeliever. The Bible shares prophecy being fulfilled through him and the betrayal. We'd probably want to kill ourselves too if we realized we were guilty of what Judas did, but it had to be done. God is Sovereign over Satan and his minions and everything is for His Glory and ultimate plan. God uses the fallen ones for judgement and testing. The archangel Michael would not bring a railing accusation of Satan in the book of Jude, but said the Lord rebuke you. I think we tend to blame things on Satan too much when it's our own sinful nature and I'm guilty of it as well. Christ died for the ungodly.
@@jamesalvey9683 I think James that you truly need to put all of your trust and faith in what Jesus did on the cross for your sin and completely rely on Him and not yourself. I don't believe "saving faith" is hard, just obedience is after.

This is great, there is a great problem facing the body today is that the saints do not know who they are in Christ and what they are in Him by His Spirit and His Life as ours now. I definitely didn’t until this past year, so much freedom taking the mind and eyes off of self, flesh, body of sin and living by Faith in Christ who is the reality and reference point of my Life. Great video explaining the difference between flesh and spirit brother.🤙🏽🔥
You’re an excellent teacher, brother. You bring the simplicity of the teacgings - which is in God - into light and not to overcomplicate things by emotions. Let’s be all filled with the Spirit and humble ourselves for we know that we are rich in God‘s blessings but unable to perfect the work which Jesus Christ has done two centuries ago. I‘ll pray for y‘all. It takes a lot to work but it takes only a few things to believe. Amen.
You can't embrace sin and still claim to be a believer. Don't water down God's word. Salvation is through faith in Christ alone but a believer is not going to chase after sin. A believer is going to recognize the sin and come to repentance and seek God's mercy and help to overcome the sin. People that claim they are Christian and yet openly live a life of sin, and claim that it's perfectly okay with God, such as homosexuals or a heterosexual couple just living together, are completely misguided and should seriously consider as to whether or not they truly are saved.
If you are to keep the law you must keep the whole law, for if you keep the law yet offend in one point, you are guilty of all. (Paraphrasing) Sin is sin, regardless of what it is. Known and unknown; thought, word and deed. Romans 7 and 8 puts to rest this idea of needing to stop sinning completely to be saved. Christ paid the debt for all sins, your flesh is inherently sinful, your flesh serves the law of sin but your mind the law of God.

This is the will of Him who sent me, that of all He has given me that I lose NONE, but should raise it up again at the last day. Jesus said this...not Paul, not Peter, not James, not John. According to what Jesus said, where do people get the idea that it is STILL possible to LOSE salvation?
@@jameshoyt3692 Granted, but we do receive everlasting life upon faith in His Blood alone...the ONLY reason ANYBODY goes to Heaven. It's (salvation) totally separate from any efforts we make AFTER being born again.
God desires that no man should perish, yet most are. If He is fully responsible, then how can this be? Many are called, that is, many have been chosen to be saved, but few are in fact chosen, why? If God is fully responsible, and our works or actions have nothing to do with our gaining or losing our salvation, then why are so many going to hell. God calls us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling, why if we have nothing to lose?
You work out your salvation once you have it. You cannot earn it. God purchased your salvation through Jesus Christ, that is why salvation is a free gift. To work out your salvation is to simply make it mature & strong. You do this through study of God’s word, doing works unto God, living in faith, etc. This is done to further fortify your faith. The responsibility of the person is to believe the gospel. Often, God’s will/sovergnity is confused for determinism. It is God’s will for all to be saved, and God has made a way you to be saved, yet it is up to the person to freely choose salvation.
@@catlyana13 there is no place in Scripture that says salvation is a free gift. Please do show me the verse. Ephesians speaks of grace and it's up to us what we do with the grace, which was unmerited, given to us by God. Faith without works is dead and dead faith will not safe us; therefore clearly we are called unto good works and the many parable Jesus gave us proves this truth. We do not have a license for sin, we must work out our salvation with fear and trembling, lest our faith is in vain, as we are warned can happen. We indeed shall be judged by our works, and if our works lead unto sin and death, we shall not be inheriting the Kingdom of God. Why do you think God said to "work out" our salvation with fear and trembling? What do you think not all who are called by God unto salvation will be saved? He says many are called, but few chosen. Do you think He calls those He does not intend that they should be saved? Why will names be blotched out of the Book of Life? Do you think God writes in names to blotch them out, because He never intended them to be saved? This is why sin is so pervasive in the church, and we look like the world. This is why so many pastors are in sexual sin, because they believe the lie and do not fear God. He will not be mocked, we shall reap what we sow. If we trust God, continue in perseverance, He will ensure we are saved. But we will always have free will. We do not have to succumb to the sinful desires of our flesh. Many do, because they believe they cannot lose their salvation, based on a false doctrine, including Calvinism, which aligns with the very gospel Jesus warned, which would tickle our ears. Can any other trump the idea, that we can continue in sin, without the consequences of losing our salvation? We must repent and walk in the truth.
@@Austin_Bennett77 Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” Actually, the reason why so many will be rejected by Christ is because they trusted in their own works to save themselves, instead of his completed work on the cross. James 2 speaks of the profitability of our works NOT towards salvation, but in respects to persons. James 2:1 says, “My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.” The chapter then further explains how our faith is demonstrated by our works. It is not to earn salvation, but to profit our fellow man, by showing our fellow men what faith in Christ looks like, and how it can profit them. Next, we work out our salvation with fear & trembling not for the sake of being/staying saved. Reading the verses following Philippians 2:12 will demonstrate Paul’s point: “For it is God which worketh in you to both will and to do of his good pleasure (vrs. 13)”. Then Paul proceeds to mention things that a Christian shouldn’t do, in order to retain a good testimony. Trying to keep a good testimony while dealing with the turmoils of life is stressful, it causes fear and trembling at times. Not a single verse afterwards does Paul mention keeping your salvation. Acts 20:28 tells us, “Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood” It seems you are arguing that if God is fully responsible for our salvation, then he is also responsible for sending people to hell. This is further from the truth. John 3:16 is clear: “…WHOSOEVER believeth on him shall not perish, but have everlasting life”. God paid the price of salvation with the death of Jesus Christ. However, God leaves it up to us to receive his gift of salvation or reject it, hence WHOSOEVER; anyone can repent (change of mind/heart) and believe on Jesus Christ and get saved. Those who reject Christ, damn themselves to hell. Although you argue strongly that free grace is responsible for so much immorality, you cannot turn a blind at the evil fruits pride in one’s works has produce. Look at all the churches filled with people projecting a holier than thou attitude, looking down on unbelievers, bashing believers that are different from them. The world hates Christianity because of people who think their sins don’t stink because of their good works. Wrong! So much immorality, abuse & scandal also comes from those thinking too highly of themselves. The Pharisees and these people are no different. Have you thought about that? To conclude, the Bible clearly teaches that salvation is by grace through faith, not of ourselves. Hopefully you’ll reconsider your position, and embrace God’s grace fully, because counting on good works to save you, will not save you at all.

Well said and right with the word of God. Someone you and others you may enjoy listening to as l do is Pastor Thomas Cucuzza of Northland Bible Baptist Church in St. Cloud Minnesota. Thanks for expounding, proclaiming God's word and God bless you!
That's why we can't be complacent, because we may fall into sins all over again and again. No matter how much we say, Jesus, Jesus...if we don't follow his commandments, the Lord will not accept us in his Kingdom, because Jesus Christ is the gatekeeper there.
I've got some bad news for you. You cannot do good enough to enter heaven, it is impossible. There's only one way to get to heaven, I'll let you take a guess as to what that is.
We are saved by faith alone and not by our works, or good deeds, or checking every box, or being perfect. We could never do enough of those things to please God that’s why the Bible stresses over and over to place your faith in Him and place no other gods or idols before Him. Because relying on your own works will never cut the mustard
That doesn't mean you can keep sinning an there be know consequences. We are to become disciples of JESUS and learn to walk like HIM. If you get saved and that's it and you just keep living the same as always you will not make it to heaven. That's not to say you will not fall into sin but when you truly give your life to JESUS you turn from sin and come to a place were you fight it not just live in it.
The doctrine of the 2 natures is biblical also some teach there is a distinction between entering the kingdom and inheriting the kingdom which I hold to
Hi @OnoDiamante! What about believers who live in sins and committing the sins listed, will they not inherit the kingdom of God? Many are living that way...
My comment isn't directed to the maker of this video. Everything in the video is right on, thanks for that! ......................................................................... It is so easy, so very easy to confuse 1 John 3:9 (Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.) with the flesh. People read that and think they are supposed to do something! They immediately start to put down sin in their life, but only the sin that is obvious to them. We all have hidden sin that none of us could put down, it's in the flesh, we can't control it. A person may do good for a long time in "not sinning" in the ways that are obvious (but only to them), but eventually because of the flesh we all fall off the cart. I'm not saying to just go ahead and get on in and sin SIN SIN! Their is a battle going on and we will lose that battle in the flesh. When we were born again that man, that "Seed" is what never sins. And it's like that because it's not us doing something, it's God! God is the one who has decided to put a believers sin as far as the east is from the west, to remember it no more! It's God who made us alive again in order so that we could believe on the Jesus Christ. We haven't done anything! If we do anything at all it's the constant struggle between sinning and not wanting to sin. Maybe you put down your drugs, feeling good? Maybe you put down the bottle, are you feeling less sinful? Let's see......you put down cigarettes and cheating on your wife. You put down your homosexual active, feeling saved? Have you quit murdering people, feeling more SAVED TODAY? No Christian is saved or unsaved because they started or stopped doing ANYTHING! That thought process comes from the father of lies and he's beat a many of Christian with it. The difference between a believer and a sinner is this. The sinner mocks God as he try's to find ways that he can sin and not feel guilty. Even going so far to dilute the scriptures concerning a sexual relationship between two men. Calling what is obviously sin, GOOD. That's what a person who isn't saved does. A sinner says what is good is evil, and evil is good. But a believer, one who is sealed unto the day of redemption has this difference. They agree with God about their sin. ............................................................................... I quit smoking years ago. But when I was being convicted of it I still loved cigarettes! I know that this thought came from God, I can't take any credit for it, but for a while I thought it was me, it wasn't. The "idea" I had was to tell God that I love my sin! That's being honest isn't! ( God I love my sin and I know you want me to quit smoking but I can't! But I want to say to you God that I agree with you concerning this sin, and I don't know how you will do it, but I want whatever you want concerning this in my life ) Acknowledging the truth about you to God is a good place to start. Just be honest with him. If you love you sin stop pretending like you don't when you pray and just be honest about it! But a person is saved on the day that God reaches down and makes their heart alive enough to see the beauty of the Gospel and to believe it! All the rest of this is father of lies dragging Christians over hot coals because they keep sinning. If your a believer and you sin your going to get confused about your salvation! And the father of lies is going to place many walls in your way, and you'll get even more confused! Hell I still get confused, obviously I still got some things to put down, it's why I'm watching this video anyways! But everything that has been written here didn't come from me. I couldn't articulate salvation as well if asked yesterday! .................................................................................................................... To the man who made this video, Thank you! On more than one occasion I've watched your videos to help right my ship. Appreciate it so much!
I know I am going to heaven because of my belief in the redemptive work of what Christ did on the cross for me and for the whole world. I know I am a sinner and I will be a sinner until the day of redemption (Rapture) or my death, that I am sure of. There is no confusion over that. God bless you. :)
You might want to cover the difference between the different kingdoms, kingdom of heaven, kingdom of the Lord, kingdom of God etc, as they each have contextual meaning for the subject at hand.
I think that the Holy Spirit does not enable your flesh to live right, being born again does not effect how your flesh lives. When the Bible lists the fruits of the Spirit in Galatians, one can easily see that unbelievers produce some of those fruits. This verse in Romans 8: "But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his." This verse is referring to the new creature always being in the Spirit.
The Holy Spirit gives you new desires enabling and giving you the freedom to produce more fruits or works of the Spirit. That’s the difference. Unbelievers may produce some fruits but that is because Gods law is written on all of our consciences. That’s why someone feels guilty for lying even if they aren’t a believer. However an unbeliever won’t have the full freedom to be led by the spirit
@@AshtasticAcrobat The Holy Spirit does not give saved people new desires. Romans 12:9 says - "Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good." There would be no reason for Paul to tell believers to hate evil if the Holy Spirit caused all believers to hate evil. So the Holy Spirit does not give anyone new desires in this life. When we have glorified bodies, we'll never sin again, but that is future.
@@michaelc7418That's not true. The Holy Ghost gives you the POWER and the GRACE to live HOLY and RIGHTEOUSLY in this PRESENT WORLD, in your MORTAL FLESH, not just after you die. That is a myth. We live HOLY unto Christ in this life and the life to come. Titus 2:11-14 (KJV) For the GRACE of GOD that BRINGETH SALVATION hath appeared to all men, TEACHING US that, DENYING UNGODLINESS and WORLDLY LUSTS, we should live SOBERLY, RIGHTEOUSLY, and GODLY, in this PRESENT WORLD; LOOKING for that blessed HOPE, and the GLORIOUS APPEARING of the GREAT GOD and our SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST; Who gave himself for us, that he might REDEEM US from ALL INIQUITY, and PURIFY unto himself a peculiar people, ZEALOUS of GOOD WORKS. Romans 6:12 (KJV) Let not SIN therefore reign in your MORTAL BODY, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 2 Corinthians 4:11 (KJV) For we which LIVE are alway DELIVERED UNTO DEATH for Jesus' sake, that the LIFE also of Jesus might be made MANIFEST in OUR MORTAL FLESH. Luke 9:23-25 (KJV) And he said to them all, If ANY MAN will come after me, let him DENY HIMSELF, and TAKE UP HIS CROSS DAILY, and follow me. For whosoever will SAVE HIS LIFE SHALL LOSE IT: but WHOSOEVER WILL LOSE HIS LIFE for MY SAKE, the same SHALL SAVE IT. For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and LOSE HIMSELF, or be CAST AWAY? Despite what you think, SALVATION is CONDITIONAL. Romans 12:1-2 (KJV) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye PRESENT YOUR BODIES a LIVING SACRIFICE, HOLY, ACCEPTABLE unto GOD, which is your REASONABLE SERVICE. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the RENEWING OF YOUR MIND, that ye may PROVE what is that GOOD, and ACCEPTABLE, and PERFECT, WILL OF GOD. 1 Corinthians 15:31 (KJV) I PROTEST by your REJOICING which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I DIE DAILY. Do you believe Paul's writings when it comes to these matters?
@@tekone11 Paul says in Romans 3:19-28 and Romans 9:29-10:7 that we are justified and counted as righteous by faith without keeping the law. Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believes. It is obvious you are teaching a false law-based salvation by saying salvation is conditional and then implying that we must present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God in order to be saved. That is in no way what Paul is saying in that Bible passage. He is simply encouraging believers how they ought to live after having been eternally saved. Titus 2:11-14 is about how the Grace of God teaches us that we SHOULD live soberly, righteously, and Godly in this present world; but that is in no way guaranteed for every believer because like I said, there would be no reason for Paul to tell believers to hate evil like he does in Romans 12:9 if all believers already hated evil. That absolutely proves that eternally saved believers can love to commit evil still, because our bodies are evil. 1 Corinthians 15:50-57 talks about how flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God, neither does corruption inherit incorruption. In the future, God will change every saved person's evil body to be a glorious body like his that never sins.
@@michaelc7418 That's false doctrine. Who said anything about keeping the law. The nature of GOD is to HATE EVIL. Do you love evil? Psalms 97:10 (KJV) Ye that LOVE the LORD, HATE EVIL: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. Proverbs 8:13 (KJV) The fear of the LORD is to HATE EVIL: pride, and arrogancy, and the EVIL WAY, and the froward mouth, DO I HATE. Amos 5:15 (KJV) HATE the EVIL, and LOVE the GOOD, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph. Jesus said I AM the RESURRECTION NOW not at the end of the world like Martha, Mary and apparently yourself believe. Paul said the same thing in Romans 6 and John also said it in 1 John 3, so just because you don't believe the scriptures don't contradict the scriptures. Romans 6:4-7 (KJV) Therefore we are buried with him by BAPTISM into DEATH: that LIKE as CHRIST was raised up FROM THE DEAD by the glory of the Father, EVEN SO WE ALSO should WALK in NEWNESS of LIFE. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the LIKENESS of HIS RESURRECTION: Knowing this, that OUR OLD MAN is CRUCIFIED with HIM, that the BODY OF SIN might be DESTROYED, that henceforth WE SHOULD NOT SERVE SIN. For he that is dead is FREED FROM SIN. 1 John 3:2 (KJV) Beloved, NOW are WE the SONS of GOD, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, WE SHALL BE LIKE HIM; for we shall see him as he is. You need to have more FAITH IN CHRIST than in your own shortcomings. AND WHY DO YOU THINK PAUL SAID I DIE DAILY?
Great teaching. Just one point, so is this passage saying that these believers Paul is referring to are living active sinful lifestyles such as those he lists? Or Is Paul Saying that these lifestyles are not how they are currently living? Also, I believe your saying that believers can fall into instances of sin, but don’t live out fully day by day sinful practices such as being transgender.
Thank you for that response. So to clarify, say you have a practicing homosexual, who when confronted by a Christian, would claim that Jesus made them gay and that God accepts them as gay and feels no need to change. Would this have to be an unsaved, lost Christian who isn’t truly born again? Then the true Christian could be someone who is falling into homosexual sin but understands it’s wrong and is trying to change. Please clarity if you may. Thank you very much. This has been troubling me.
Thank you so very much Clay! This was so helpful. You should honestly consider discipleship. You went into great detail that I haven’t seen many preachers or Pastorals address.
@@clayburnett6530 Amen! That was a riveting explanation! It did unclog my understanding from some difficulties I've met while studying the Word of God. May God Bless you!
I have a few questions and would really appreciate if you could answer them! 1. Would you say this is a historical view of scripture? (Differing from something like Mormonism, or any idea that has no root in church history) 2. Do you identify with a specific denomination? 3. Is there anyone in the scholarly scene (well respected, involved in debates, might have some books) that you look to for your views?
Great channel brother. One of the few on YT presenting the true Gospel. 🙏🏻 I believe the best way to answer this matter is to compare Scripture with Scripture and to rightly divide the word... "Shall not inherit the kingdom" is not speaking of salvation. The Apostle Paul is speaking to saved people about being denied an inheritance if a Christian continuously commits those sins. 2 Timothy 2:12-13 King James Version 12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: 13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. There's a Christian being denied a reign with Christ. Yet he's still saved because he's in Christ, and Christ cannot deny Himself. Colossians 3:24 King James Version 24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the "reward of the inheritance:" for ye "serve" the Lord Christ. In that verse, the inheritance is a "reward" for service. Salvation is not a reward, it's a free gift. 🙏🏻
Sorry to bother again, my big question here is why does Paul warn Christians (other translations say “I warn you”) that those who do the things of the flesh will not inherit de Kingdom of God. It is a warning like I warn you not to exceed the speed limit because those who do that will get a fine. He says this to Christians not just as an information but as a warning , why?
Great question! There is nothing "fine" with sinning. In fact, sin can destroy people's lives. In addition, like any good father, God chastises his children who disobey him in this life. We are called to live holy lives. Doing so, however, is not what saves us...accepting the free gift of Christ's sacrifice is. All the other stuff, the "good works" we are indeed called to, will earn us additional rewards in eternity. Which is why we are told to "store up for yourselves treasures in heaven" (Matthew 6:20). Take care.
Also...the flesh cannot inherit the kingdom. Thankfully, once born again, we have our spiritual nature- this perfect nature is what enters into heaven.
The Greek never says "shall", no offense brother, King James had 12 guidelines in his translation, one was to paint God in a harsher light. I advise the body of Christ to test all things hold fast what is True, and Study some hermeneutics. It's a legalistic translation that makes God a liar. All those hell testimonies are from "the god of this age" who is a messenger of light, a god of light. "If you have fear of punishment, you have not been perfected in Love". The Body needs peace, thank you brother for providing that. God bless you
Great comment sir I've read the KJV and it's definitely the best we got but they're are errors throughout the text that if ok would just do a little extra studying they would see this some Bibles do offer a better understanding of some Greek words but they still scheming too unfortunately like for example the word Easter in the KJV it's actually passover which was the word they used the other 29 times the word was used lol God ain't ace scheming but unfortunately some men are and like you said it's our job to dig a little deeper
Here's a reference to a believer in gross immorality that should make us all both tremble at the consequences of gratifying the sinful nature and rejoice in the assurance of His salvation. 'To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.'
Position is a good way to put it but some believers don't see it that way. Paul said brethren because these people were already saved but the others need to believe.
Galatians 5:19-21 explained: The audience being adressed is the fellow brethrine, he states we are not the children of the bond woman but we sre free, refering to the fact there saved by faith in jesus christ. paul compels the saved to stand fast therefore in the liberty where christ hath made them free and he encorages them to use not liberty as an occasion by the flesh, and he encourages them to walk in the spirit, because we all know we are sealed by holy spirit until the day of redemption. In romans 8:9 it shows us believers have the spirit of christ, and unbelivers are in the flesh, at the moment of salvation believers are given the holy spirit by God, a believer has two natures, Flesh and spirit, the flesh and the spirit are contrary to one another so that ye can not do the things you would or want. paul describes this constant struggle between his flesh and spirit in Romans Chapter 7. Our flesh is corrupted, but pauls point is that if we are in dwelt with the holy spirit through fauth in jesus christ, if we are washed , sanctified and justified in the name of the lord jesus if we have believed on jesus christ. Pauls hope in this passage is that through the understanding in christ, we as believers , saved , we are provoked to walk accordingly. But we sre saved regardless because Jesus have paid for our sins ! .
I understand that the vast majority believe the inheritance spoken of in Galatians 5:19-21 (KJV) is salvation. But these verses appear to say that this inheritance is not speaking of salvation, but of rewards, and a reign with Christ... Colossians 3:24 King James Version 24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the "reward" of the inheritance: for ye "serve" the Lord Christ. Salvation is not a reward, but a free gift. 2 Timothy 2:12-13 King James Version 12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: 13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. In verse 12, Jesus is denying someone a reign with Him, because they're not serving Him. We know that He's not speaking about denying someone salvation because of verse 13.

After watching your videos,,, just found that sometimes Robert breaker makes mistakes.... So recently I have been watching your videos....

I hold fast to Philippians 1:6
I pray Jesus will keep me kept and not let me go and that God will restore me and renew my mind, keeping me from sin.
Believe only on him
Yes, after being saved, if we are feeling tempted to sin, pray for help and strength not to. And of course, we shouldn't make a habit of sinning.

He came down to earth to teach you love, and to demonstrate His love for you, in that *even when we were His ENEMIES, He died for us*
Read that again. Even in your darkest sins, God looked down on you in love. He just wants you to admit you're sinful, try and do your best, love Him and your neighbors, and *TRUST THAT NOTHING CAN SNATCH YOU FROM HIS HAND* ,
just as he said.
The more i listen to your videos the more it’s all starting to make sense 🙏🏽

Did you notice that passage said nothing about losing your salvation and was talking about righteousness and faith going together.

@@therealgodd-l4u No, I'm pretty sure those verses are taken out of context as they usually are, APPEARING to seem like you need actions to be saved, but in reality it means something else entirely.
Unfortunately, the 'Christian' churches today take things out of context a lot, which is why people like Onorato, Renee Roland etc. help to at least explain some of those verses that are out of context, to be explained properly for babes in Christ who don't know much yet.
@@therealgodd-l4u Don't worry bud, all of us suffer from doubt, even I till this day still suffer.
But if this helps you, a mindset I usually have whenever I have that condemning thought are the following:

"If God said no one shall take us out of his hands, then why do I think I have the power to remove myself from an almighty God's hand? am I more powerful then He is?"
"I'm such a bad person... I hate myself, I sin so much....... but wait! Jesus died EXACTLY for people like ME, he died for me even though I wasn't even BORN yet! He died for me even when I was still his ENEMY, what more now that I am apart of His family?"

Amen! Straight to the point.
i love your account!!! because many people don’t have knowledge and CONTEXT to the bible
Sadly church inverts the whole teaching into lawlessness/anti-nomianism
"If you want to enter into life, KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS" - Jesus
"Here is the patience of the saints, those who KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS" - Revelation
Do you still sin?

Amen Brother Ono Well Explained Thank You Brother For Teaching The True Teachings!!!
Amen Brother. First John 1:8 If we say we have no sin, WE ARE DECEIVED and the truth is not in us. We are all sinners to a degree because we cannot be made perfect in the flesh, only in the Spirit.
But, the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience. Colossians 3:5-6. Those that are the children of God living in those sins may be chastened by the Lord. We still reap what we sow after we are born again. Ephesians 1:13-14. Our guarantee of eternal life.
There are rewards in heaven for the faithful in Christ Jesus. First Corinthians 3:11-15. If all of our works are burned up we are still saved so as by fire. Only our rewards in heaven can be lost, never eternal life.
There are two judgements in heaven. The judgement seat of Christ for the believers rewards, and the great white throne for unbelievers who will be judged by the law and found guilty and cast into hell.
John 3:18 Believers can no longer be condemned, but unbelievers are condemned already because they have not believed on the name of the Son of God. OSAS John 6:47. God cannot lie.
One of my favorite verses in the bible. First John 5:13. These things have I written unto you that BELIEVE on the name of the Son of God, that ye may KNOW YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. John 10:28-29. Hebrews 13:5 He will never leave us or forsake us. He will never cast us out. Jesus has never lost one sheep. John 6:39.
Yep. Matthew 7:21-23. If we are not knowned by Him, we are not saved. God knows who has believed, and who has not. John 3:18. Romans 1:16. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, (First Corinthians 15:1-4,) For it is the POWER of God, unto salvation to everyone that BELIEVETH, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek
First Corinthians 1:18 and 1:21. You are either saved forever, or you are not saved at all.
I have eternal life. I cannot lose it because it is eternal life. Not temporary life, or probationary life. John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me HATH EVERLASTING LIFE. Gods word, and he cannot lie.
It is His promise to us. Romans 6:23. For the penalty for sin is death, but the GIFT of God is ETERNAL LIFE, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Have you received the free gift? I have.
John 3:16-18. You either have believed it, and are saved forever, or not saved at all. John 6:40. Ephesians 1:13-14. Ephesians 4:30. God saves those who believe His word. John 5:24.
Romans 6:23 For the penalty for sin is death, BUT THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE, THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.
It cost Jesus everything. Not us. He paid the debt of sin we owe God, so we can never be condemned again. John 3:18. First John 5:13. These things have I written unto you that BELIEVE on the name of the Son of God, that ye may KNOW YE HAVE ETENAL LIFE.
John 10:28-29.
John 6:39. Jesus has never lost one sheep. Hebrews 13:5. He will never leave us or forsake us. He will never cast us out. John 6:37. John 3:18. Believers can no longer be condemned, but unbelievers are condemned already because they have not believed on the name of the Son of God. First John 5:13. John 6:47. Gods word, and He cannot lie.
Romans 6:23 For the penalty for sin is death, but, (the good news) The GIFT of God is eternal life, through Jesus finished work on the cross plus nothing. I recieved the gift of God 76 years ago, and I still have it because it is eternal life, not probationary life or temporary life.
IF we could be saved by works then Jesus died in vain. Romans 11:6. Romans 4:5.

(Paraphrasing)
Sin is sin, regardless of what it is. Known and unknown; thought, word and deed. Romans 7 and 8 puts to rest this idea of needing to stop sinning completely to be saved. Christ paid the debt for all sins, your flesh is inherently sinful, your flesh serves the law of sin but your mind the law of God.
@@KEMAP75 There will be people in heaven you would scoff at on earth and think you're better then them. We all have a sinful fleshly nature and thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!

Well said. We have more responsibility than we realize.
@@Austin_Bennett77 Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”
Actually, the reason why so many will be rejected by Christ is because they trusted in their own works to save themselves, instead of his completed work on the cross. The price for your sins, your propitiation was completed when Christ proclaimed “It is finished” on the cross. Read Romans 5 to understand.
Acts 20:28 tells us, “Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood”
It seems you are arguing that if God is fully responsible for our salvation, then he is also responsible for sending people to hell.

I've got some bad news for you. You cannot do good enough to enter heaven, it is impossible. There's only one way to get to heaven, I'll let you take a guess as to what that is.
We are saved by faith alone and not by our works, or good deeds, or checking every box, or being perfect. We could never do enough of those things to please God that’s why the Bible stresses over and over to place your faith in Him and place no other gods or idols before Him. .........................................................................
But I want to say to you God that I agree with you concerning this sin, and I don't know how you will do it, but I want whatever you want concerning this in my life )
Acknowledging the truth about you to God is a good place to start.

To the man who made this video, Thank you! On more than one occasion I've watched your videos to help right my ship. Appreciate it so much!
Can you give me an example of hidden sins that we have in us? No one is free from making mistakes even after being born again.

Titus 2:11-14 (KJV) For the GRACE of GOD that BRINGETH SALVATION hath appeared to all men,
TEACHING US that, DENYING UNGODLINESS and WORLDLY LUSTS, we should live SOBERLY, RIGHTEOUSLY, and GODLY, in this PRESENT WORLD;
LOOKING for that blessed HOPE, and the GLORIOUS APPEARING of the GREAT GOD and our SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST;
Who gave himself for us, that he might REDEEM US from ALL INIQUITY, and PURIFY unto himself a peculiar people, ZEALOUS of GOOD WORKS.
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the LIKENESS of HIS RESURRECTION:
Knowing this, that OUR OLD MAN is CRUCIFIED with HIM, that the BODY OF SIN might be DESTROYED, that henceforth WE SHOULD NOT SERVE SIN.
Or Is Paul
Saying that these lifestyles are not how they are currently living?
Would you say that you hold to the classical reformed view ?
I have a few questions and would really appreciate if you could answer them!
1. Would you say this is a historical view of scripture? (Differing from something like Mormonism, or any idea that has no root in church history)
2. Do you identify with a specific denomination?
3. Is there anyone in the scholarly scene (well respected, involved in debates, might have some books) that you look to for your views?
Free grace alliance and grace evangelical society and chafer is a good start.

Hey! Could You please tell where I can find audio Bible verses like those in 0:19? Thank You
Search for Scourby Bible. That's the name of the narrator.
Great channel brother. One of the few on YT presenting the true Gospel. 🙏🏻
I believe the best way to answer this matter is to compare Scripture with Scripture and to rightly divide the word...
"Shall not inherit the kingdom" is not speaking of salvation. The Apostle Paul is speaking to saved people about being denied an inheritance if a Christian continuously commits those sins.
2 Timothy 2:12-13
King James Version
12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
There's a Christian being denied a reign with Christ. Yet he's still saved because he's in Christ, and Christ cannot deny Himself.
Colossians 3:24
King James Version
24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the "reward of the inheritance:" for ye "serve" the Lord Christ.
In that verse, the inheritance is a "reward" for service. Salvation is not a reward, it's a free gift. 🙏🏻
Great Teaching... What Audio Bible Is Being Used?
Please make a video from crucifixion to rapture and till white throne judgement... Please explain with images and drawings...
That sounds like the Scourby recording I listen to in my car.
Amen. Maranatha
In verse 21 it says if u do such things u shall not inherit the kigdom of heaven. Pls exspain this bc it says if u do such things...help! 🥴
I’m still trying to understand this too
Can you do a response to David Servant’s work?
So if we are tempted, we should pray and repent from that sin so we dont commit the sin?
God bless u. Appreciate this.🥹🙏🏻
The Greek never says "shall", no offense brother, King James had 12 guidelines in his translation, one was to paint God in a harsher light.
John 14:16-17, John 10:26-30, Romans 11:29 Romans 8:28-31 The gifts and CALLING of God are IRREVOCABLE!
Onorato, I like it better when you are "reading" the scriptures.
Please explain 1 john 3:9. Later John says if anyone doesn't sin say they are liar

Please talk about Calvinism , especially saying some never had a chance to believe.
Sir, is inheriting the kingdom of GOD the same as salvation?
This is difficult for many Christians to understand for some reason.
Why is it, if you have the holy spirit, that the flesh in many situations is still stronger then the spirit of God?
Whichever one you feed the most
Position is a good way to put it but some believers don't see it that way.
But we sre saved regardless because Jesus have paid for our sins ! .
Amen

I understand that the vast majority believe the inheritance spoken of in Galatians 5:19-21 (KJV) is salvation. But these verses appear to say that this inheritance is not speaking of salvation, but of rewards, and a reign with Christ...
Colossians 3:24
King James Version
24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the "reward" of the inheritance: for ye "serve" the Lord Christ.
Salvation is not a reward, but a free gift.
2 Timothy 2:12-13
King James Version
12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
In verse 12, Jesus is denying someone a reign with Him, because they're not serving Him. We know that He's not speaking about denying someone salvation because of verse 13.
so flesh refers to what we do in this human body while walking in the Spirit refers to walking with Christ...?
