No matter how many times you repeat two words out of context in a passage like you're talking to 5 year olds, doesn't change the fact that you're dangerously spreading a false doctrine. Believing on Christ means holding God's law. One cannot just believe in Jesus and then do what they want and then get into Heaven. Anyone with a brain cell and a Bible can figure that out pretty quick.

We are saved by Grace of God alone! his teaching the right true doctrine based on the bible❤

At the end of this video you said "once you are saved you are always saved".
Sam was once a Protestant like you,he once believed in "once saved always saved".
Why would you want him to repent if he is saved?
You said "once known always known".
According to your belief Sam is saved and does not need repenting so why do you want him to repent?
I recently discovered your channel and i really like what i saw in your other video against Sam but when i heard you saying once saved always saved i cannot believe anything you say anymore

Watch out for assuming that merely saying you believe in Christ is enough. It's important to clarify what truly believing in Christ means. A couple of months ago, I asked my dad if he believed in Jesus Christ, and he said yes. But when I pressed further and asked if he believed that Jesus died for his sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day for him, my dad admitted he doesn't believe any of that. So the question is: is he saved? The answer is clearly no. To believe in Jesus Christ means to place your complete trust in His death, burial, and resurrection for your total salvation, with no additions or subtractions. Believing in Christ is about trusting in what He accomplished for you on the cross, which is His death, burial, and resurrection. You gotta explain the word “BELIEVE IN CHRIST” means.

Sam skips right over what the "will of the Father" means. He implies it means "to follow the Law." He doesn't even attempt to prove this claim. He bullies the man he's arguing with so that he doesn't even ask about it. Sam is a smart man, but also a proud man. I pray that his pride will not prevent him from seeing the truth of the gospel.

      @OnoDiamante  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +106

@@harveygosal It relates in the sense that those in Matthew 25 also didn't do the will of the Father. The judgment of the sheep and the goats highlights the collective commendation of believers and the collective condemnation of unbelievers. Due to our standing, believers can only be commended, and unbelievers can only be condemned. Christ says unto the goats, "Depart from me," which parallels perfectly with Matthew 7:21-23. The goats never did the will of the Father, as defined in John 6:40; therefore, they were never saved. That doesn't substantiate your position.

The only reason anybody will enter Heaven, is that they possess Eternal Life.
The only reason anybody will be cast into the Lake of Fire, is that they do NOT possess Eternal Life.
"And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." Revelation 20: 12-15
"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." 1 John 5:13
Believe on the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ.. Everlasting/Eternal Life is in HIM. Place your faith on HIM.. God is True.. every other way is a lie, leading unto death. God made simple, plain and clear how Man MUST be saved. Believe His Gospel.

      King James Version
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
I think we can agree there are no contradictions in God's word, for God is not a liar. There is no sin in Him.
Therefor we can conclude that if there seems to be a contradiction it's actually our own understanding that is flawed.
Salvation cannot be by works and ill show the verses. They are very clear. The other verses that seem to point to works would contradict so we must know that our understanding is flawed somewhere if we think we see a contradiction.. this is so important.

      1 John 5:4-5
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
The Book of life is a record of everyone who has ever lived, once we are saved by faith we can never be blotted out. If a person never gets saved, their name will be blotted out.

    • @kromero3868
      @kromero3868 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

There is a distinction between the "book of the living" mentioned in the Old Testament and the "Book of Life" referenced in the New Testament.
Book of the Living: In the Old Testament, the "book of the living" is often understood as a metaphorical register of those who are alive on earth. For example, in Psalm 69:28, when David speaks of his enemies being blotted out of the "book of the living," it is a plea for justice and can imply a desire for their physical death or removal from the community of the living. This concept is more about temporal life and judgment.
Book of Life: In the New Testament, the "Book of Life" is associated with eternal life and salvation through Jesus Christ. It contains the names of those who have eternal life because of their faith in Christ. Revelation 3:5 assures believers that their names will never be erased from the Book of Life, emphasizing the security and permanence of their salvation. This book is about eternal destiny and the assurance of being with God forever.
The New Testament focus is on the assurance and security of believers' salvation, highlighting that those who are in Christ are eternally secure and will not be blotted out from the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3, Revelation 20:15).

The person being cast into this outer darkness is not being punished because he did not accomplish enough for the master. He's not being damned for his disobedience. Rather, his actions prove he's not a true servant at all: he's a pretender. When the master gave him a talent, he blatantly refused to use it, and made derogatory excuses (Matthew 25:24-25). In a sense, the lazy man is not losing his servanthood; he's proving he never really had it in the first place. As a result, he'll be rejected by the master.@@Jason-Austin

Deny yourself means you don’t get credit for doing God’s work, that’s called obedience, it means deny your fleshly desires.
Pick up your cross is work, do you think Jesus had an easy time carrying his? No, it’s work!
And follow him, Jesus healed the sick, he fed people.
“Saved by grace alone, so that no one can brag.” Well anything good about you, or that you do, is his credit. The only thing we can take credit for is our disobedience, that’s called repentance. We can never brag because that’s pride. That doesn’t mean we get a free pass to sit on our butts and do nothing but have faith. “Faith without works is dead.”
We were hired to work in the Lords vineyard, are you just going to stand around and do nothing “The Lord is gracious and did all the work so that no one can brag, I have faith that he will pay me.” Do not deceive yourself folks. Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.

You know.. you can either interpret the Will of the Father, by your own understanding.. or you can disregard your own understanding and take John 6: 40 at face value.
If it is established that God is NOT the author of confusion, does NOT contradict Himself ever.. and CANNOT lie.. interpreting the Will of the Father to be obeying commandments, or DOING anything beyond what is declared as such in John 6: 40 clearly shows UNBELIEF. These people then develop this pride, that they believe God doesn't speak purely.. plainly.. clearly.. that THEY are so wise, that THEY understand what God REALLY means.
The moment someone redefines words such as believe.. faith.. it shows they cannot accept the truth. If I say "The truck is red" and you say you believe, yet think "red" here means "brown".. that says you do not believe, yet lie to yourself and others.
These people are so blind in their unbelief, they actually think God sent His Son to die so that we simply follow statutes. That is Good news to them.. rendering Christ's completed work as vanity and pointless. They might as well call themselves the Circumcision.

I married an ex-Muslim, who is now agnostic, so I had a vested interest in learning more about this topic. In one of his videos though, Sam said something to the effect of “to all you Protestants, get back to the ONE TRUE CHURCH asap, because there is no Salvation outside of the Catholic Church”. True. Christ is the Author and the Finisher of our Salvation. We have no part or contribution in it. What we do is to walk in the newness of life, in light of the Salvation we have already received, which is a lifelong process, with its ups and downs. But God is merciful, good and faithful, never to leave us, and should we backslide, He will chasten us so that we bear the fruit of righteousness, as Paul wrote

“Why do you call me Lord, Lord and do not what I say.” (Luke 6:46) What does it mean to "believe in the Son". It means to truly believe what he said and taught. That is the will of the Father. What did Christ teach?
Go back and read Matthew 19:16-21. And there it is in the Lord’s very words. Keeping God's commandments and following Him. Are you having a hard time believing in what he said? If so, then you don't believe him and your faith is in vain.
What is the patience of the saints which echo's Matthew 19:16:21 as it is written:
“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” (Rev. 14:12)
The teaching of the OT and NT summed up in one simple sentence: “If you love me, you will obey my commandments”. (John 14:15)
A major theological phrase that emerged from the Protestant Revolution five centuries ago was solo fide-“by faith alone.” The Catholic monk Martin Luther strongly opposed certain unbiblical and corrupt teachings and practices of the Roman Catholic church he was part of, particularly the sale of “indulgences” based on the idea that people could, by deeds (works) such as financial payments, gifts or service to the church, lessen their or their loved ones’ punishment in a supposed “purgatory” in the afterlife. He condemned these sales as a deceitful means to filling the coffers of the church and its leaders.
Luther’s goal was well intended - to reform the Catholic Church. Luther’s protests in time spawned the Protestant Reformation-a protest movement that did lead to reform, albeit principally through the rise of many new Protestant churches where previously there had been one major dominant and universal (the meaning of “catholic”) church.
Luther’s catchphrase solo fide, “by faith alone,” summed up his opposition to not only practices such as the sale of indulgences and the notion that people could effectively buy their way into heavenly salvation, but even the idea that any kind of works were required for salvation, including obedience to God’s law. This was the biggest mistake he ever made as obedience to God’s law by faith is the core teaching of the Bible - If you love me, you will obey my commandments” (John 14:15). The entire teaching of the OT and NT summed up by Christ in one simple sentence. The simplicity that is Christ. No bible scholarship needed!
Luther insisted that faith alone was required for salvation-adding “alone” even though this idea appeared nowhere in the Bible (he added to God’s word which is forbidden- yet another grave mistake, Prov. 30:5-6). He read this idea back into the apostle Paul’s writings ignoring what Paul’s words had meant to his original first-century audience. In fact, the book of James explicitly states that “a person is justified [made right with God] by works and NOT BY FAITH ALONE” (James 2:24, CSB)-and for this Luther called it “an epistle of straw” and argued the Book of James should be removed from the Bible! To think Luther actually wanted to remove the word of God as it didn’t line up with his own beliefs, but then again that is typical Catholic theology. He didn’t believe what the half-brother of our Lord said nor did he believe what Christ said either for it is written:
“And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to HIS WORK.” (Rev. 22:12)
In battling the wrong idea of earning salvation in one of its worst manifestations, Luther and those who took up his cause landed in the opposite end of the ditch (as Christ foretold if the blind led the blind). Thus, out of the Protestant Reformation emerged the unbiblical idea that grace is the opposite of law and law is the opposite of grace. In reality, the opposite of law isn’t grace but lawlessness-and the opposite of grace isn’t law but disgrace. We must always read the Bible carefully and not jump to conclusions not supported by Scripture!
Misreading “by grace you have been saved through faith”
Where did these misguided views of Luther and other Protestant Reformers come from? In part they come from misunderstanding Ephesians 2:8-9, which reads: “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that NOT OF YOURSELVES; it is the GIFT of God, not of WORKS, lest anyone should boast.”
These reformers saw this passage as proof that salvation comes by grace through faith and not by works-thus Luther’s formulation of solo fide, or “faith alone.” But like all failed Bible scholars do, they cherry picked the verse to make it line up with their own belief. They should have continued reading a little further, as Paul explains in the very next verse: “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for GOOD WORKS, which God PREPARED BEFOREHAND that we should WALK IN THEM” (verse 10)-that is, as noted earlier, “to be our WAY of life” (NRSV).
So what “good works” did God create beforehand? Let’s read what this means as it is written in Psalm 111:
    “Great are the WORKS of the LORD;
THEY ARE STUDIED by all who delight in them.” (Psa. 111:2). What “works” were studied?
Now go read Psalm 119 all of it. David wrote it as he was recognized in this way as it is written:
“After He had removed him, He raised up David to be their king, concerning whom He also testified and said, ‘I have found David, the son of Jesse, a MAN AFTER MY HEART, WHO WILL DO ALL MY WILL.’ (Acts 13:22)
Oh look! There goes the will of the Father again! That’s right! Christ is the personification of the spiritual law, the 10 Commandments. That is why Christ is called, “the stone that the builders rejected” and "the Way".
If you read the scripture correctly (go back and read it again), we are not saved by our OWN works. Nothing that we can or might do of ourselves, including acts of obedience to God’s law, could ever earn God’s gift of grace (the Holy Spirit, Acts 2:38). It is faith in Christ which means actually believing in what He said.
I personally tried keeping God’s laws without the Holy Spirit and failed miserably! Once God gave me the gift of his Spirit, I fully understood the importance of keeping God’s holy and sacred laws, the very laws by which he will judge humanity and rule his kingdom. One can never do that of themselves, only God can - still can’t see? Christ said the Holy Spirit would convict us of sin. What is sin? Breaking God's laws (1 John 3:4-6).
The laws of the Lord are spiritual (Rom. 7:14). The laws are “HOLY, RIGHT and GOOD” (Rom. 7:12). Only God’s Holy Spirit can understand the very character of God, righteousness; his royal laws (Psa. 119:172), the perfect embodiment of Christ. Our own human nature without the Holy Spirit can’t understand or obey the laws of God - it can’t and it won’t (Rom 8:7). It’s impossible!
So rather than saying good works are unnecessary for a Christian, Paul emphatically states that good works are a necessary part of a Christian’s life! This is what Christ taught: Obedience to God’s laws as he was, get this, a sinless man all the way to his death. We are to live just as Christ did (1 John 2:6) all the way to death or until his glorious and mighty return.
What Paul is telling us here is that “by grace”-by God’s merciful forgiveness of our sins for which we deserved the death penalty (Romans 6:23)-we “have been saved through faith”. Once we have truly repented and have died to sin with Christ on our own cross, we are given the Holy Spirit, his gift, the gift of grace, the Spirit of Christ! Nothing you could do of yourself! What do you think Christ died for anyway? Sin, the breaking of God’s law (1 John 3:4). Again, we are supposed to live just like he did (1 John 2:6). That my friend is the whole point.
“Only he who believes is obedient; only he who is obedient believes.” -Pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer, executed by the Nazis during WWII.
Bottom Line: Salvation is not the reward for obedience. Salvation is the reason for obedience!
The problem with what is called “modern Christianity” is that most don’t believe what Christ said and taught. Sad. Christ said this as it is written: “A kingdom divided will not stand.” So where does this leave 45,000 different factions of Chrisitanity today who can’t agree on doctrine? It leaves them in Matt. 7:21-23.
Repent for the Kingdom of God is near!

@@thecrayoncop What I’m saying? Hardly! I only speak as the Spirit of God allows. The Spirit gives me the ability to point to the words that lead to life.
The bottom line, we are to STRIVE to be like our Lord and Master. Christ said we must endure until the end of our lives. It’s not a one and done upon conversion like so many believe. It’s a life long process. You are changing into the “new man”. Once saved, always saved, is a doctrine of demons, don’t be deceived by the world’s cheap grace.
The Bible teaches: “The one who sins is the one dies”. (Ezek. 18:20). It also teaches, “The wages of sin is death”. (Rom. 6:23)
Modern Christianity teaches cheap grace, but true grace is given once you have truly repented of sin and then receiving God’s gift, the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38). So the question you have to ask yourself is: Do I have the Holy Spirit?
Based on your response, it is clear you don’t. If you did, the Spirit would convict you of sin just like the Lord said and then you wouldn’t continue to sin. The Spirit will convict you to the point where you will continue to change your entire life and see that sin is really sinful so that you don’t continue in it. Believing in what Christ said and taught is faith.
Christ died for the sins of the world. What is sin? Breaking God's laws, the 10 Commandments, the spiritual laws (Rom 7:14) of His kingdom as it is written:
"EVERYONE WHO SINS IS BREAKING GOD’S LAW, for ALL SIN is contrary to the law of God. And you know that Jesus came to take away our sins, and there is no sin in him. Anyone who continues to LIVE in HIM WILL NOT SIN. But anyone who keeps on sinning DOES NOT KNOW HIM OR UNDERSTAND WHO HE IS." (1 John 3:4-6)
And to continuing in the same thought as it is written:
“Dear children, don’t let anyone deceive you about this: When people do what is right, it shows that they are righteous, even as Christ is righteous. But WHEN PEOPLE KEEP ON SINNING, it shows that THEY BELONG TO THE DEVIL, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil. Those who have been BORN into God’s family DO NOT MAKE A PRACTICE OF SINNING, because God’s life is in them. So THEY CAN’T KEEP ON SINNING, because they are children of God.
Here is an example of the world’s cheap grace: The world says: “Just call upon the name of the Lord, it's that simple”. Really?
What did the Lord, Jesus (Yeshua the Messiah) have to say about only calling on his name in his own words? As it is written:
“Not everyone who CALLS out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who ACTUALLY DO THE WILL OF MY FATHER in heaven will enter. On judgment day MANY WILL SAY TO ME, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ But I WILL REPLY, ‘I NEVER KNEW YOU. Get away from me, you who BREAK God’s laws.’ (Matt. 7:21-23).
It is clearly written by the apostle John to support Christ's statement of fact of John 14:15 as it is written:
"And we can be sure that we know him if WE OBEY HIS COMMANDMENTS. If someone claims, “I know God,” but DOEN'T OBEY God’s commandments, THAT PERSON IS A LIAR and is NOT LIVING IN THE TRUTH. But those WHO OBEY God’s word truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are living in him. Those who say they live in God SHOULD LIVE THEIR LIVES AS JESUS DID." (1 John 2:3-6).
"We know we love God’s children if we love God and OBEY his commandments. Loving God MEANS keeping his commandments, and his commandments are not burdensome." (1 John 5:2-3).
So the next question becomes: Do you live your life just like Jesus (Yeshua) did? Do you honestly even try in everything you say and do?
Do you know that if you live your life just like Jesus (Yeshua) you will be hated and persecuted for it? Not by just the world, but those the closest to you (wife/kids/family/friends).
Are you enduring and rejoicing in your sufferings? If your answer is no, then you haven’t found the narrow gate. The Lord said this about the narrow gate as it is written:
“Go in through the narrow gate, because the gate to hell is wide and the road that leads to it is easy, and there are many who travel it. But THE GATE TO LIFE is narrow and THE WAY THAT LEADS TO IT IS HARD, and there are FEW PEOPLE WHO FIND IT” (Matt. 7:13-14).
Or are you travelling the wide gate just like the other 45,000 divided religious, man-made denominations created by men in the world today? The Bible teaches that Christ and his kingdom are not divided (1 Cor. 1:10, Matt. 12:25).
Seek the Lord in spirit and truth as God commands (John 4:24). Ask, seek and knock and He will give you the Spirit. Once you do have the Spirit, then he will teach you what is true and you will no longer have to relay on the teachings of failed theologians and their failed human wisdom as the Spirit will teach you everything (1 John 2:27).
And the truth can only do one thing for us: “set you free” (John 8:32)
I will pray that the Lord send you his Spirit.
Repent for the Kingdom of God is coming!

@averythompkins3682 This is my understanding, and it is critical for salvation.
Our works are like dirty rags, and they are not acceptable for the Lord.
This is why God gave us Jesus so his Beatitudes, Gospel, apostolic instructions will show us what Good works are, he is the gift of God.
We then start to obey his commandments, pray, worship, deny the world, and in return God gives us Grace and HIS works. We then are given grace and the Holy Spirit that works through our clay bodies doing not our works (for we don't boast) but the workmanship of the Lord. We are no longer under the Law in Jesus, because we walk in the Spirit so the old Law is no longer needed.

James 2:24 does not argue against salvation by faith alone. Rather, it argues against a salvation that is alone, a salvation devoid of good works and obedience to God’s Word. James’s point is that we demonstrate our faith by what we do (James 2:18). Regardless of the absence of the precise phrase “faith alone,” the New Testament definitely teaches that salvation is the product of God’s grace in response to our faith. “Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. On what principle? . . . On that of faith” (Romans 3:27). There is no other requirement.

For Paul, "justification by works" (which he rejects) means "gaining right standing with God by the merit of works." For James, "justification by works" (which he accepts) means "maintaining a right standing with God by faith along with the necessary evidence of faith, namely, the works of love."
When Paul teaches in Romans 4:5 that we are justified by faith alone, he means that the only thing that unites us to Christ for righteousness is dependence on Christ. When James says in James 2:24 that we are not justified by faith alone he means that the faith which justifies does not remain alone. These two positions are not contradictory. Faith alone unites us to Christ for righteousness, and the faith that unites us to Christ for righteousness does not remain alone. It bears the fruit of love. It must do so or it is dead, demon, useless faith and does not justify.
The glory of Christ in the gospel is not merely that we are justified when we depend entirely on Christ, but also that depending entirely on Christ is the power that makes us new, loving people. Depending entirely on Christ is how we are justified and how we are sanctified.

I think Protestants read the Scriptures like a buffet. They read what they want and say this proves the point. You referenced John 6:40, yet John 6:35 He says "I am the bread of life" then in John 6:51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I give is MY flesh for the life of the world. Wait so is John 6:40 the truth or is Jesus suddenly lying in John 6:51. What about Jesus lying in John 6:53 Jesus said to them. "AMEN, AMEN I say to use, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. 56 "whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him. ... but wait you said John 6:40 proves Sola Fida. Sola Fida is picking and choosing what the you (the individual not saying specifically to you the person, you meaning anyone) want and then rejecting what you don't want. Jesus doesn't work that way. I/You/everyone must accept ALL of Jesus. He is not a buffet. You (again, anyone) don't get to decided what parts of Jesus you can accept and what parts you can reject. Jesus says in John 13:34 "I give you a new commandment : love one another. As I have loved you, so you also should love one another. This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. 1 John 3:11 For this is the message you have heard from the beginning; we should love, 1 John 3:19-22. Sola Fida is all we need, but wait that is what Jesus said in John 3:5 -6, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. For Sola Fide, it doesn't just say born of spirit. It says WATER AND SPIRIT. Sola Fide, Mark 16:16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned. Jesus doesn't say believe and nothing else. He uses the word AND. Are we saved by God's GRACE, 100%, there is no disagreement. BUT, how do we receive that grace. Thru FAITH. again, 100%. That is what Ephesians 2:6-9... I don't get to choose Ephesians 2:6-9 or Romans 10:8-13 and disregard John 6, Mark 16:16, Matthew 7. They all have to fit together. You (again, anyone reading) accept ALL, you get a serving of everything! Sola Fide can NOT get around John 3:5-6 the AND. Mark 16:16 the word AND... Sola Fide is a a man made lie. It is NOT what Jesus taught. It is NOT what the Apostles taught. James, "Faith without Works is DEAD" you get a serving of that at the buffet. You (again, anyone reading this) needs to accept that. Why, did Martin Luther want to get rid of the book of James? He did not want the sheep to have any of that served up. To anyone who responses, you can quote any passage you want, but you are just proving my point of the buffet Jesus. God/Jesus/the Holy Spirit do NOT contradict themselves. So any passage you cite, as if it contradicts and trumps this passage; it doesn't work that way!

In biblical context, what does it mean to “believe?”
An individual who professes belief; “by their fruits, ye shall know them.”
In biblical context what does it mean to have “faith?”
An individual who professes faith; “by their fruits, ye shall know them.”
Fruit is not a reference to what is professed. A profession is a declaration. Fruit is what is produced not what is professed. The fruit that is produced can be seen. It is evident. Anyone can declare/profess anything. No one can completely hide what they produce. Ultimately it is evident.

Joh 6:28 ¶ Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
Mt 9:13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Heb 7:11 ¶ If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
Heb 7:19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.
Heb 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

At least not me. I sin every moment in my heart and mind. I only rest on the sacrifice of Jesus to be accepted in God's kingdom.
I also believe through my 'common sense' that if obidienc and other works are also the criteria for my acceptance into God's kingdom, then I am a failure.

This is a classic example of a straw man argument.
Those who are complacent in their faith often attempt to portray diligent, genuine followers of Christ in a negative light because of their own lethargy and disobedience.
They make absurd remarks like “boasting to Jesus” about obedience, seeking to associate a negative connotation with the genuine followers' commitment.
In reality, true followers don’t feel the need to boast about anything to Jesus. He has promised to be with us until the end, and God has assured us that He will reward genuine and obedient followers based on our efforts, as we are His fellow workers.
Refer to 1 Corinthians 3:8-9 for further insight.
It’s important to eliminate the straw man fallacy from your argument; no one is boasting to Jesus.
Remember, as stated in 1 Corinthians 4:9, angels are observing our actions.

This is my interpretation of "I NEVER KNEW YOU" i like to know your opinions of those who read my comment.
"I'm wondering if following the father's will means believing in Jesus, whom he sent. Wouldn't believing in Jesus mean obeying his teachings? The Pharisees and others didn't believe in Jesus as the Messiah, so they rejected his teachings. To me, believing in Jesus means following his teachings, which emphasize loving others and trusting in his sacrifice for forgiveness."
In my view, to avoid hearing "I never knew you," we need to understand how God knows us, as mentioned in 1 Corinthians 8:3 (KJV): "But if any man love God, the same is known of him." This verse suggests that loving God leads to being known by Him. Loving God, as explained in 1 John 5:3 (KJV), involves keeping His commandments: "For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous." Additionally, in John 13:34 (KJV), Jesus gives a new commandment to love one another as He has loved us. Therefore, in my view, to be recognized by God, we must love Him by obeying His commandments and love others as Jesus loved us.

The reason it condemns them is because they are using that to try to say that faith alone isn't what saves. But if you read what Jesus said in john "the will of he who sent me, is that whoever seeth the son, and believeth on him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day"
So according to Jesus, the will of the father is that you should believe on the son so that you will have eternal life.

The "works of the law," such as circumcision, and all sacrificial blood rites, are fulfilled and finished. Christ destroyed, "heaven and earth," AKA the temple complex. He brought down from heaven the New Jerusalem, instituting a hierarchy to teach and administer His Covenant. It is in Italy, near where Noah planted his vineyard.
He placed His gathered flock at many jerusalems ( sacerdotal fortified cities of peace). His called out ones became the Catholic Ecclesia. This occurred prior to the closing of the Canon.
There were so many perversions of the True Faith - as with the crestoi, gnosticism, judaism, hinduism, Islam, and protestantism, which took the dogma of Anti-christ Islam as their own. Prophet Luthifer told his guild synagogue circles (fake churches) not to hinder their invasion, but to give aid and comfort as they murdered the Catholic Ecclesia. They moved into the homes of those who made the high Catholic culture of Europe. Then they stole all the accumulated social care supplies from the parishes, and introduced pauperism.

Amen 🙏🏼 One of my favourite passages:
"Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
“Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men-extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’
And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’
I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”"

Faith without works is dead: that kills Sola Fide by itself.

How much added works needed? 1%, 20% 50% 99% what is enough? You will remain a sinner anyway.

The account of the thief on the cross would definitely debunk works based salvation

Question : The thief on the cross had no chance to be baptized , or to do good works. Yet Christ said TODAY you will be with in paradise

@@freegraceauI am a woman of God saved by God's Amazing grace. Jesus made a full atonement for sin. He is our propitiation (substitute) for our sins. I am clothed in the righteousness of Christ. John 5:24 "Verily verily,I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life"

It's not receiving Jesus, It's believing in Jesus...
      John 6:40 KJV:
And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

This verse is one of my favorites: “What shall we say, then? That Gentiles who did not pursue righteousness have attained it, that is, a righteousness that is by faith; but that Israel who pursued a law that would lead to righteousness did not succeed in reaching that law. Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as if it were based on works. They have stumbled over the stumbling stone, as it is written, “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense; and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.””
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭9‬:‭30‬-‭33‬ ‭ESV‬‬
