- We've been playing Judgment for a while as part of our review but there are a few things that we wish we knew before playing. With that in mind here 9 tips I wish I knew before playing Judgment.

Really good tip: Go to the squared area in champion district and use your drone, you can find a picture in the wall, take a pic and you can unlock the Tiger Drop.

Bingo. Once you get Tiger Drop, the majority of the game becomes such a breeze (unless you suck with the timing, but it's easier to do IMO than in Kiwami 2 or Y6). I was actually shocked at how easy it was to get in this game (or how Yagami seemingly masters it so quickly and easily).

The best one : you can cancel every mortal move from the boss (when they are shining with their colored aura). You have to do the running wall kick

It's really good to know. I just got masacred by Hamura's pink fatass and like half of my health bar got shaved. Gonna reload now and beat his ass
You could also use that EX move where Yagami fights while drunk. Or that one EX move that requires you to taunt an enemy and press triangle if they try to hit you during said taunt. Of course, the Tiger Drop is also on option. Interrupts their attack, deals massive damage, and knocks them down.
Idk why but I always struggle with the wall jump moves
U can also ex action (OR heat action in yakuza terms) against them like in Yakuza Kiwami
Upgrade your increase speed combos. You're quite slow when starting and having faster combos makes judgment much more enjoyable
Yeah it’s really weird how that works isn’t it? The game was really boring for me until I upgraded my speed

Tbh i liked the slow combat cos it forced me to engage in technical combat
Here’s another I found out you could do, you can cancel any attack into the two styles even if the animation has a huge recovery gap. it’s pretty good

Some of this is a bit wrong. You need to spend 7000 yen per poppo shop for the 500sp, and you can't do it in the first 20 minutes as the friend stuff isn't unlocked that early. The stray cats have nothing to do with the friend looking for 3 particular ones. From the very first investigation part of the game before unlocking friend quests you need to examine every stray cat you hear for a trophy which is entirely missable
Glad to know these tips, I just started Judgement last night and its awesome.
When overwhelmed and/or surrounded and/or fighting mortal wounds-dealing mini or main bosses, activate the EX Boost and spam your respective hard strike button!!! The mortal strikes won't harm you while you physically rearrange your opponent's portrait!
Man I can't think of a better game than this. Uniquely challenging (eg mortal wounds, nerfed combat etc), story, cast, OST, graphics and funny side quests.

Also the only way you can fast travel is by cabs, and you have to physically run to the nearest cab to get to the other side of the district.

All of this was a common knowledge when playing a game to me.
The Wall Jump Finisher turns this Game into easy Mode i would never use it.

Try searching for "critical thinking" instead of judgment. It should net better results.
I like the game but the investigations can get so boring
Right now the ps store got this game for 29.99$ it’s on sale basically, should I buy it ? I definitely got the extra cash. & I really haven’t gotten into any yakuza games neither, I tried one & it wasn’t all that to me. But I also bought remnant from the ashes & I definitely regret buying it 🤦🏽♂️😂😂 someone help me please

@@KosmasMJpec it was really good, I had fun with it, it’s basically a turned based yakuza game, it still has all the crazy yakuza game stuff in it lol.
You can use this game to start and if you like this one your going to want to play the other games in order there is a channel that shows what games to play first but this one has no connection to the other games story line

The OP’s tips are inaccurate. Don’t go trying to spend money at POPOs until you complete the first friendship side mission with your intel guy. Only then will the game open friendships with NPCs. So it’s not possible to collect all this XP in the first 20 minutes of gameplay… I wasted so much money trying to figure out what was wrong before looking it up online. SMH… Also, the free 50k is not there anymore. So don’t waste your time trying to figure out why you didn’t get it. Finally, the cats you need to find later in the game have nothing to do with the cats you always hear when investigating. Did the OP even play this game?
