Don't quote me on this, but I think he's the guy that replaced Richie Sambora 🤔 besides touring with Bon Jovi and his solo project (Phil-x and the drills) he's a very active guitar player. Check out his videos from his solo stuff. Seriously talented dude..have you seen the "hired guns" documentary? If not, it's a must see! Changes the way you look at studio musicians and a look into their personal lives..have to watch all the bonus materials on the DVD too...keep on Rok'n...
There are only a couple of players on this planet that make me SMILE when I watch them play. Phil X is one of them. Phil has ton's of energy and always looks like he's have the best time of his life which translates into his playing and makes me smile with him whenever I watch him play..

Phil is an absolute beast. I’ve been watching him since I saw him on Fretted Americana back around 2007. To play guitar on this song is hard enough, to sing it and play it is unbelievable. 🤘🤘🤘😎😎😎🎸🎸🎸
That orange cable on his guitar looks just like the one on the phone my mom had back in the late seventies. Thought it was the best thing ever, I could stretch the phone over 10 feet into the bathroom just off the kitchen and take a dump while talking on the phone (which is common practice nowadays).
Well phil…. If you read any of these posts, all i can say if that i just came off a hard electrical wiring job in my soon to be home studio and was pissed as ever … I finally got a bunch of junction boxes wired and literally walked out of the room, got a smoke and a drink and wired up to You Tube and the first thing that cam on was one of my favorites from VH1 and it made my whole night! I’m 58 and was a punk kid when this came our stealing the the record from my older sister and hearing the mighty EVH i was of course a fan for life…. I follow you and give props to your playing abilities, and most of all your enthusiasm for guitar and music……. Your infectious personality is so much like Sammy Hagars who is another of my favorites is uncanny the resemblance between the two of you….
