I take the opportunity of this video, to thank you from my heart. Thank you for showing the world by explaining with love and passion for our - now also your - land, the history and beauties of our wonderful Italy. Unfortunately, we Italians, being used to living here, often no longer pay attention to the beauty that we have around us and therefore unfortunately we do not give it the right attention. But I'm happy to see that there are still people living here - Italian and non-Italian - who still realize they live in the most beautiful country in the world.❤️🇮🇹
Beautifully done! My grandmother is from Pitigliano as are a lot of Italians who settled in the same town in Central, PA in the U.S. For years, I researched recipes that I assumed were solely Italian, only to discover from friends in Pitigliano and from reading Edda Servi Machlins cookbook Classic Cuisine of the Italian Jews - that the recipes I had been raised with are a cultural blend of Italian and Jewish tradition. I recently finished a chronicle of my grandmother's recipes as well as a film short on the Italians of Hershey, PA - in the event any viewers would like to see the work. It's a beautiful town, an amazing and unique story, and you did a wonderful job telling the story beautifully! Grazie Millie!
Absolutely stunning! You have such a gift. I've been chronically ill for over 20 years and unfortunately bedridden for the last 10 years. However, I was very lucky to have traveled quite a bit when I was younger. I've truly never seen a more beautiful place. I ache to be there, but now I feel like I've actually spent time there walking beside you and listening to your lovely voice. Thank you Kylie ❤🙏

Dear Kylie, as an Italian, fascinated by history and in particular by the beauty of historic small hill towns, I must thank you for this beautifully filmed and edited video and for all the interesting information you have included in it (like the presence of little Jerusalem or the carved road caves of Etruscan origin). Pitigliano is one of my favourite places, still out the radar for most tourists coming to Italy and Tuscany. Your beautiful video will certainly contribute to let people get acquainted to it. Villages like 5 terre or the towns on the Amalfi coast have now reached an extreme level of popularity and become really overcrowded in peak season, others like Civita di Bagnoregio (the dying city) are becoming more populars thanks to some media attention, but Pitigliano has remained mostly in the shadow in these years. It's a pity, since it is a really magical place. If you are driving at night from the coast along road SR74, you will be truly mesmerized by the view when you finally see Pitigliano and its cliffs illuminated after a sharp turn. And for those that like me are in awe in front of similar places, I would suggest some other hilltowns like Sorano and Sovana (both near Pitigliano), Vitorchiano (really off the beaten track) or the impressive villages in western Liguria like Bussana vecchia (a resuscitated ghost town), Apricale (the only place with a bycicle installed on top of the bell tower or campanile), Bajardo and Dolceacqua, just to name e few of them! All the best from Torino to you, Guido and your baby! Ciao, Roberto
I'll never forget coming around the corner and seeing this town for the first time! its shocking and blows you away. like a movie set. had one of the best meals ever there :-) it was gorgeous and clean and so old!
As a Hispanic and cultural historian, you vlogs continue to appeal to all my senses and heart. Speaking English and Spanish, it is always pleasurable to hear Italian and how much I understood the language without translation. There is reason Spanish and Italian are romance languages.
I love how talented you are at capturing the flavour of a place, your cinematography and interviews are so immersive! This place reminds me of where Im living now in France, near the town of Uzès, which I really encourage you to visit if you're ever in Provence! Most people visit larger cities when they travel but the true heart of a culture and a people can often be found in traditional old villages where people have been preserving a way of life with sacredness and respect and so much love for so long. ❤️
I absolutely agree with everything you said about Kylie’s talents, and although I’ve never had the chance to travel yet, but If/when I do I feel the same way, I’d much rather visit areas like this!

I cannot begin to tell you how connected I feel to Italy through your videos. I am a 2nd generation 100% Italian-American. My mother's parents came to NYC in the early 1900s from a little commune called Mondavio; my father's parents arrived in NYC as children in the late 1800s from a little town called Bella. Both Mondavio & Bella offer the gentleness of life as you showed and shared in this video of Pitigliano. Watching you makes me feel so connected to my historical past and my people. Thank you, Kylie!
This was so beautiful, Kylie! We live in Germany and I’m always looking for new places to visit but definitely want to stay away from a crowds. This would be such a neat place to visit!

What a stunning magical place to visit. You are our travel agent to places that are just as special as the bigger cities but hidden from tourist's who don't venture outside the usual places. Grazi!
What a lovely village. Your filming is spectacular and really captured the beauty of this village. The hand carved road caves were amazing. It must have been magical walking through them. How generous that the mayor was willing to be interviewed by you. Glad you and the baby are doing well. Looking forward to seeing your parents arrival as I am sure you are as well. Take care and thanks for sharing.
You revealed this delightful town to me! Now it's on my list of must-sees when I return to Italy. I love the way the town not only rises up from but also digs down into the rock.
While living and working in Europe many years ago, I visited Italy often for work and for holiday's. I am of full Italian decent and wanted to explore my heritage. My mother told me her mother lived in a home that was carved out of the rock, the caves in Ischia, I thought that sounded like it could not be right, until I went to Ischia myself and saw all the caves along the road to Sierra Fontana and Fontana, the towns from my mothers side of the family (Scotti/Iacono). Our family names are carved into the obelisk in the town square. The same with my Father side of the family in Roccoforte Calabria, the town square is named after my family (Sgro). Through your videos I feel like I am in Italy again, and have been inspired to take the plunge to apply for Italian Citizenship to be able to return to the land of my grandparents. There is something about living and breathing in Italy that can only be described as being able to truly understand who I am and be myself, and loving life. I am very fortunate my grandparents/parents worked so hard and took the chance to come to America to give future generations a chance at a better life. I have been doing my own blood line research for citizenship through decent, and by chance came across all the original birth, death and marriage documents in Italian. Now on to learn Italian!
Oh Lynn me too, I so enjoy the chats with the locals and get an insight into how life really is without the tourists. Along with this beautiful language, I too hope to travel there one day in the future. Thank you Kylie XX
What a beautiful little town, definitely a good life can be lived there...........hope you are well and quietly enjoying your last few weeks......Donna in Toronto

That was such a wonderful little documentary on this beautiful place. Reminded me of an inland Tropea built on the rocks. Another one for the bucket list :) keep well. Amazing work.
I LOVE these segments where you go to other places and explain the history and interview locals. It is mind blowing, especially as a Southern California girl to hear you and the major talk about places that have been around for thousands of years. Our history here is so new compared to that. Thank you Kylie for sharing a beautiful piece of our world that most people will never see. Love and Blessings to you💗🤗

3000 years!!! Amazing architecture🪨🏛🪨🏛🪨🏛🪨
What a stunning magical place to visit. You are our travel agent to places that are just as special as the bigger cities but hidden from tourist's who don't venture outside the usual places. Grazi!
This series is SO TIMELY as I plan for 10 days in Tuscany next year followed by 4 days on the Amalfi Coast! I'm so excited!!
Magic
Thanks
Pitigliano has been added to my 'MUST VISIT next trip!' list. Thank you, Kylie!
What a fascinating place just full of ancient history! Thank you for the grand tour, Kylie!
Wow! Pitigliano is now on my list for our trip to Italy next fall! Thank you Kylie for this amazing vlog!
Questa città è come un sogno. Grazie dal Texas per mostrarla. Visitiamo un giorno ☀️☀️❤️❤️🇮🇹🇮🇹
One of the prettiest places I've visited in my life. Grazie mille, Kylie!
It really looks like a fantasy town. Beautiful. .
You revealed this delightful town to me! Now it's on my list of must-sees when I return to Italy. I love the way the town not only rises up from but also digs down into the rock.
Beautiful video Kylie! Thank you for showing us a new part of Italy
This was so interesting what a beautiful town. Love these stories. ❤
Good morning Kylie

Wow, Kylie. Thank you so much for the beautiful filming and conversations with locals; breathtaking and intimate. This town of Pitigliano is the very type of place my husband and I would so love to come back and explore if we should be so fortunate to visit Italy again.
I am thankful to learn about this amazing place! I live in Canada where our history is young. Such richness of history, life and community. Looking forward to next Friday's video with your parents arrival. Many blessings to you all this week

Once again another beautiful place che devo andare . Proprio una città con molto cose de vedere grazie. Getting excited for you and the beautiful baby 👶……….🤗🇨🇦
That was such a wonderful little documentary on this beautiful place. Reminded me of an inland Tropea built on the rocks. Another one for the bucket list :) keep well. Amazing work.
Hello Kylie, I'm hoping that you are feeling well and wishing you good health throughout your last trimester.
Love all of your videos , thank you so much for sharing 😘🙏
Your work is always wonderful. Top-level 💜
Love and Blessings to you💗🤗
Love these weekly trips to Tuscany...
You add so much value to our lives by sharing your love of life. Thank you, Kylie.
These Hill Top Villages are just amazing...... When I see them I always wonder how they were constructed...... They are Beautiful..... :-))) xxxxx
Another fabulous video….thanks for sharing your gifts!❤️
I'm so glad you filmed this and shared it with your subscribers. Take really good care of yourself as you go through your last trimester together. It's a joint effort now and after your bambino makes his debut.
