Love Your Neighbor: a Biblical Perspective. A video about the Gospel of Jesus Christ from the Bible. For years I’ve wondered how to love myself as my neighbor. It never really made sense to me because I knew I didn’t really love myself so much to begin with. But I wanted to. Yes, I wanted to love my neighbor, but it was the 2nd law, so not as important as the 1st which is to love God with all my heart. But only recently did I get it that loving God with all my heart requires loving everyone as though everyone were God. See Mark 12:30 Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, soul, mind and strength. And Matthew 25 34-40. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you for when I was an hungered ye gave me meat, when I was naked you clothed me, when I was a stranger ye took me in, sick and in prison and yet visited and ministered unto me.
