I used to spoof an over the top evangelist preaching this story as an obnoxious ten year old. One day the big kids (18 year olds) came to me with a cross they had made with 'Jesus Saves' etched into it with some great care and told me what I had said had changed things for them all. I told them I was only fooling around but basically they said 'you only thought you were joking'. This story is profound to me for that reason.

Watching this makes me chuckle. Christ tasks Ananias with blessing Saul to receive his sight. And instead of straightway doing it he tries to tell Christ why he shouldn't do it. As if he was telling something Christ didn't already know. And Christ takes the time to lovely tell him why. Many times we do not know the reason why we are commanded to do things when prompted. This was a great example of the savior's patience with his servants.

Watching this makes me chuckle. Christ tasks Ananias with blessing Saul to receive his sight. And instead of straightway doing it he tries to tell Christ why he shouldn't do it. As if he was telling something Christ didn't already know. And Christ takes the time to lovely tell him why. Many times we do not know the reason why we are commanded to do things when prompted. This was a great example of the savior's patience with his servants.
