Wow, he’s old and his voice is still amazing and has that beautiful light quality. Even Elton John can’t sing like he did when he was young. This is a great rendition of the song too.
I just listened to the original peppy 1960s version of this song and loved the memories it evolved for me. I hesitated to listen to this much slower, more aged version and I shed a few tears as I appreciated the more elegant mature melody...loving it just as much if not more than the original! Beautifully done!
This song will forever live in my heart because I love it very much! First heard it when I was little. My neighbor played it loudly everyday! Saw The Cascades record cover and I think they were very cute!
