Hi Annie, I used your link and just tried to sign up for the wine and it is not showing the discount on my first box at check out? I don't want to enter my CC and then get charged full price? Any suggestions?
Sweet... Happy you have sponsorship to help you keep going and growing.... Never stop sowing because there is power in knowing and everywhere we sow will grow
Not a green practice per say, but I've been feeding and growing a relationship with local birds. Literally in my yard. Leaving them carefully selected seed and making sure my water fountain is clean and safe for them. Its been a beautiful way to connect to nature, be proactive in helping native birds, and also having a little fun with my indoor only cats who love bird watching. It hits a lot of notes that have made me feel more connected. I've also gotten so SO many feathers as gifts, from all sorts of birds. It feels like the spirits themselves have been blessing me with feathers.
🌲🍀🐾It is a "GREEN" practice. A "Shamanic" practice, it is said that . . . " If you "speak" with animals, they will "speak" with you. And you will "know" each other". . .🐾🍀🌲.
I think that’s a wonderful idea I’m a older woman and it’s been bothering me about what I can do because outdoor gardening is something I can’t do anymore. I do have my window herb’s just a few but what you’re doing is a great idea for me so thank you You inadvertently paid it forward with your great comment.
I do this also! There is a local hawk that flies over my yard multiple times a day. I know cause he is missing a chunk of feathers. I wish I could feed him. But I just can't do live mice
This video is just perfect. I am feeling depressed, sad and completely disconnected from life at all. Not only I almost have no contact with nature, I am working from home and there is almost zero sunlight. You made me rethink how I am living my days and forgetting my practices. Thanks so much! Best wishes to you
Pathose is a vining plant that grows well inside with little light. It will bring some outside to your inside and make you feel an outside energy. It also cleans the air very well.
Hi, I hope you are feeling better. I work from home, too, and it's a challenge, even with a bright room. Have you considered moving? One of the great perks of working from home is, you can move and keep your job. 🙂
Part 5 is the reason I got into herbalism. I was trying to see why herbs had certain magickal associations and it didn't make sense to me until I looked into actual folk remedies. Instead of being afraid that certain herbs weren't edible or the preparations didn't make sense and felt wasteful, I am able to properly use these plants and give back to nature and my loved ones. Now I've completely turned my attention toward herbalism specifically to learn (and practically use!) plants. It is SO empowering! Completely agree with you!
Just a point about #3, alot of people skip/refrain from doing this because their families or partners may be religious and they can't show displays of these sorts, for whatever personal reason (respect for others, fear of retaliation,etc.). There are plenty of ways to keep a magickal home however, the bells and whistles are only what make it special once you've found a space that is truly yours. Maintaining what you have to work with is your biggest focus, and has an immense effect on one's mental (or aural) health. Very calming video, good tips ~
I'm one of the few males that is going towards this path, but I can only consider myself a novice "learner" at this time. As you mentioned, and it's one of the first things i've accomplished...is being much more aware of one's natural surroundings/connecting, even in the city. I work on an emergency ambulance, and I can still "hear" the call of a raven, even when i'm busy. BTW, your content is wonderful and your style reminds me of "Scarlet Ravenswood"
Since I moved to a small town--I am truly a townie now, packed close with many other people who are curious about my every move--I have noticed a need to clear and ward a LOT. My lease runs out next month and I'm looking for a place in the country. I NEED the peace and space, and way less human energy. Nice video.
As a witch who lives in the city, I really feel like another person when I'm connected to nature. Even just taking a walk in a park once a week has such a huge difference on my mentality! And when it's local plants, you feel connected to your hometown's space
I’m a fourteen year old who has been enchanted by witchcraft and decided to indulge in my own witchcraft and your videos have helped me become one with myself.
I like living in a rural area, feels more chill. Also it's nice being able to connect with nature. I didn't realize how much I missed it until years ago when I had moved away then I moved back and after reconnecting to my craft.
Tip from me, whenever your going shopping or foraging ingredients use the ability to see magic in the ingredients or crystals. You want to pick and chose berries and crystals that glow brighter than others. So if you have 2 quartz crystals that are the same shape size etc you would want to pick the one with more mana, aka the one that glows brighter. The brighter one will hold more magic will absorb more energy’s and will generally be better. I use this when going to search for crystals and the such and it helps me with magic batteries. Just a pro tip.
These are good tips :> I am lucky enough to live near nature (mountains, forest, and ocean), I don’t do much magic outside of my home but visiting nature is a very good feeling. I also have a garden that I take care of. I’ve found along with harvesting things for the purpose of, well, using them, when I trim back plants I can also use those trimmings ^^ the other day my family had me cut back our Basil’s flowers so it would continue producing leaves, I have the flowers in my bedroom
All excellent suggestions or reminders for those who already know. If one considers a home a reflection of one's self, it's very important to work on making it as much of a peaceful sanctuary as possible, and clean. "When a flower doesn't bloom, you fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower." Alexander Den Heijar Thank you!
The reason I got into witchcraft was by learning herbalism. I learned about medicinal purposes of herbs, which led to interest in magic, and now I'm a practicing witch! :)
I’ve always felt connected to the wind and the rain and bodies of water. I love to see fish swimming around in lakes and even though I’ve never been to the ocean, I feel like it’s what my chakras need. I would love to finally start my journey and hopefully figure out all of the wonders it has to offer. Watching these videos have inspired me that I should start there and see what signs are brought to me. Not necessarily a green witch but maybe a blue one 💙 The healing properties water holds are wonderful and I would love to contribute back and heal the waters as well
I struggle in the Summer with my witchery. Where I live the summers are so very hot that to go outside etc is difficult. I have filled my home with many different plants and find my joy inside rather then out. Then September through June I get to enjoy fabulous outdoor weather . If anyone experiences this please let me know how you cope.
It was a very hot July where I live, rainfall has gotten back to normal so it seems and is starting to cool off. What I have been doing is tending to my outdoor plants really early in the morning ( fortunately I'm an early riser) Hopes this helps
I understand that. I'm from the desert so mid June to late August I don't go out much. My favorite thing to do is go outside before the sun rises to greet the day and center myself.
I keep telling myself that I need to start spending more time outside. I am a major house hermit and I know that that has been cutting me off from connecting to the Earth and it's energies. I feel...stunted? spiritually because of it. There's several reasons, probably more like excuses, as to why I don't go outside more but I definitely think I can start sparing at least 5 or 10 minutes a day to go outside and wak around my yard, pick up trash, sit by/talk to my big maple tree out front. I've also noticed this plant growing next to my deck that I have no idea what it is and I had an intense feeling the other day when I noticed it that I should go out and try to learn more about it so I guess I can add that to the list to.
Hi. I just discovered your channel. I'm 61 and have been interested in nature magic for many years. I am also a gatherer of local nature tidbits that I find beautiful but never understood how to use them magically. I have so many questions! What is the best way to educate myself on identifying and magical properties of plants I find locally? I live in south Jersey. Books ive had over the years are about common and uncommon herbs. I would love to learn how to use what grows naturally around my area. Do you use spells or enchantments to charge the seasonal things that you put around your home? I love displaying what I gather when I'm out walking my dog and would love to give them some magical energy and intent. I'm looking forward to exploring your content. So far you are the only creator who comes close to how I would love to practice. Simple uncomplicated connection nature energy around me. ✨️
I'm very new to this but I've been very drawn to it my whole life, these videos are helpful thankyou so much for them. Something I love doing and makes me feel very connected with nature is simply laying down in my horses field, I could stay there for hours and I feel amazing afterwards
🌲🍀🐾Your SINCERE connection to the Green World is what draws me & probably others to you. I got that way from fishing, whilst wading in creeks, rivers, streams, and such. When a "Lady" such as yourself, talks about & shows respect for the Forests & All Natural Places, it always turns my head in their direction. Anyway you slice it, it's pure MAGICK😉. 🐾🌲🍀. 🏆🏆🏆
I love your content 🥰 Your videos really helped me find the inspiration and motivation to deepen my connection with nature. Even in times where my energy is rather low. Thank you so much ❤️✨
I would consider myself a Green Witch I love to connect with nature but I have to admit I have never been big on gardening. I have a very bad back so I have a few perennials that come up every year and I water them and enjoy how they bloom. I guess my practice is to love nature and do what I can to help the earth. What really bothers me is I use to have a house and a yard and really enjoyed feeding the birds. Now I live in a condo and get this, we aren't allowed to have bird feeders and they are very strict about the type of plants you are allowed to plant around your condo. It is like everything is sterile and no wildlife allowed. There is a nice old cemetery close by me that has lots of trees and nice easy pathways I can walk and I enjoy that very much. Thank you for your suggestions on ways to connect with nature and earth.💚🌲🌳
Tending magically to my home is probably the number one thing in my practice. Since I have to tend to it every day anyway (tidy and clean) I can just as well incorporate some magic into it and make it a daily practice that doesn’t take a lot of extra effort. It’s also a very good way of combining having small children and practicing witchcraft actively. Makes the mundane witchy.
Thank you for sharing . Yes I have been a practitioner for awhile, however I still have to be basically a closet witch. I have been ill since Wednesday with a bad cold. Your videos are so soothing and calming and I learn so much from them. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
That’s one thing I love about magick even if I were to give the haters the fact that it’s not “real” in the way it’s used, it’s still very much real, some of it is based in medicine and some can be used like ink blots. So much of witchcraft is built in things that even without the spiritual aspect they are still very useful and important things to learn.
I find it really hard to connect with nature because I live and work in the city but I try hard to spend time nature the best I can cause I really do feel uplifted and recharged. Besides it’s beauty it just refreshes me.
Firstly, I LOVE your wardrobe and I hope to have outfits like yours! I also absolutely agree with points 4&5. I remember growing up and not realizing that berries don't actually grow all year round so we have to ship them from faraway places that do not necessarily grow them naturally- just for the consumers to always have berries to buy which of course, is very taxing on the environment. Because of industrial farming and medicine we have definitely lost touch with nature and the power of it and I really hope that society finds the benefits of a more green philosophy to their lives despite it not being the best decision economically.
i always felt that in some of your videos that the nature was familiar.. then i just realized today that we live super close! and i have been to some of the places in your videos lol
I have recently become infatuated with herbalism and have been experimenting and researching in my area thanks to your channel! I am excited to try making a salve, as plantain, selfheal and red clover are abundant on my property, and both of my small boys suffer from eczema. Thank you so much for the inspiration, it was a passion from my childhood with my mother that had fallen out of practice for me. I am so happy to be exploring it wih fresh eyes and new goals! 💚
I bought a plant book in the winter and have slowly been identifying different species on my walks. When I get home, i find the plant I found in the book, read about it, then add in magickal properties on a sticky note to each page. I'm hoping to have that book filled out in no time! ^.^ also taking note of animals I see has proven useful. Any animals I see tend to confirm tarot or astrology readings. ☺️👍 and my home is witchy enough that I'm sure it makes the landlords a bit nervous when they come around for inspections hahahaha 😂🤣🕯
I also have to say that usually I'm not really interested in the sponsors of videos, but this one I actually really liked. We produce our own wine (not to sell, just to drink with friends and family.. it's done a lot in the south of Italy), so I'm particularly interested in the topic and I've never seen anyone do a sponsorship with wine, as if it's some sort of taboo 😬. Don 't know exactly what the point is of my message here, but I just got excited 😅 and I love the way you make a sponsor interesting and beautiful!
Witchcraft and ADD don’t really go because I feel like when I practice indoors my energy in the house gets really confusing and chaotic so now I have a rule to only do a ritual in the woods so it’s kind of a big thing because I live an hour away from the woods
Hey I’m from the Columbia in Washington too! It’s been two years since I visited. I can’t wait to move back in fall! The southern desert is just not for me.
I really enjoyed this video about getting back to the basics. Many times we forget how much magical is in the mundane - without any effort! Simply pausing, observing, and slowing down can be all it takes. Thank you for this generous reminder
Some of these were friendly reminders, and I do so much based around the cycles of the moon (and seasonal) and never thought to focus my understanding of an herb within a cycle. I love this suggestion and am going to try it. Thank you!
Great advice! I've just begun my practice over the last 6 months, and am more elemental focused with a planetary focus down the road. The things you mention are what attract me to green witchcraft. I feel like I already kind of fall into most of this by pure coincidence. I'm an avid gardener and will be using many local wildflowers in my flower gardens next spring. I will not only be using them for my magickal practices, but also knowing I am helping the local bee population is simply a win win. I've also been cooking for the last 8 years and will continue to use what I grow in my food. The only thing I do not do yet is incorporate my herbs into any kind of medicinal practice. Over this next winter I would like to at least gain some basic knowledge on herbalism. I'll check out your other videos on that topic! Thanks so much for all you do here on your channel! :)
I have depression and anxiety. I know exactly how you feel. It's worse now. Seasonal. It's dark on the East Coast at 430pm. Plus in the Northeast corner it's COLD. 🥶❄️
Amanda, you don't have to do "big things" everyday. Just focus on what you can do. If you can "do dishes, or a load of laundry", just do that. By the time you wash, dried, folded, put away clothes, linen. That's a big thing. Make sure you take care of yourself first. Eat, nutritious meals, stay hydrated. In no time at all you'll be feeling better. BB
Thank you for this. I’ve been having a strong need to connect with nature and return to my herbal studies, and this video just confirmed what I’ve been feeling.
I find your videos relaxing. weather its your voice or not Im not sure but its comforting. I like nature myself. and I love animals. keep up the good work
Thank you for your knowledge, Annie. You genuinely are spectacular. That moment about learning one thing during one moon cycle … that really sparked the lightbulb to life. I was feeling overwhelmed and going way too fast, to learn it all at once. I am definitely going to try this method. Sending you and the pups tons of Love and Light 💖🕯
I truly love your Patreon content, by the way. It inspires, educates, and just enriches my practice and my general, mundane daily life, as well. I thank you.
I greatly appreciate this video. I find myself wanting to strengthen my craft without being able to generate my own ideas. Thank you for these great practices!
Love this, thank you it's a great start. Im so excited to learn more about my local plants as I know our local fauna is prized for their medicinal properties. Lot of ancient history to it. Their is such beauty living in South Africa and I never want to take the fynbos floral kingdom for granted.
ive moved to a big city to be with my partner. However i am feeling a big disconnect with nature. i used to spend alot of time in nature and now that i cant, i am starting to feel really bad. ive been trying to grow a garden on my balcony and bring some green indoors, but it sadly is not the same. Its at a point where i am willing to break things off if he wants to stay in a city.
Annie, your videos are always so beautiful and inspiring! These tips are so helpful. Some of them are really important to me and my practice so it's nice to have a reminder! Thank you so much for posting, this made my day!
Baby witch here. I live in the city, and unfortunately I'm no where near wild places. I do go for walks as often as I can. I was considering creating a container garden of herbs. Do you have any recommendations of herbs for a baby witch to get started?
I wish I had time to go for a walk like this. I miss the ocean, but I also miss the redwoods, and the forest. On a different note, where did you get that skirt? Is there a pattern, or a store? It's just *amazing*.
Is there any of your videos that mention energy and how to use it? I watched intention and it's very similar to it, but anything about raising energy fields so you don't get drained?
The closest place where there's a concentration of nature, is a park downtown, in my city. I don't think there's much to work with in terms of herbs, plus, I think they'd frown upon me taking leaves and stuff 😔

It’s also a very good way of combining having small children and practicing witchcraft actively. Makes the mundane witchy.
I absolutely love that idea.
Making the mundane (cleaning house) magical.
Thank you for sharing . Yes I have been a practitioner for awhile, however I still have to be basically a closet witch. I have been ill since Wednesday with a bad cold. Your videos are so soothing and calming and I learn so much from them. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
I hope you feel better soon fast.
I really need to work on getting to know my local plants more, great reminder!
I don’t even believe in witchcraft or none of that but all of your videos look like a fantasy movie 😍! I love the colors, the quality and everything 😍
Without wanting I have been doing exactly all that.
Hey I’m from the Columbia in Washington too! It’s been two years since I visited. I can’t wait to move back in fall! The southern desert is just not for me.
I feel sooo connected to youu ... you are just .. cant explain in words ..
I really enjoyed this video about getting back to the basics. Many times we forget how much magical is in the mundane - without any effort! Simply pausing, observing, and slowing down can be all it takes. Thank you for this generous reminder
Love that imchuckiewannacrochet.
Some of these were friendly reminders, and I do so much based around the cycles of the moon (and seasonal) and never thought to focus my understanding of an herb within a cycle. I love this suggestion and am going to try it. Thank you!
Thank you for the content that you put out. Your voice is soothing and I’ve learned a lot.
Thank you so much for sharing your amazing knowledge and peaceful energy 🤍.
I really enjoy your content. I’m interested in this craft and think it would fit great in my personal spirituality
I love this video. I struggle with depression and it is still there and it's not getting better but worse but I'm trying my best to heal
BB
I love your Reishi necklace! I WOULD LOVE ONE!
Thank you for this. I’ve been having a strong need to connect with nature and return to my herbal studies, and this video just confirmed what I’ve been feeling.
Lovely presentation, Thank You!
I find your videos relaxing. weather its your voice or not Im not sure but its comforting. I like nature myself. and I love animals. keep up the good work
I AM IN LOVE WITH THE MUSIC AT THE BEGINNING...theres something so mystical about it...thanks Annie for yet another amazing video!!!
I love the music you chose for this video ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for these great practices!
you have such a nice voice. Wish you did asmr talking about herbs :)
Love this, thank you it's a great start. Im so excited to learn more about my local plants as I know our local fauna is prized for their medicinal properties. Lot of ancient history to it. Their is such beauty living in South Africa and I never want to take the fynbos floral kingdom for granted.
Thank you! This was beautiful!
Let's say these are suggestions... good ones at that. Self care is really the only should, because everything else follows that.
Absolutely right.
Your videos bring me so much joy!
I love your mjolnir necklace! I'm norse pagan, just looking into witchcraft as (to me) it feels closely connected.
Im a baby witch and this really helped me ❤
Great advice for everyone 💚
Brightest blessings kind & shining light ✨ ☀️🌜🎶
I love your linen shirt and necklaces in this video!
Oh grRl..I so needed to see this! Merry meet and merry part until I merry meet your videos agian💫
💖love you gurl! thanks for giving us the tools in which to help ourselves! 💌
ive moved to a big city to be with my partner. However i am feeling a big disconnect with nature. i used to spend alot of time in nature and now that i cant, i am starting to feel really bad.
ive been trying to grow a garden on my balcony and bring some green indoors, but it sadly is not the same. Its at a point where i am willing to break things off if he wants to stay in a city.
i love your style so much!! i'm not sure if you have before, but could you tell us where you get your clothes from?
These videos are so helpful I subscribed to Annie recently and I’m so glad I did! I’m a new witch so this is very helpful for me.
Annie, your videos are always so beautiful and inspiring!
These tips are so helpful.
Some of them are really important to me and my practice so it's nice to have a reminder!
Thank you so much for posting, this made my day!
Oh where did you find that basket back pack (for foraging) that you had while walking in the woods?
I am still young so I don’t have a house, but I have dedicated my room to being a green witch
You have such a lovely voice to listen to.
I love you!!! Thank you so much for your videos!!!!
Baby witch here. I live in the city, and unfortunately I'm no where near wild places. I do go for walks as often as I can. I was considering creating a container garden of herbs. Do you have any recommendations of herbs for a baby witch to get started?
They were not only healers - also cursers.
I wish I had time to go for a walk like this. I miss the ocean, but I also miss the redwoods, and the forest.
On a different note, where did you get that skirt? Is there a pattern, or a store? It's just *amazing*.
Great reminders, thank you. Blessed Be💓🌟🌸🌿🌼
hey thanks great video, hadn't commented before enjoyed the tales
Could you please show us how you change things and do things around your threshhold , Thank You and Blessed Be .
MM & Thank you for sharing this information. I enjoyed the video and look forward to more like this. Blessings. MP
Is there any of your videos that mention energy and how to use it? I watched intention and it's very similar to it, but anything about raising energy fields so you don't get drained?
Love this! All of these ideas are perfect
The closest place where there's a concentration of nature, is a park downtown, in my city. I don't think there's much to work with in terms of herbs, plus, I think they'd frown upon me taking leaves and stuff 😔
thank you for another wonderful video - informative & inspirational, as always 💜
All your videos are fun 🥰
Wonderful, thank you! I love your content!! Newly discovered. Bless you 🌼🌸🌼🌱🌿🍀
Love your videos!! I've learned so much from watching you. Thank you so much and blessed be.
Can you elaborate on your moon cycle plant education and what that looks like?
