Kev, that was a really good and useful video! Thanks for not pushing it to the 10 min mark for no reason. Shared it with a friend.
On another note: You're clearly a very good rider. I am a 20+ years rider and heavy content consumer, I watch almost all snb content creators apart from some obnoxious examples. 😅 Constructive criticism: If you worked a bit more on your style / steeze while riding, it would reflect your actual riding level more. What I mean: Something about your arms and/or your rather stiff posture takes a lot away from your style and makes you look more intermediate-ish than you - of course - truly are. How about working on that and show us your journey getting better at this aspect of snowboarding? Arm positioning, flexibility exercises of your spine / joint, observing style of style icons = all potential measures. Thus, invest in your style that actually makes you look like an expert. Wish you all the best and will keep watching!! Yeeew

Carve your turns to feel the G-force, and to become that rarest of things, a graceful snowboarder.

Did you do a review on the commissioner? It looks like you’re using one for this video. If not, I’d still love to hear your thoughts on the board/what you’ve heard from other people.

I haven’t ridden the commissioner yet. This one is the Capita Aeronaut

earlier this season i was asked to try 'pedalling' to carve short radius turns. not sure i understood, is this a thing you have heard or do?

Pedalling involves twisting the board along its length by creating different edge angles with the front and rear foot. As a hard boot carver it's an excellent way of losing your carving edge ( and therefore not recommended). Hard boot carvers aim for consistent edge angles front and rear so that the board edge locks into the groove the carving edge creates in the snow and the base remains pushed against the sidewall of that groove. Instead make shorter radius turns by achieving more edge angle. This uses both the sidecut radius and board flex to create a tighter radius carved curve in the snow.

I agree with your opinion, but you could have worded it nicer

Premiers a nice because everyone can watch together and it’s a good time to interact and answer questions.
