USB COM port is not working ! (ESP32 / ESP8266)

If USB port is not recognized then how to resolve it by CH340 and CP210x driver for ESP32 and ESP8266. ( Micropython and Arduino )
Correction: ARDUINO UNO uses the ATMEL communication chip.

Are the cable is important too or it can use any cable?
I followed all steps and my device manager display is same as yours but in arduino IDE the port option is not enable. What should I do for this problem?

When i connect nodemcu with my loptop.and open flasher. Im not found port like Com3 Com4 but why? After that when i go to device manager for check port option i found there was not showing any port option. I can i solved it sir

Hi good morning Mr Hareesh. I try to used many micropython ides(mu, upycraft, esplorer and thonnypython)
Only the thonny python is working successful all of others are not convecting. What will be the proble??
I have used upycraft and esplorer.Both we're worked well. Please see is any .dill files are missed, it shows prompt message when you try to install all the IDE. Try putty application. If that worked actually we don't need any IDE's.

Is there any specific usb that we can use? Because my usb keep showing usb serial port, not ch340 serial
If you use Windows OS it shows as COMx. Normally it will not show the chip name for CH340. Check with the device manager and take proper step.

I downloaded the drivers but i am getting error : selected serial port does not exist or your board....

esptool FatalError:Failed to connect to ESP8266. Timed out waiting for packet header
Use good and short length USB cable. Check the baud rate 115200 is baud rate use in ESP32/8266 boards.

Please send a screenshot. Check with the Device Manager in Windows OS. Is that showing undetected device or not. Not detected then find the communication IC in the development board and install the driver. Check the quality of the USB cable

Use short and quality USB cable. If you use Linux, push the USB port to active by terminal command.
Some usb cables coming with power cables only. They are usually using only for charging. Use the uab cable which are coming with smartphone. Which can transfer data from pc to mobile.

Try with another laptop. If that detected your esp8266 then try with drivers installation. If not then the esp device is faulty.
