Hi Folks, I wasn't sure if the 'My Tiny Garden' A6 Hobonichi I picked up is Tomoe paper. It has been confirmed that it is tomoe paper. Sorry for any confusion caused. Have a wonderful day! th-cam.com/video/mI3MATrW_JA/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared&t=689

I am looking forward to going to Scriptus 24 in Toronto for the first time and anticipating being able to see and handle the notebooks for myself. I can't wait!
Did you go? I went last year and spent SO much. I heard the line ups were bonkers this year. My sister went, and bailed before noon. But she got some nice pens with fancy nibs from Esterbrook. They had a booth this year!
@@evilcritter Hi! Yes I went and met a friend who helped me in the bewildering battlefield of pen mania! It was bonkers to say the least. The line up at 10 snaked around the building but we were in the first mob and fought valiantly to get close to the tables. I had to leave at 12 and by then the line ups were as long as they were first thing. The volunteers did a great job. However, it was really too busy to be comfortable. But I will hope to go next year.
Nice! And Thank you for the clarification. Yes it seems limited stock only at partner shops. Going to wait for the wonderpens restock whenever that happens.
@@StationeryAt4love your channel, grew up in Calgary but live in Saskatoon. Thanks to your video on Madison+Page we went there on a recent visit and had an amazing experience!!
Great video, very informative. Love how you’re getting the kids involved with the TNs. I got a grid notebook insert and made a monthly planner from it…kept me busy for a while 😀 That insert goes from Jan to Dec 2025 and Jan to Dec 2026. It was definitely worth doing and I’ve got 2 yrs of planning for around £4.
I picked up the TN copy by Peter Pauper Press and I am impressed! It was about $25 and had 3 notebooks (dotted, lined, and blank) and a plastic zip pouch and pocket. I have a friend who is a leatherworker, so I could get a cover off him if I decide to replace the "vegan leather" one, but I don't mind it. I am a big fan of PPP paper. Very fp friendly. Something to consider for those of us who like the TN aesthetic but can't afford the, honestly, overpriced covers. Plus the PPP one has the elastic closure attach in the spine, so there is no bump to deal with when you write in it.
I’m going to Japan again this autumn. I will buy the weekly memo. I didn’t buy it last year thinking I didn’t need it, but I found myself missing it, especially after I had switched from Hobonichi to TN.
Unfortunately, the Hobonichi Papers notebooks are not made with Tomoe River Paper. Based on reviews I've seen, it is also not fountain pen friendly. That's why the A6 book you got costs less than the A6 Hobonichi Graph/Plain/Lined Notebooks, despite having more pages. The A5 and A6 Graph/Plain/Lined Notebooks like the gray one you purchased *are* made with Tomoe River Paper.
HI there, I saw it here. shop.travelerscompanyusa.com/products/tf-travelers-notebook-cotton-zipper-case-brown Although it now looks like it's available in the US at least? The Canadian partner shops don't have them available at the moment.
I have to say up front that I bought a few of the sticker release books myself, and the majority of my washi tape and similar thin paper stickers do not stick. The sticker just rolls up and won't adhere for some reason - likely the style of the sticker paper that keeps it from being stiff enough, I suppose. Hopefully just a fair warning to anyone else who was interested in the books.
Thanks for sharing. That's too bad. Both of my sticker releases have no issues with washi tapes. Did you try a replacement? Warm wishes and have a lovely day!

Love how you have the whole family using traveler’s notebook and how each person might have different needs. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
The weekly memo is a fantastic planner.
Love that the whole family plans 💛

The cloth zipper was only available at partner shops. I grabbed some from Wonder Pens this summer

I keep meaning to try Peter Pauper Press. Thanks for the reminder. I agree on the price :)
look for Traveler’s notebook B sides for the waxed cotton zipper pocket - watch out, it’s expensive!:)

Came here to also say this
Thanks for the clarifications folks. Appreciate it!
Still waiting on them to be released in the UK, it’s been so long since I preordered them I’ve forgotten what I ordered 😂
lol
Where are you seeing the hints of three new colors in the site!?!

I'm sure you've mentioned this but do they have a passport size of the zippered canvas pockets
They do!

I'm in Canada too. Where did you purchase from?
I got my stuff from Reid's here in Calgary.

Isn’t it 2025 haul? 😂 title says otherwise
Lol clumsy fingers! Thank you and corrected!
