The 1st of January 2023 meant a totally new realm for Warsaw winters. Officially, 18.9 degrees Celsius were recorded that day in the capital (at the airport, in the shade of course). The previous historical record warmth for January (13.8C) was beaten by more than 5 degrees. More than that, it set a new record high for the entire winter season December-February! Poland's winters have been warming up dramatically in recent years. The season's average high for 2001-2010 (Warsaw) is -1.19 degree, whilst for 2011-2020 only -0.04. The most recent winter that resembled the traditional colder pattern (not extreme though), is the 2016/2017 season.

we used to have winters like the one you've seen in Norway around 10-15years ago. Climate change hit polish winter really hard. Last few years people weren't even turning much of their heating

No winter in Poland anymore 😥 no snow and today we have 11th of December and it's 10°C 😂
Edit: almost no snow okay, there is some snow occasionally but compared to how it was 10 or 15 years ago I wouldn't call this Winter... it's like autumn turning into spring

Don't know about mass immigration but there are lot of foreigners coming to Poland right now because so many jobs are available. Country is growing well especially in banking and IT jobs.

@@donbabilio8298we are not open for mass migration at all… we only tolerate controlled, legal and skilled migration…. Having said that we are open to people that can respect out values and integrate and that means learning the language and obey by our standards
