I absolutely love Poland. It’s a beautiful country. I just recently discovered y’all. Yall are so humble I love watching your videos. I’m so glad everyone is back to traveling Europe full time. Blessings from Oklahoma. I was fortunate to go on a Mission trip to Poland back in 2018. I absolutely fell in love with the country and its people.
It's such a great country! We can see why you feel in love with it. Thanks for such a nice comment 🤗 Really appreciate the love :)
Thank you❤
I am Polish-American thinking of relocating back to Poland after spending most of my life in NY. Stay in touch, I may be your tour guide if you ever decide to live or stay for a while in Poland
The city and its surroundings are beautiful, its buildings are unique from the ancient epic.
Gdańsk is just stunning and a lovely place. Sopot nearby has a great beach and also very cold water! Also a brief trip to Malbork Castle is really a magnificent trip as are two of the great museums in Gdańsk which are the shipyard museum and also the WW2 museum. Just a brilliant way to enjoy some days here.
Thanks for the great recommendations so many things to see and do in the area!
I like the video because we are taught very little about Eastern Europe in school. I got to see how friendly the Polish people are and I liked how they strike me as people persons. Their architecture is historic and highly sophisticated. The eateries and shops give people a reason for strolling and just being sociable. I am sort of sad that we are so uneducated in such a vast part of the world.
You're so right. These places need to get more attention and love. Always look forward to your comments friend. Thank you so much 🤗
Polska nie jest Europa wschodnia a środkowa i nic wspólnego nie mamy z kulturą wschodu.
Amazing but Poland is not Eastern we are not even central. We are Northern Civilisation
@@gwiazdkaznieba3737Dokładnie !😂
All good, but Poland is not the east... It's exactly in the middle of Europe, and from Roman Empire times on, it was considered a north. The perspective changed when the Holy Roman Empire was formed, and the cultural point of view moved from Italy to the territories of countries like Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, Belgium, the Netherlands, the northern part of Italy, the eastern part of France, and the western part of Poland. This is how mainly current "Germany" has become a centre, and everthink on the right from it was called East, but this is nonsense, and just describe a point of view of an Holy Roman Empire. Poland is and always has been in the centre of Europe, if we look from a geographical point of view. There was even a long period in the history of Europe when the Polish Lithuanian Commenwelth had such a big impact on the continent that, for many, it was considered a cultural centre of Europe.
I was already sold on the idea to go to Poland especially Gdansk but I’m so grateful to have all these little tips so that whenever I can make to Poland hopefully by next summer that I shall be ready!
The entire Polish serie was amazing! I’m glad you went and shared with us!
Lol Sammy after her 2 shots 👏🏼 😊❤ made me laugh
Take Care
Sabrina 🇫🇷🇬🇧
We LOVED Poland so much! We haven't been to Gdansk but have heard so many great things about it! Great video guys! Thank for sharing!
Gdansk is indeed incredibly beautiful, as is the rest of Poland, good vlog, cheers.
Would you say Poland is an underrated tourist destination, and would you visit again?
The Christmas markets look amazing. Great destination anytime of year.
Yes very underrated! We will definitely visit again still so many places to see!
Not no more..Poland is Europe's top destination now. I've traveled around Europe and still head back to Poland. It's definitely my home now
@@SammyandTommy Zamość, Bieszczady, Podlasie, Lublin, Częstochowę , Szlak Orlich Gniazd, Karkonosze Polska jest piękna, bezpieczna, gościnna i smaczna ;-) Dzieki za fajne filmiki o nas ;-)
@@PolhopperEurope's top destination? Definitely not! Alot of people are still unaware of Poland as a good tourist/travel destination. Especially older people who don't really use the internet much (they still imagine Poland as in the 90s/early 00s when it's changed alot since then).
In a way I think this is good...Prague is a great example of what happens to a city with over tourism. You don't want that to happen in Poland. And as for the over tourism in places like Venice, Rome and Paris...let's not even begin.
One of the best Poland city, totally in love with Gdansk.
Couldn't agree more! Thanks for watching
Thank you very much for visiting my city and filming it beautifully. Gdansk is part of the tri-city (three cities next to each other Gdansk-Sopot-Gdynia), so I recommend you also visit Sopot (the city of relaxation, clubs, good restaurants and beautiful beach) and Gdynia with its beautiful harbor, beautiful city beach, wide streets, good food, musical theater, the aquarium and it's great viewpoint. From Gdansk, you can take a train, bus, or boat to Hel - one of the small towns on the Hel peninsula where there are beautiful beaches and you can go windsurfing (a large shallow water area where the wind blows). You are warmly invited to visit us again.
You're very welcome! Thanks for watching and for all the recommendations!
Great video
guy bought you shots typical kindness. Polish people are great.
Yes they are and thank you!
my polish wife dies every time they pronounce the name of the city the way they do lmaooo
its a hard language for sure
it's very nice how they admire Poland... have a nice day
Just came across y’all’s channel! We’re considering staying in Poland in the next couple of months 😊 This town is looks so cool!
I do appreciate a lot the moments you interact with people to have their "photo" !
That's awesome to hear, Thanks so much Julie 🤗
My city I was born there❤❤❤
I’ve been to Gdańsk, it really surprised me how beautiful the town is. Wonderful people, delicious food, very affordable, and the large park is awesome and the beach is much nicer than I imagined.
What a lovely couple you are. Greetings from Poland
I love all your polish travel videos! You give an authentic look on this beautiful country.
Thank you so much! That means a lot!
I rarely comment, but I've watched so many of your videos and have to say that the videography/editing is just amazing!!
Thank you for making our day! Comments like these keep up motivated to keep creating. Really appreciate it!
I've been to Poland 3 times over the last 1 1/2 year's and have traveled all over, and yes, Gdansk is one of Polands prettiest cities, but there are many others too. Since i have Polish roots, i moved here 2 1/2 months ago..Best decision i ever made ❤🇵🇱
That’s great to hear! So glad you’re enjoying it 😊
@@SammyandTommy ...Did you get a chance to see Zakopane?
Rented a cabin near downtown in August last year and again in February. Zakopane is like a little version of Banff and Yoho national parks where I was from in Canada
Very great experience
Nice to see my born city Gdańsk⚓️❤️.Greetings from 🇬🇧 UK.
I am from Poland. I visited Gdansk this summer with my family. It’s a beautiful city, but is it the most beautiful Polish city? I think that’s debatable. Krakow is a beautiful city. So is Wroclaw, and so is much of Warszawa. I haven’t been to Poznan or Szczeczin, which are also known for being charm cities. There are many charming smaller cities and towns in Poland as well. But yes, Gdansk is a great city. I live in the USA and only manage to visit family in Poland every few years, but every now and then I dream of somehow finding a way to spend more time there. I have travelled throughout Europe and the USA, and Poland is genuinely one of the cleanest, friendliest and most beautiful countries that I have visited or lived in. Within 20 years, it will have one of the strongest economies in Europe. It is already becoming an immigration destination for people from Slavic countries who want to move somewhere cleaner, safer, more affluent and less corrupt with more economic opportunities.
Loved the vid! When was this recorded?
Love to hear it thanks! It was filmed in August 👍
Poland is definitely worth to visit but don't tell anyone about this 🙂
Enjoy Poland👍🏻
Great vibes! :)
We had the best time! Glad that came across, thanks for the kind comment!
Gdansk is the birthplace of Solidarity movement which redefined Eastern Europe. Between World War One and World War Two it was a free city, not Polish nor German, totally independent. The old part of Gdansk is gorgeous. The city has a lot of German heritage. Gdansk is a part of Tri-City, together with smaller Gdynia and smallest Sopot. Great public transportation system, very easy to move around and not expensive. Gdansk has ferry services to Sweden and Denmark. It also offers sea ship and fast hoover boat Baltic Sea tours. It is also possible to take a ship to the end of the peninsula - little lovely town called Hel.
Gdańsk znajduje się w Polsce. Polska w Europie Środkowej. W Polsce jest geograficzne centrum Europy DEBILU.
SUPERBE MAGNIFIQUE !!!
I love my born city of Gdansk. Fun fact: Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit, which you guys should know, was born in Gdansk. Arthur Schopenhauer was born there and moved like me to Hamburg.
It changed so much in the last years. But you need to visit Hamburg too, where i live now for almost 40 years.
I love Gdańsk ❤ can be very busy especially in weekend when Scandinavia tourist arrive ! Gdańsk is home to Fahrenheit ? It is our fault that US not using Celsius 😂😂😂 Hope Polish people are friendly to you ?
We can see why you love it 😍 Good to know it's Gdansk's fault for the US being the only one still using Fahrenheit 😂 Polish people were incredible warm and welcoming, Thank you!
Welcome in Poland 🇵🇱 have fun
Gdansk is a beautiful city. I approve this message 😁. Not sure if you notice, but at 7:43 there is a Fahrenheit's meteorological column. DANIEL FAHRENHEIT was born Gdansk. If you have time visit WW2 museum.
Such a beautiful place 😍 Thanks for sharing and for the suggestions!
Also Arthur Schopenhauer was born in Gdansk at that time Danzig.
Gdansk truly shines as one of Poland's most beautiful destinations! A must-visit for anyone seeking beauty and culture in Poland!
In Gdańsk there is also falowiec - one of the longest (i think second) buildings in Europe. Maybe it’s not really pretty but it’s still fascinating and worth to see it. You have to visit also stocznia gdańska - it’s historical shipyard converted to some kind of party place for young people with unique vibe. I don’t know if you know but Gdańsk is connected with another cities - Sopot and Gdynia. Sopot is perfect place to chill and Gdynia is city of modernism. You must come back here in the future! but i’m glad you enjoyed anyway☺️
cheers from Poland! :) thanks for this vid guys!
YES ❤ and its complex history is super interesting too 👍
Sammy in tommy good mornig friends from new york looking at their glass with that delicious breakfast to explore the city
Thank you friend! Hope you're doing well in New York!
You guys vlogs are literally awesome
It's amazing 🤩
Love the videos you produce. I wanted to comment on how much I love the shots of locals that you do. It really adds a lot to the flavor of the areas. Keep it up!
Thank you very much 😃 Taking shots of locals is my new favorite thing and a great way to meet new people! Appreciate the encouragement

check out Sandomierz city
Uwielbiam wasze filmy❤Pozdrawiam was👍
Dziękuję bardzo
Excellent ❤
Thanks 😊
Sammy and Tommy - I have been following your videos of all your travels for some time. And I just loved what you said - “It’s always about the people not the destination”. It’s not cheesy, it’s emotional. That really hits the nail on the head and I love so much how your videos have always been kind and positive to the locals of each destination you visited. My partner and I enjoyed the locals we met in our travels to Peru and Vietnam as we always take back those reflections more so than the landmarks. It really gives you a new perspective in live and that is always going to be beautiful to us. From Denmark, Cam ơn - Muchas gracias - Merci - Danke - Tusind Tak - Dziekuje bardzo - Thank You
What’s an amazing comment! Thanks for making our day 🤗 we agree you always remember the experiences with people way more so then the landmarks :) Cam ón 🙏 Thanks for the love!
Thank your video,Smart Poland Train,My country haven't Smart Poland Train from Myanmar.❤
I'm starting the Let's Save Our Ears campaign! The city should issue a street artist certificate. Only those who have talent could fill the sound space for tourists and city residents.
Imagine listening to this violin while hungover on a hot day. OMG, just kill me!
No more noise pollution
AMAZING this city is far the Best city in this country I were in Gdańsk many Times but after this wideo im sure i would Come for sure this summer
What a delicious donut you eat, friend. I admire your videos, they are of good quality. I see that they film with something in their hands, but I don't know what camera they use.
Best donuts ever 🤤 You're too kind! The camera you're talking about it the insta 360 x3
A ja najbardziej lubię polskie plaże. Tylko tutaj jest niepowtarzalna kombinacja zapachu sosnowego lasu z zapachem powietrza morskiego.
I live in the past in Gdańsk, that was lovely time 😊
🎉❤
Wawooo really beautiful 😍
It's so great to see that people are still interested in the history. I live a little further South from this city and been there twice. You just made me want to go there once more. :)
The guys singing were from Ukraine - for those viewers who thought this is the polish language. We have loads of them from obvious reasons.
I've heard about Manekin and their crepes. This is definitely my type of food - meat, veggies and carbohydrates from the crepes. Naleśnik is usually something between a crepe and a pancake (sort of). You both have a positive energy and it was so comfortable to watch. You're always welcome in Poland!
Thank you so much for your kind words! The crepes were sooo yummy!
Hope,I go there someday, because I am so missed my daughter....i almost die
I've just re-watched this video, as we were in Gdansk last weekend. I stood at the Doughnut shop and said to my wife: 'I think that's where Sammy & Tommy ate their doughnuts' 😄 The Pierogi was good, especially the Ukrainian Potato & Cottage Cheese one. We also did the Pirate ship tour up to Westerplatte 👍
Aw wow, you guys did the pirate ship tour, that looked like fun! Hahaha can't keep me away from those donuts! Glad you guys enjoyed your visit! 💞
What are Ukrainian pierogi?!😂 People , get over yourselves and stop writing nonsense?!😂
best one !!
Love to hear it thank you!
Love your channel! Bingewatching since yesterday :) Great editing, good music, nice pace... Glad you enjoyed Poland! Too bad you spent only one day in Warsaw, but I understand that Krakow or Gdansk are getting more love. Different vibe :) Feel free to hit me up if you want to see some less touristic spots next time. And thanks for motivating me to go and visit Slovakian part of Tatry mountains! ❤
Gedansk❤ I will find this city
Very nice video
Long time ago on Stogi Plaża was Naturist Beach there was plenty of people. And you should go and check WW2 Museum and also Museum of Stocznia Gdańska.
Hii greetings from Indonesia 🇮🇩
i was there❤ it is a beautiful place
I like soooo smart city❤
5:08 Ukrainian song "One viburnum" by S. Rotaru is beautiful.
Amazing video
Glad you think so 😊 Thanks for watching!
Отличное и очень красивое видео
Ya’ll are fun to watch. Great photography too. It’s more xpensive during the Dominican fair. Less so a month or two later. Not too long ago it wasn’t expensive at all but first the nordics discovered it then the rest of the Europeans and now the world. It’s gotten too touristy during high season like any great place
do you ever visit popular stuff, but never film/post it?
like i've always wanted to visit krakow for auschwitz and the salt mine
Yes we usually only film one day a week or so but still visiting and traveling to many other places.
Very nice video sir
I like so beautiful city ❤
You're such a sweet couple ❤
8:49 was there during vacations, got drunk with friends and met guy from malesia and other one from denmark, ive never spoken so much english lmao, and yeah, in fact those shots are very good there :D
You are so funny, nice to watch this video.
When in Gdańsk you should visit KL Stuthoff. Very close to Gdańsk
Do you know if there's some kind of City Card that lets you visit the main attractions and use the public transport?
For me it is the most beautiful and safe city in the world 🤪
jak tylko podali te naleśniki to wiedziałem, że to manekin.
Gdansk and Wroclaw numero uno.
When it comes to Westerplatte, it's the same as if a Pole visited Pearl Harbor... he doesn't understand any of it😒
Pearl Harbor to jest to miejsce w którym Japończycy zrobili nalot na USA i w odwecie USA odpowiedziało atakiem jądrowym na te dwa słynne japońskie miasta?🤔
Can you use usd everywhere or you got to exchange to their currency?
My city 😊
No , no Bursztynowa. Mariacka street 😬
Nice
OMG, I love duck, I have often in UK 😊, making by myself, because in UK hard find place that they will make in proper way duck. 😂
Beautiful lady🙂
No waaaay.Henry Cavill drinking Vodka in my country 😂😂😂..Cheers mate 😊
4:58 ❤❤
I have been there twice and I'll go again, but I must confess I loved Wroclaw more than Gdanzk but both are stunning cities
BEZAPELACYJNIE .....
GDANSK ...jest najpiękniejszym miastem w Polsce .
Moje ukochane miasto !!❤
how can you buy Polish domestic train tickets in advance? They don't seem to be sold online.
As an Indian, I personally love Poland’s foreign policy. I am a huge fan of Dominik Tarczyński.
Gdansk revelation but no one told you that half of the residents want to escape because it stinks from the dump Szadolki, for this you have a beautiful cold sea to which flow poop river from all over Polish, for this one meter of housing you can buy 2 meters in Valencia, and at the end you can drink a cold beer on the beach for 4 euros, While at the beach Amadores in Las Palmas costs 2 euros.GREETINGS FROM POLAND.🤣🤣🤣🤣
👍
