Thanks this helped me to clean up my fans :) It was quite difficult to pup that panel, I was worried that I will break something but then I figure out it to open. Closing was also an adventure :) aligning it back was not easy too, but now I have faaar better temps and fans noise than before.

What if my MacBook Pro has only 4 screws on the back cover instead of 10? When I try to pull the back cover off a MacBook Air with 10 screws, it lets me easily pull the back cover off safely. But for my MacBook Pro with only 4 screws on the back cover, I am unable to pull it off.

Heyho, nice, thanks bro. although you damaged the lower cover plate...! I careful opened mine and would lshare my experince with all the other who are aiming to clean their MacBook.
After lifting the plate as shown in the video I used wooden chopsticks to further open the plate. The reason for this is, there are two clips in the middle of the outer edge of the plate that tightens the plate with two tiny metal clips (left & right) to a pin on the frame. So, after lifting the front end I carefully slided the chopsticks let's say somehow diagonal from center to the outer side so that the bottom plate clicks off the clip on each side. Finally you easily can push the bottom plate off. Therefore I also used my shopstics since it needed some leverage.
When remount the plate be careful. do not press the clips before sliding in place the back of the plate. Cheers

Jeez... maybe you should have read up before attempting this! I'm pretty sure MacBook's have used a similar mechanism for attaching the bottom cover for a long time, so the "sliding" part isn't specific to the 16" MBP. For anyone else out there DO NOT follow these instructions, Apple don't sell bottom covers on their own and used ones will not be around for a few years at least.
