The sound of 22 f1's engine, when the lights went out... you know that evil is comming for ya
Huh? Such a stupid comment.
Oh how I love that track and wish I could view it live like you! Fantastic video! Thank you!
Its absolutely insane how loud they are even on the start, and you're at Eau Rouge
In the 80ies, when F1 was still visiting Zandvoort, I could hear as a kid - on the balcony of our house - the F1 cars race on the track more than 8 kms away...
On the other side of the city....
@@staalman Yes I lived 12km away and could still hear them (in 80's /90s). Without ear plugs at the circuit, actually painful to the ears! Amazing sound. Even with ear plugs it was loud.
that radillion actually
My eardrums are gone and I love it
Essa curva é o maior ícone da F1!!!
I was at Imola in 2002, the villeneuve curve for the start, my nana had just past away back in canada. She helped grow my love for sports.
I had a tear in my eye when they roared past the first lap.
Man everytime i hear the old F1 Sound,i get goosebump
Don’t know how many times I’ve watched this video.
I can't describe the feeling by just watching this. Would've loved to hear the rawr of these engines. I hear this with my eyes about to drop some tears.
Back when F1 cars sounded great. Today's cars may go fast, but they sound like they are powered by a rubber band.
They approached the turn with such ferocity, unbelievable. The sound? Amazing! Those days are gone forever.
F1 just isn’t the same anymore. I’ve watched F1 since Mario Andretti raced, but now it just seems so bland. Saddens me greatly. Love this video! The excitement building up as you hear them coming!
If you want bland, watch some of the E racing .
The best sounds on the most beautiful circuits in the world.
After watching this about 10 times it would nearly bring me to tears, thinking of the people there, huddled shoulder to shoulder on those stands, the joy of and thrill of seeing an amazing sporting spectacle like this.
Will it ever happen again? 😭
It will, but we need to kill off the stupid who don't understand the concept of taking your needs back in favour of the society.
There are still people partying around, no masks, no distance, no nothing, and they wonder, why we still need lockdowns...
Because you guys don't want to stay the fuck home!!
@@ferrari2k horrendous thing to say 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
@@naiboz I know and you are right. It's just... I am so angry about these people that I sometimes say things I don't really mean.
But what needs to happen is that these people must be socially unacceptable for the future.
When someone decides not to play a part in society than no one should play a part in their life.
@@ferrari2k Fell for the indoctrination, have you?
@@thomasaantjes482 Just hush, go back to your cave.
Was there - the magic of those engine sounds at that track. Remember getting to the track by foot , long walk from.the parking areas. You would hear the engines being upshifted in the distance a good 10 minutes before you saw a car. Pure magic
I was at this GP also. I was up the hill from Eau Rouge . Great weekend 👍
Wow this literally made my spine tingle. I’ve finally found some ASMR that works.
That is amazing. I do miss the sound of the V8's.
That was great! Thank You for posting this
I've missed this sound since 2014.
I have been there live at every race in Spa since 2013.
I have just got back from spa there’s a few of us that go with motorbikes and just amble around it when you see what these F1 cars do you realise more you do just amble around on any motorbike compared to these guys!! What a noise! What a place! Amy from Liverpool
Bro my sixth senses kicked in
My god was there in 2011 ,gave me goosebumps, watched it about ten times. Bring the noise back. They can do it ,vettel drove Mansels Williams car at Silverstone on sustainable fuels . Best sound in the world ❤
The downshifts on these cars sounds like a shotgun going off. The whole V10 experience was visceral.
Dont know if this part of the track is still part of a public rd ,
I went on it back in 91/92
Camera angle doesn't show the true steepness and curve of it .
And that when Grosjean K.O.ed Hamilton and Alonso, and was fined €50,000 and banned from Monza.
Haha! I was almost at exactly the same spot as you were. A little to the right and a little higher up. It was a great view! such a great experience sitting at Eau Rouge!
This is no sound, just pure F1 eargasm. As long as you haven’t been to Spa you cannot understand that religion...
I'm sure that everything YOU say must be the gospel. Phucking POSEUR.
What an utterly frightening sound! Reminds me of my first experience of motor racing when my dad took me to an event at the old Crystal Palace circuit in 1970. The noise was ear splitting and I remember crying although I still enjoyed it!
Best fan video on youtube!
The way the front end gets into that corner is almost un-natural. A huge combination of mechanical grip, aero grip and commitment. !
What a beautiful noise, pity they won't sound like that ever again.
You don't know that.
I don't care if it nearly splits my eardrums, even with plugs in...........this sound has been lost forever, so I'm chuffed I saw Spa and many British GPs as well with the old cars of Mansell, Schumacher, et al! What a shame the youngsters will never experience the scream of a Ferrari V12 on song!
My favorite track. I remember they used to race the 500 GP bikes here.
Sad thing is we’ll never see/hear this again
I did not know how bad i miss that sound of the V8 until now
About nine or ten years ago at the Spa 6 hours historic meeting (used to be free!) they started the Group C cars as a rolling start past the old pits. The sound, echoing in that covered grandstand, was both deafening and glorious as they accelerated down to Eau Rouge.
0:22 “go on jenson”
Ha love them days of f1 with in and Hamilton in mclaren
I was right there, at that exact corner!
Is that Latifi 10 seconds behind Joy riding while everybody else races lmao ha ha ha
I am so grateful I got to hear these sounds in person back in the day.
I think they're reacting to the crash in the first corner when Grosjean took out about 5 cars along with Alonso ….One of the reasons he lost the WDC that year!...But the sound was one of the most impressive things about an F1 car! before 2014
I thought he was saying oh my god to the noise, but then noticed the accident on the monitor screen thing lol
Forever lost, never forgotten!!
If you like this you would have liked the 500cc two-stroke GP bikes. They were an ear-shattering swarm of bees at the start.
I would love to go to Grand Prix but miss this sound.
