    Thank you! I am really new to airsoft and this helped me a lot. I couldn't even fathom lubing my airsoft glock before watching this. Now the slide moves smooth and the trigger doesn't get stuck.

      You are welcome! Think of it as a real fire arm, these also need to be cleaned and lubed up to function properly.

    • @MaxCherepenin
      @MaxCherepenin  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Really depends on how much you us it, it you put 1000 to 3000 shots a week, i would probably clean it weekly lol again this is heavy use in my opinion to fire that many shots from a Gbb. Or if you notice contaminants, its probably time. Just make sure to wipe everything clean before applying the lubricant.

      you can, i never did and it worked just fine. If you feel like the spring is sticking, then you can add some. I know in cases like that, I did end up putting a little bit of lubricant.

    • @MaxCherepenin
      @MaxCherepenin  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Non-blowback models typically are built this way with a small mag. This is much different than the blowback in this video, Blowback will have that more realistic function that mimics a real fire arm with full slide lock and blowback action when fired.

      Hmm hard to say, both of them are fun pistols! I would say g26 because they are beasts with an extended mag. Since the mag has so much more gas inside it makes the slide move on the g26 at an extreme rate of fire. You should check out my shooting demo of this pistols its pretty epic!

    • @MaxCherepenin

      You have to make sure you clean all the old oil/lubricant first. Otherwise there will be alot of contaminants when you apply the new lubrication.

      It's literally the same for EVERY SINGLE GUN
      Take it apart
      Lube the moving metal on metal parts with a safe grease like lithium grease
      Lube the O-rings with an oil that will not damage them, 100% silicone oil is best and cheap
      If you're afraid of damaging your O-rings with the lithium grease just spray silicone oil on everything instead
      Just be aware silicone oil dries faster and attracts more dirt so you will have to clean and respray it like twice a season
      Protip
      Don't buy green gas
      Use propane
      This way you won't get silicone oil inside your barrel and everywhere else you don't want it
      I had been using just propane for several months without lubing or maintenance and had only 1 magazine start venting, after inspection I found it had come loose and was not damaged at all
      Add your own oil or use green gas once or twice a season to lube the magazine o-rings and you should be golden

    *sigh* silicone spray isn't preferred for this. Use 100% silicone oil (light to medium viscosity) for the orings and some white lithium grease or silicone grease for sliding parts and moving parts. Trust me, it is much better than silicone spray.
