    For those in the states, the Nespresso Creatista is under the Breville brand name. In the UK, it's under Sage.

    Consider name placards to reduce confusion. Constant references to "this" machine, you lose me.

    Was torn between the creasta plus and an actual espresso machine in John Lewis today. Decided on the premium nespresso creasta. I leave early for work every morning and want to grab a coffee before I leave the house. Nespresso is a perfect compromise for convenience with the pods - haven’t got time to grind beans, set the coarse level, packing down the coffee etc - creasta makes fantastic coffee and a range of customisable drinks

      My wife says the same… the last thing she wants to do first thing in the morning is have to start grinding beans. She needs her coffee quickly ☕️😅😁

    Just wanted to thank you and your good wife (and cinematographer) for your factual everyday reviews. I've had a Latissima Touch for 4 years and your vides have helped me make the decision to upgrade to a Creatista Pro. I'll have to wait until Christmas to try it but you putting it top of your list gives me confidence it's going to be a great machine.

    I've only recently switched over to Nespresso, and I've really enjoyed your channel. My decision came down to the Citiz and the Creatista Pro. I found that if you already have or plan to get a separate frother, the Citiz is bulletproof, doesn't care about the size of the mug and isn't expensive at all for a machine that's going to last for years. The all-in-one option for me is the Creatista Pro. The ease of use of the Pro touchscreen and the cleaning steps and diagrams help me maintain it, which I think is critical as Capsule machines with built in steaming and frothing seem to be more prone to failure judging by the reviews (maybe they aren't being maintained). The Pro has more space for setting the mug and milk jug that I appreciate, the hot water channel, bigger water tank, and can save my milk and coffee settings.

      Thanks for sharing your thoughts Greg and glad you've enjoyed the videos. The Creatista Plus is a great machine too but the touchscreen and extra room does give the pro the edge doesn't it.

    Which cofemachine would you recommend if you are looking for a machine that can make lattes and capuchinos? Lattissima one, gran Lattissima or nespresso atelier? Which from these 3 is the best in your opinion? Which has the best milk froth and hottest temperature?

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi 👋 From those 3 I’d say either of the Lattissimas depending on how much coffee you drink and therefore how big you want the frother to be. We do have a video where we compare the Gran Lattissima with the Creatista Plus though in case that’s of interest with them being a similar price.

    Thank you for the detailed, real-life comparison between these machines.
    There are more Nespresso machines our there (ex.: Creatista Uno), but these are staple ones, and all comments are excellent points.
    And we don't have the budget to buy all these machines and do those comparisons ourselves. So: THANK YOU!
    This being said... We live in strange times, when you stop and think that people justify spending hundreds more for a machine that heats up 20 seconds faster or take 1 less minute and 2 less steps to make a good cup of coffee. Performance over quality. Speed over contemplation.
    10 minutes more, I'd say sure. But 1 or 2 minutes? Nahhh, not worth hundreds more.
    I have an Inissia, and I use those 20 extra seconds to get my cup out, warm it up in the sink and prep the capsule.
    Not criticizing you specifically, but the fact that it's even a sales argument in the first place.

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No it's fine, thanks for the comment. I know the Creatistas are a lot more and totally understand where you're coming from. One thing I hope you don't mind me saying is that the Creatista does have a steam wand and that really does make a really nice silky milk froth compared to the aeroccinos. It is still a lot to pay, though, especially when you come to the Creatista Pro and then you really are talking hundreds of pounds more just to gain a bit of extra space, a touch screen and being able to make 2 cappuccinos probably 20 or 30 seconds quicker than you could on the Creatista Plus.

I don't care much about aesthetics, the quality of the espresso shot is what's most important to me. • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there. For me the Creatista Plus offers quite a few more froth settings and temperature settings than the Creatista Uno. Also the preset coffee options on the Plus and having the screen to guide you through them all (and descaling etc.) just seems to make the Creatista Plus a much better machine for not that much extra money. That being said, though, I never got around to buying and reviewing the Creatista Uno for these reasons. May be worth getting one in the near future to see if there are any benefits I'm missing.

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah that's definitely a dilemma 😅 If you do go for one with a built in frother there's also a difference in froth and heat of the milk between the Lattissima and Creatista. If I had give a personal order of preference for me it would be 1) the steam wand on the Creatista 2) Aeroccino4 and 3) Lattissima but hope the rest of the videos on the channel help you to decide. I'm not exactly sure what the connection is with them all but I know that the Sage Creatista machines (UK) are branded up as Breville in the US. It's been mentioned to me in the past that the Essenza mini from Krupa and Magimix are actually the same internal machine, made in the same factory but branded up differently, but again not 100% sure. Hi Bro, amazing informative videos, i just need an advise. i have latissima Touch and the only issue i have is it doesn't make hotter coffee, it comes out luke warm. i am not so much confused being in the limited budget, I have an option of Citiz & Milk / Creatista Uno or Gran Lattisima if it comes better hot temprature than my touch one. Would be great if you can help on that. P.S in summers i prefer iced lattes.

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks mate and sorry for the delayed reply. If you mean the actual espresso comes out luke warm then we do have a video on how to make it a bit hotter which people have found useful. Also subscribers have left extra tips in the comments on that video like warming the cups first etc.
      If you're talking about the milk based drinks though, then I personally like the creatista machines which use the steam wand as I find they get really hot.
      For my own iced lattes I don't tend to froth the milk and again have made a video showing that. If you want to froth the milk though, then you might be better off with an aeroccino4 and Citiz as a happy medium, as that can get a little hotter than the aeroccino3 but also froths cold milk (unlike the creatista).
      Hope this helps a bit, it's a complicated question 😅

      Hi there. We have a VS video on the channel showing the Creatista Plus and Pro a bit more mentioning the differences between the machines. Basically, though, there is a touchscreen on the Creatista Pro and it's bigger in every way really - water tank, width, capsule holder - and my Pro model can brew coffee and steam milk at the same time (which saves time especially when making a double espresso milk based coffee). I"m not sure the US model can do that, however, as it puts too much load on the electrical circuits over there from what I've been told. I found the milk a bit silkier on the Creatista Plus and my Plus also made a hotter espresso too. The Plus was louder, though. Hope this helps but do check out that other vid if you have more questions 👍

Don’t know if you’ve found this but it’s also difficult when looking at the specs online as was just looking on Amazon then and it gave 2 different heat up times within the same listing. It’s possible they may be the same machine just branded differently but the things I would look for are which one heats up quicker and whether one has a bigger water tank than the other (found different info on different retailers). So just fill the water tank to the top and then tap the button 3 times with no capsule in to run a cycle of water through into a jug. Hi. The stomach pain my wife had actually came from the milk froth created by the aeroccino milk frothers. She found the froth too airy and it gave her an upset stomach. Since having the Creatista machine she can drink the froth from the steam wand on that machine fine, as it's a lot less airy and she now rarely uses the Vertuo machine. Hope this helps.

      I found that flipping the lower grill upside down reduces the slipping. The bottom side seems to be less smoothly finished than the top side. At least on the Citiz I have, doing this has significantly reduced how much a cup moves around on the lower shelf.

    @Modderz4ReeL 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Hi there, thank you for the reviews and covering everything in-depth on the channel, I definitely need to buy you a cup of coffee at this rate! I have a Vertuo Next and have had a mostly positive experience with some crema issues. I like long, simple coffees for the most part but do like the occasional specialty drink. I have a separate frother and struggle with actually making consistent froth or pouring in the right amount, which has the Creatista's and Lattisma's tempting me. I'm not sure if I should go for a Citiz though as its cheaper, I'm not sure the Lungo's will be long enough for my liking but can always supplement that with the vertuo.
    Adding an edit: I know the Creatista's can do long coffee's but do you find it comparable to the vertuo? I'd love to have one machine for most that can do everything but don't want to sacrifice taste of a long coffee

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Difficult question this one as - while the Creatista Pro does have a long black option - they do taste very different to the Vertuo. I tried a mug sized Colombia against a Columbia long black from the Creatista earlier to test it and personally I preferred the Creatista one but had to add at least 3 Nespresso pods to get to the kind of intensity (poured it to 230ml like the mug sized pods using a marker on the recipe glass 😅) the Vertuo has. You can make the same coffee with the Citiz as it’s just adding espresso to water at the end of the day, which can come from the kettle or just pouring water from the Citiz with no pod in. As for the milk, the Creatista makes a nice silky milk and I much prefer it to the Lattissima milk in texture and heat, but you do still have to pour it yourself which you obviously don’t with the Lattissima. Appreciate it might be confusing but hope this helps a little bit. Maybe start off with a cheaper OriginalLine machine and see if you can make a longer coffee you’re happy with and then could maybe upgrade later if you get results you’re happy with for longer coffees, but if not you’ll still have the machine for espresso and compatible pods (or could sell it even) and would still have your Vertuo.

      @@A2BProductions ah OK, thanks. it's confusing because I've only had a second-hand Tassimo machine to compare to! I think I want something quietish costing £60-80ish although could go higher, and with affordable pods.
      At the moment I buy bulk espresso tassimo pods and then add my own milk. I like cappuccino and lattes best.
      I heard original pods are cheapest but other people say that's because you get less coffee inside and that it equals out. Also that the 3rd party pods can't br recycled or might even damage the machine!
      So... a bit confused!! Maybe the Mini.

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sounds like the Essenza Mini would work for you. Really quiet introductory machine that doesn't cost the earth and you can try out compatible pods with, without the worry of damaging an expensive machine. The original pods may have less coffee in than Vertuo but an espresso is and espresso at the end of the day, as long as it tastes good to you. I much prefer the taste of the original pods myself - have compared some on the channel - and the crema is more natural than the Vertuo too. VertuoLine machines are built more for mug sized coffees really.
      Also when it comes to 3rd party pods, the cheap plastic ones - or metal reusable ones - might risk damaging the machine but think the ones from some of the big brands should be fine and can also be recycled - like the L'or ones through their own recycling service. Some compatible pods are also biodegradable now too, wouldn't want to comment on machine damage with these though as not too sure. Should state I'm not and engineer, just trying to help 😅

The main difference I can see between the Creatista Uno vs Plus is the amount of milk temperature and froth levels on the machines. The Plus has 8 froth texture levels and 11 temperature levels whereas the Uno only had 3 of each I think. Whether you need the extra levels depends on how you plan to use the machine and how much control you want I guess. Hope this helps but will try and get hold of an Uno soon and do a few videos with it.

The Creatista Plus is still a great machine if you want to save the money. The Uno has also been mentioned a few times in the comments but I've never tried it, so reluctant to recommend it right now. Hi there, glad the videos have been helpful! The half price machines I mentioned were a limited time deal from Nespresso direct where you could take out a no contract subscription with them. You could make one subscription payment and then cancel it if you didn't want to continue, though they usually offered a free travel mug if you continued the subscription until the 3rd month.
      Amazon is a funny one as sometimes they have great deals and on other machines they can be more expensive - at least here in the UK - and the prices change regularly too. I picked up a Lattissima Touch recently for a great price for example - review coming soon - and noticed a cheap Creatista Plus (black truffle) while browsing but others were more expensive.
      I keep getting asked about a release date for the Creatista Pro in the US and Canada you know but sadly I have no idea when it's coming, thought it would be with you by now but guess the current situation has caused delay.

That will be stronger but if you're looking for even more intensity then try the same combo with the Napoli pods instead. I'm sat here sipping on the Napoli version now and tastes good to me but arpreggio tasted ok too. Be good to hear what you think.

      Hi mate I tried both Napoli and arpeggio . You were right if you use 2 capsules they taste pretty good. Thanks a lot for your advice. By the way when can I expect next podcast? I really enjoyed your last one.

    What about the inissia?

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah we reviewed the Inissia recently. Think I prefer it to the Essenza Mini for the coffee it made and seemed fairly durable, but then it is quite a loud machine and find the flick handle on the Essenza Mini a little easier to operate.

    All due respect, I don't know where you're coming up with these prices. On Amazon today. Citiz by Breville: $400. Creatista Plus: $600. Those are not the prices you're talking about in the video.

      Hi David. The prices were in UK pounds and not dollars on this video but still may have varied a bit since the date the video was made.

    Did you get a refund on the Next ? I’ve had it just over a week and I’m thinking the same

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah mine came direct from Nespresso and I sent it back for a refund. I explained the problem with the crema to the customer service team and also mine wouldn't connect to the app via bluetooth properly either.

    Hi. I find your channel really informative. i've just moved to Nespresso and started with the Essenza mini, primarily because of space. Now a question that you may, or may not be able to answer. i notice on the Nespresso website that there are now three versions of the Vertuo Next. The Next, Next Premium and the Next Deluxe. Do you know if there is any significant differences between them as they seem to be offered at a good price at the moment.
    Regards, Steve

      Cheers Steve, glad you're enjoying the videos. I have asked Nespresso this question in past and they said the actual machine is the same with each, it's just the finishes / trims that are different.

    The expert is significantly quieter than my previous Nespresso machine and a bit over engineered. The build quality isn’t great but since it punches the pod and disposes of it for you I suppose that doesn’t matter as much.

    How/where did you get 50% off for one of those machines?

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That was a deal direct from Nespresso. You had to take out a no contract £25 monthly subscription but there was no obligation to keep it after the first month.
