I can’t wait to get a nice gun one day. I’m using a sata nr95. I’m 1 year into my paint career and I’m 23 with a son so I’m super broke but one day I’ll get me a dv1 or a sagola
I've got 3 I run daily DV1 B 1.3 and 1.4 and a DV1 Clear. The difference in the 1.3 and the 1.4 tips for base is crazy, almost a toyally different gun to me but I love it. The c1 clear really is too flat for the cars I spray. Curious how the C1 plus compares to the previous versions. Thanks for the look Gunny appreciated as always.
I too prefer the C1 cap and 1.2mm nozzle. You got to go a little slower but I like it. Love my DV1-B with B plus and 1.3mm for base as well. Lays pearls and metallics better than anything i ever used.
DIY at home in Perth with 3 x 80's W126 classic V8 Mercs. prepping my 89 midnight blue 560SEL for full repaint and then going to respray my 88 040 black 560SEC. Main guns i have bought over time is ANI F160 1.3 / Devilbiss ProLite with range of caps / Devilbiss GPI 1.4 & 1.6 caps / Sagola T/Truck Ltd edition 1.2 & 1.3 caps. Other guns i have bought & tried are Ronpeng R500 & A610 with various caps & NTools NVE 1.3. Own other guns dedicated just for hi-build primer. Majority of my gun collection has been from your gun reviews over the yrs as have watched your channel forever since you started back Perth. I have access to a Pro spray booth in Balcatta that is hired out as well as spraying in my home dble garage for primer work. Both cars i want a show car glass finish & happy to put as much post painting wet sanding & cut & buff as required to get a good resullt. Don't see the need for buying any of the latest variation of guns coming onto the market for guys like me who are backyard DIY enthusiasts. What do you think
Definitely, these limited edition guns are mainly for people who don't mind spending the few extra dollars but will get the use out of it. For you, just treat it like any other tool, purchase on performance not looks.
I recently got the New School edition along with the Durbz Custom edition Eventually i want to get the old school edition eventually for the collection
Have to agree also DV1 on base cannot be beat. I run a few of them. My series 2 Iwata digital hasn’t come off it’s stand since I bought it as the DV1 base is just better
Love devilbiss have a few of them .best guns..but this week ill bought sata cc .because of your review..go to paint some shit with it. Thanks gunman. Best channel.
My DV1 fan adjuster not working😓 ive tried to fix but nothings happen., i put new spreader valve but still not working. Can anyone help me please🙏🙏🙏.. my two DV1 got the same issue
That's a nice looking gun but as you say the old GTI one still looks better, I like my DV1 guns I use the C1 cap with a 1.3 tip which gives me the nice flat finish I'm looking for and the DV1 base gun with the B+ cap is usually the only gun I use for base👌👍John UK
My coworker pointed out that the design on my old school doesn't look like a guy with a facemask, but instead looks like a guy sitting on his knees with his ass out and i cant unsee it
Pro lite is still hard to beat if you can justify the cost. If that's too much look at the GPi. Even ANi have some awesome options and they punch above their weight on performance.
Thanks for your reply I was thinking of the FLG 5, any thoughts on that from my needs? I will look into the ones you’ve mentioned and see witch matches my budget.
@@TheGunmanChannel sorry I was watching it with volume down, that was written on the screen. My wife hates when I crank up the volume of hissing of gun.

Hey mate, can you review this spray gun from Harbour Freight? It is the Black Widow HTE 2.0. Seems to be creating quite a buzz.
I've still got my nebula pro lite, but I missed the boat on getting a vigilante 😢

My boss bought the sata universe and it’s just like the standard gun no special features or anything!
Completely agree on the Sata Universe. I think it looks ridiculous! 😂
Great review as usual Gunny. Have a great weekend legend.
Sata jet 1500 b rp 1.3. Vs. Devilbiss gpc 1.3

I have the GTI and GPI but really should have got the limited edition steampunk also lol
Can you use the old school base for clear as well?
@@skinnerboy1011 you definitely can mate
@@TheGunmanChannelthank you!
Hi Gunny when you first have a brand new Gun do you have to spray thinners thought it before you start to spray any paint or lacquer. Cheers Rob
Not with the top of the line guns, but definitely on the cheap ones they're drenched in oil
I have been trying to contact spray guns direct and they do no answer my emails.
My coworker pointed out that the design on my old school doesn't look like a guy with a facemask, but instead looks like a guy sitting on his knees with his ass out and i cant unsee it
Lol 😆 I had another look and still can't see it, I'm glad
Hi Gunnie can you recommend a good reasonably priced gun to spray mostly 2k solid colours and the odd solvent clear of base jobs? Thanks

@@Hansblinkers how could I have forgotten, that is still one of my favourite guns, definitely highly recommended
Im going to have to buy one of these now 😂
When are you going to do a new gun review on black widow lol it’s a new series 2.0 every TH-camr is doing a review
I'm 7 years experience car spray painter, I wish I could work with your company
Why do painters buy so many spray guns?? I’ve always wondered why! It’s like an addiction or something right??
Probably 😆
2.6 Bar is Not 29PSI
I said 38psi/2.6 bar, if I don't say that I must have misspoke

Just stop oil ❤
Go away
Lunatic is typing that on his iPad or phone which is made from oil 😂, probably sat in clothing and have shoes on made from oil 😂🛎🔚
