Thank you!! You helped me figure out why mine kept breaking too.

OMG GIRL! YOU SAVED ME! I just got this machine and was ready to throw it out the window until I came across your video and looked at the spring inside my bobbin! This machine is only one week old, and I cannot believe my spring has lifted up and all I had to do was push it back into the bobbin! I know this video is three years old, but it has amazingly changed my life for the better! I wish you the very merriest Christmas ever and the very best. Happy new year also thank you so much. You can’t imagine how much I appreciate it!

That fixed it! I had been struggling all day. My concern was something had been damaged moving the machine around on Sunday. Not the case. Well actually it was the case lol. I've ordered more of those springs...they are far from robust!!

Thank you very much for the video. Finally I've found a probe that my bobbin case is broken. I hace another question, with the broke bobbin case did you noticed that the bobbin is loose and makes strange noise?

Can you tell me what size of bobbin do I get for a Janome mb-4? I have purchased 3 different bobbins and they will not fit. I like the magnetic ones but can’t seem to find the correct one.

Hello Cynthia….I’m not sure about the sizing but I do have a parts number for the MB 4s bobbin case-Janome Part number 770590000 it’s typically less than $50 and i purchased mines at Ken’s Sewing Center

I think it still a good beginner machine but I do wish I could afford a machine with more needles so I don’t have to rethread as often…hope this helps

I just ran across this video. Since this was 2 months ago, have you see the "Rethread" error again? I have a MB-4S that I bought used and noticed this error right away. I've rethreaded and checked bobbin. It will print for awhile and then this error displays again. Just curious if you'd have this problem again and how you resolved it. Thanks

Hello...I usually don’t see it unless I’m out of bobbin but this video was the first time I realized the case may be broken because the stitches were not embroidering onto the fabric...If it happens again after rethreading I would check your tension and make your machine is clear of any dust and that you are oiling your machine regularly.
