Mate I got to play Jacks a bunch in the first few years after it opened. Being a resident of Otago (the province it's in) we got to play it on a Sunday or Tuesday for 90 bucks, with a cart. Depending on the exchange rate that's like 45 US dollars. Never stopped being blown away by the views. Great video.
Maybe 15 yrs ago, the surroundings were not as built up !! There maybe redesigns due to infrastructure ! The hills will be redesign, Glendu bay is being constructed, along with hogans gully..which is a stones throw away from the Hills..Gil Hanse design..
@henryklaubautermann209 Really great that you are an 8.8 after 1 year! I would recommend my book to you. My approach is less technical and more allowing the supercomputer of the mind to work on its own. Conscious learn is quite slow where as subconscious learning is natural and easy. Think about learning to walk as a child. Did anyone help you? Without language you figured out that very technical movement pattern. My book teaches how to get in that state of learning. Good luck with your game!
Additional question: How do you trace your shots? Can you just do it with a trackman behind you? Are there and Chester Solutions? I alsow want to strart a Chanel, as soon as i‘m ad good as you.
@henryklaubautermann209 Well I was ranked in Golf Digest as one of America's top Teachers in my state many years ago. Now my teaching is more philosophical in nature. You can read the testimonials on Amazon or listen to some of my talks on Podcasts to see where I am coming from. It really depends on what you are looking for. I don't teach technique so if that's what you are after I am not your guy. If you think there is more to this game than what you have been told then you may enjoy my approach.
@ Okay probably to cater for overseas visitors who aren’t familiar with metric. You’ll probably spend more time looking at the scenery than worrying how far it is to the green⛳️
what a smooth and efficient swing
Thanks!

@henryklaubautermann209 I use an app called shot tracer pro. Takes a little time but I think it comes out pretty well.
Graphics are wrong as in NZ we use metric not imperial measurement.
@@Ronboy69 well the scorecard they are handing out is in imperial so maybe they do both.
