  • We've made to Marrakesh, Morocco!, Join us as we experience the warmth and generosity of its people, the bustling markets, and the variety of beautiful landscapes. Marrakesh really topped all of our expectations and we are excited to head back to meet all the friends we made.
We traveled there in Sept 2022 and sadly one year later, the Atlas Mountains communities that we visited were devastated by a massive earthquake that took the lives of thousands and displaced so many others. If you'd like to help these people, please donate to these organizations focused on the recovery of the area and it's people.

Global Giving helps local nonprofit agencies collet donations to help provide survivors with food, fuel, clean water, medicine and shelter. As needs evolve, the fund will then transition to focus on recovery and rebuilding efforts, the organization said.

The High Atlas Foundation, a Morocco-based U.S. nonprofit, is providing food, water and shelter to families in the High Atlas Mountains displaced by the earthquake. The foundation is also committed to long-term restoration and rebuilding. "With years of experience transporting and distributing trees and essential supplies to these remote villages, we are uniquely equipped to procure, transport, and distribute supplies for disaster relief," the organization says. You can help the foundation reach its fundraising goal by donating here.

We are happy with your visit to Morocco. We hope that you will come back again. Just to correct the information. The berbers or amazigh did not come from any country. we are the original Moroccan population. 75% are berbers, and the rest are even berbers, but speak the frinch and Arabic languages. Perhaps you read the history in the wrong place. Even DNA experts confirm that 86% are mostly Moroccans and some others are from Europe and Central Africa, but for Arabs there is only 005%. Have a good day.
