@shawty7303, I suppose she even felt younger and remembered plenty of the year she graduated. In 1975, @ the tender age of 6, I experienced a life milestone of becoming an aunt to my oldest nephew 👶🏽💙 on 9/7/1975(Sun).

One of these nights is my favorite from this list, followed by Shining star. I wasn't born until 89, so I'm jealous of all the great music back then. And it was popular back then, not like the pop music of today.

1975 was also the year soccer began taking the first steps towards becoming a major sport in the US when the greatest soccer player of all time Pele signed with the NY Cosmos on June 10th. Even though the NASL would only last until 1984, the impact it had thanks to Pele on American soccer would eventually lead to the US hosting the 1994 World Cup & the creation of MLS two years later.

The year I was born! + 75 saw the release of Parliament"s Mothership Connection, a ground breaking funk classic that went on to influence Hip Hop & had a strong influence on tje West Coast 'G Funk' sound in the 90's.
Jimmie Johnson who was the driver of the iconic #48 Car for Hendrick Motorsports was born September 17th, 1975 Raced in the NASCAR Cup Series from 2002-2020 in which his Hall of Fame career saw 83 Wins including 2 Daytona 500s ranking him 5th on NASCAR's all time Wins list and 7 Championships which included 5 consecutive from 2006-2010
The Wonder Woman pilot was in 1975. However it did not air the next two episodes until April 1976 and was not on the weekly TV lineup until October 1976.
I'll be excited for whatever decade Weird History decides to go over after the 1970s But I feel that Weird History should complete the 1970-2020 Timeline Chain with the 2000s & the 2010s before completing the rest of the 1900s
The late great filly Ruffian won all her races in record time that year. Because of a mishap in the starting gate she broke down during the match race with Foolish Pleasure. Ruffian was pulling away from him when the breakdown occurred. Considering the Boy vs. Girl angle, I'm surprised you didn't mention her.
What do you think was the best/worst thing to happen in 1975?
My pick, punk music in the UK. Around 1975, the scene really started to go somewhere.
Wonder Woman
I think was our military coming home from Vietnam. That was the best for me.
The Best: Welcome Back Kotter and the Jefferson’s premiered this year!!

---TIMELINE ROCKS---
The Wonder Woman pilot was in 1975. However it did not air the next two episodes until April 1976 and was not on the weekly TV lineup until October 1976.
Awesome broadcast quality production!!
I'll be excited for whatever decade Weird History decides to go over after the 1970s
But I feel that Weird History should complete the 1970-2020 Timeline Chain with the 2000s & the 2010s before completing the rest of the 1900s
10 years old in 1975, awesome time to be a kid.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show debut. 😀👍
Weird history tied me up with a golden lariat and forced me to tell the truth.
I was 16 in 1975. I wish I could go back.
Same here. I was 15
OMG I was at that studio recording of Fawlty Towers (the germans) ! LOL God that brings me back. :)
You forgot to mention that The Bionic Woman made her debut in 1975.
Very interesting year! Much more than just a year before the bicentennial
It was such a fantastic year.
For my Family at least, the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald was the most significant thing to happen that year. Best of Days to all.
This is fun!! I Love these videos.....any hope for the early 2000s? Thanks
Jaws is still my favorite movie. Cookoo's Nest is great also.
Nurse Ratchet made me want to punch my TV screen lol. That woman was sadistic.
I am absolutely loving this series.
Rubik Cube and the San Diego Chicken in the same year - gotta love it
9:28 Almost the same exact injuries that Jackie Chan suffered in the 6-storey pole slide stunt of Police Story (1985).
The narrator of weird history is a man named Tom Blank. There is no known pictures of him or any known quotes by him, his name is all we have so far.
Love every one of these videos and I hope you keep em comin for a long time.
