Something I realise I forgot to include in the video, cost reduction does not decrease the price of landscapes i.e. Events and Projects, because these are not considered Cards in the game's terminology.
Yeah I always saw that as a jokey reference to the way that they are not cards according to the game despite being actual physical cards. I do like the term landscape, which I assume is based on the fact that they are printed in landscape orientation.
@@DominionCards Does that mean they use the term, "card" as something that can enter your deck? Or is there something that can be in your deck that is not a "card" in the strictest sense?
I don't play with Bridge often (because there are so many expansions and cards), but even when it first came out I never considered stacking bridges together. Wow. The card seems too powerful in my head right now. Thanks!
Somewhat minor note but for the very last kingdom analysis, militia and then masquerade right after can be pretty painful, so a deck that plays both of those every turn will be pretty good.
Just out of curiosity, do you still have time for playing dominion by making these videos? And how long do you need for lets say a 30 min video? Nice video as always
These videos haven't really eaten into my Dominion playing time, which I dont play a lot anymore these days, as if I'm in the mood to play Dominion I just do that. How long the video takes depends on the card. I try to do a bit of research to make sure the things I'm saying are true. Once I have the info, the making of the presentation, recording, editing and uploading do not take long.
The way Bridge works has always been that all cards have their cost decrease by 1, no matter where they are (on the table, in the player's hands, in their decks, and so on). However the original wording of the card had extra words to clarify that this also included other player's cards. I can only assume that this was because people used to ask questions when it came to attacks that care about the cost of your opponents cards, like Swindler or Knights.
@@DominionCards and if the other player in his turn has less money to buy_? until the round ends_? and if the other player thwors a bridge card the effect of my card ends?
When you play a Bridge, the cost reduction lasts until the end of the current turn. So if you play a Bridge on your turn, the cost reduction stops at the end of your turn, so other players do not get to benefit from it. They will need to play their own Bridges if they want cost reduction on their turn.
