Have you ever used the rb’s to shadowroot/ “zone tone” hi lighted hair and then your gg +c formula on mids to ends ? Just curious if the combo would be pretty. Btw I’m impressed with your content and am devouring all your vids.
Hi Brandy, thanks for watching and your kind words. I wouldn’t generally shadow with a red/very warm formula - I’d use something more neutral, then take that off and go over everything with the red formula.
Would this blend grey hairs on a level 4/5 natural brown auburn hair? Just have a few grey hairs coming through and looking to blend them with my natural hair…
That’s a hard question to answer, everyone’s greys “blend” differently with Shades EQ Gloss. There are a couple of dedicated grey blending with SEQG videos on here…
Hi there I bleached my dark brown hair and it's quite brassy. Varying levels of 7/8/9. I want to go strawberry blonde but also tone down the brassiness. How do I remove some of the warmth but retain enough of the warmth?
Hi there, thanks for watching. That’s a tricky one - really you need to be as light as possible before you tone. The tone of your finished result won’t be “bright” and “true” unless your about a level 9. You really need to lift lighter before toning.
@@theworldofcraig thanks so much for responding. How about if I'm trying to be multi tonal with highlights and lowlights for dimension. For those darker lowlights do you have any ideas? Thanks in advance
Hi Viola, thanks for watching. With formulas for hair colour I’m afraid it’s not a “one size fits all” situation - the colour of the hair it’s being used on makes a huge difference. Afraid I don’t know who that is…?
Hi Briana, thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. You could add a couple of capfuls of 6RB to the formula in this video…of course it depends heavily on what you’re applying it to. Check out my Instagram for loads more formulas.
Hi there. Shades EQ is a demi - it won’t lift or cover like Inoa….that’s a permanent hair colour. If you want a similar tone but in SEQG I would use perhaps 6WG - I’m afraid it’s impossible to be exact without seeing the canvas it’s going onto.
@@theworldofcraig which one do you think looks more natural? I’m asking because my hair dresser is no very familiar with reds/ copper colors, she used shades eq 7cr but she didn’t fill the hair (I was blonde like in my pic) so the color ended up very ugly so on top she used 7cc and was better but no the color that I wanted, it was more red than copper but I want is the opposite more copper than red but I don’t want orange hair either just a natural looking copper hair. Any advice?
7C is the less intense of the 2 shades. If you want a true auburn there are the AA’s or perhaps the WG’s - impossible for me to give specific formulas without being there.
Absolutely stunning color
Craig, you never disappoint 😉
Awww, thank you - you’ve literally made my day! 👨🏻🙏🏻🧡
Thank you Craig, looking forward to future installments :)

Hey Craig, can you show the formula of: Chloe Rene Hayes ?
She‘s a natural redhead ♥️

Would this work on the whole head and then adding a level 5 and 6 for the root?
It does depend on many factors, such as the canvas etc etc but yes, it’s a lovely formula.
Formula for a sun kissed strawberry blonde 🍓 (with not too much red )

Hi! Do you know What’s the difference between 7c and 7cc?
Hi there. Sure - the CC have more copper tone than the C series.
