    Great video! Just wondering, if you didn't have CB in your collection what shades would you use to make it or something very similar? To create a medium - darker copper brown level 6

      @theworldofcraig  ปีที่แล้ว

      You’re most welcome, thanks for watching.
      If you wanted an exact replica of the colours in the video, yes, the canvas would have to be at least a level 9…but the deeper formulas would give some “reflect” on a level 5/6/7.

    • @theworldofcraig
      @theworldofcraig  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you! Not necessarily - my swatches were white before colouring, you just have to take the tone/level of the hair you’re using them on into account.
      I use the very light swatches to show the underlying tone of the formula.

      Hi, you’re most welcome, thanks for watching.
      I’m afraid it’s impossible for me to give specific formula advice remotely, there’s just too much to it. If you’re as light as you say you are it shouldn’t be to tricky - you would need a level 8 with a little warm gold in it.

    Thank you for this! If you don't mind me asking, I recently got my hair permanently dyed copper with 25 vol - and I'm a bit confused about how I should maintain my lengths and roots. Would you recommend touching up only the roots with permanent color and then doing shades eq or a semi dye on the lengths and roots? Or if I'm touching up the roots do I always need to use the same permanent dye on my lengths just with a lower volume or time? Thank you so much!! :)

      You’re most welcome, thanks for watching.
      You’re on the right track…great question!
      I would refresh the root with permanent - then use a demi/gloss on the mids/ends….they don’t need as much “energy” and repeated applications of permanent colour will make them fade faster etc etc. 👨🏻🙏🏻✨

    • @veganetc8276
      @veganetc8276 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@theworldofcraig Thank you so much!! That totally makes sense, I'm just a bit nervous about the roots turning out a different color than the ends if I'm using two different dyes. Do you have any advice? :)

    • @theworldofcraig
      @theworldofcraig  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@veganetc8276If you’re only adding a little tone to the ends to refresh them they won’t be a different colour.
      If you’re concerned, refresh the root…then get a copper colour conditioner for the ends - rinse/shampoo the root, then apply the conditioner to refresh the rest.

    Question, if you are starting with level 8 copper hair, what color would you recommend to go brown from there? For a root shadow, would you just leave it on longer processing time at the roots and shorter for the lengths and ends, or use two different formulas?

    • @theworldofcraig
      @theworldofcraig  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s a big question, it depends on so many factors and colour is so subjective…
      If you want to neutralise the copper you need a formula with blue in it, as it’s the opposite…but how much depends on how copper the hair is and the result you want…?
      My toning videos (there’s a playlist) might be helpful…

    • @heatherb918
      @heatherb918 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @theworldofcraig Thanks, I've been binge watching your toner videos. The copper is equal parts of gold and red, not too dark, about a level 8. What's wanted is a light to medium brown with plenty of warmth, letting that copper shine through.

    hello, i have a question hoping you can answer.. how do you refresh shades eq after 4 weeks? first time i did level 7C with 7CC for 20 mins root to tip on dry virgin hair processed at room temp. i worry if i pull this same formula again after 4 weeks, it will cause banding and / or it to darken to a level 6! can i re-tone over the mids and ends with the same level as original? or do i need to formulate one level lighter ? can i do it on dry hair again for full 20? thanks!

    • @theworldofcraig
      @theworldofcraig  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there, thanks for watching. It’s hard for me to be specific without seeing your hair in person to be honest, there are so many factors. It would be extremely unusual for SEQG to leave a “band” - I’ve never experienced this and I’ve used it on clients for 25 years. There is a chance it could go a little deeper but it’s really a case of if you think the colour has left the hair enough to warrant another application or not…?
