Somewhere in the last 4-5 years, the cost of owning these high end bikes has increased exponentially, it has become tough to purchase a new machine (I did buy Tiger 800 in 2017, but now it is costing me really high). So now to increase sales or target more audience, these big player are launching smaller bikes which is not to the mark of their flagships. I predict that future trends does not look good. Maybe, I am wrong and looking this via different prospective, but we are loosing on quality over quantity.

I think at this price point, honda cb 500x is a favourable proposition for a touring friendly motorcycle and it doesn't exude fumes and that parallel twin engine with reliability and refinement is an icing on the cake. With much better fuel efficiency and affordable maintenance cost it really makes sense now.

Well the new triumph tiger 660 is handsome look ADV Sports tourer. The design looks sharp and it gives a big bike feel compared to Trident 660 which it is based on. Then the 660 cc triple cylinder engine it has more power, its refined and it sounds absolutely superb.even. though the weight has gone up its still an easy to Ride bike. The extra power helps the tiger go faster. The features are also its good electronics, Bluetooth, navigation, etc. Yes thier are some issues it doesn't have that ADV stands compared to its rivals and bigger tiger, it's not as off road capable, also the price is little bit higher. Still its a very good choice for those who want a good looking practical sports touring bike.

Triumph is being coy about it. The only figure we have seen is 162. But unverified.

Hi shumi, I have a question... Whenever i ride bikes on mountains, after some time My mind gets switched to "auto-drive" mode where i just follow the road and curves. I don't like that mode cause there's room for mistakes and my response time to any situation gets lower. My friends suggest me to listen to songs but that too sounds risky. What is the solution to that??

Don't 'cruise' in the mountains, that's the only way that works for me. In my first ride, I went in the auto mode and almost ended up hitting a bus turning a blind curve.

@@rutwickgangurde3247 how do you 'not cruise' ? I cant understand

@@Nikhilkumar-qj7ro I know it's difficult. What I'm trying to say is don't get into the constant speed zen like you would on the highway, keep alert and expect danger at any corner.

Why the name "TIGER" they should have introduced it by tha name " Trident 660 SPORT" with afdition of full fairing - a faired version of trident 660.
As daytona was to street triple rs.

Super review Shumi and team PD. Really loved the reviews from PD, ZW & OD on this one.
The comparison with the Versys and V Strom will be most instructive. Look forward to that one.
The 660 Tiger has its work cut out. Depending on the kind of riding / use case one has, there’s something else at a comparable price point that would likely do it better, whether its the Versys, V Strom or even the Street Triple R.
