      I dont think you will regret the GBC XCs if you go that route, they handle great and hook really good for a square nob style tire. everything wears down eventually of course but so far they have held up great. I know a guy who rode a banshee in the snow of alaska and said he was getting great traction even in 2-3 feet of fresh powder with the GBC XCs

      TrailBlogger yeah, that launch you did at the end of the vid shows how well they hook. I Don't mind a little wheelspin to keep the engine From bogging. Back when I Drag raced Nitrous Big Bore Street bikes up to about 10% wheel slippage was Ideal, it kept the engine From bogging and scrubbed the heat into the tire & kept the nose of my bike from pointing at 12 oclock. Lol. too much hook up with over a 110 horse power on my banshee, no wheelie bar or extended swinger would probably be an out of control, unpredictable Hairy ride. When you took off at the end of the vid, your wheels Had that balance of spin & traction. It was awesome! It looked like a 2nd gear start. You obviously have mean green dialed in. I've seen guys running big power get beat over & over by someone with a better set up & alot less power, because they would bog or spin the tires at 80% + slippage and break traction. I've seen guys accelerate in between shifting gears because they would regain traction when they let off. LMAO. Scratch head. Thanks for all your help in finding & reviewing a decent set of tires for my Banshee. after seeing your vid of the Gbs xcs in action, made me realize how well they perform.

    One day while I was riding my blaster it just died on me and I couldn't get it running, turned out my stator blew up on me then it vapor locked the engine. Good thing that didn't happen to you and you caught the problem before it got worse.

    I love the red RTV! Hahah, however, guys in the race shops call it "Rookie Red" lol. They say always use black or grey. IDK. Great video bud. I have the same thing going on in my 95 BMW M3 and I used the rookie red to hold that DANG woodruff key in there. I shoved in into my engine TWICE and got it out twice with a surgical magnet...Let's hope this works!!!

    Does the woodruff key have to be hammered into place or is it fine to put it just in? Thanks Dude

    • @trailblogger
      @trailblogger  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It should not need to be hammered in. The taper and nut is what keeps the flywheel tight.

    Hey trail blogger hows its holding? I'm having the same issue right now. The taper is little damaged like yours. I'm try this method and was wondering if you still have that crankshaft

    • @trailblogger
      @trailblogger  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes this fixed the problem. The cloth and compound make a perfect fit. Makes sure you properly torque it down afterwards.
