Where in god's name would you get the "most retired LEOs want this gun" crap from? How the fuck do you know "most" retired LEOs? Stupid comment with no basis in actuality.
picking up my P239 today. I've watched a lot of firearm related videos and the lighting and staging for your video was by far the best. The embroidered Sig Sauer in the background was a great touch.
Just received a 239 SAS (SRT) Gen II Two Tone with CTC Laser grips. 5 magazines. It is by far the most form fitting pistol I've ever worn. I forget its there. Just so so smooth on the side. I lay back on my couch for an hour and read and forget its there. I really know its there though when 168gr 40S&W's are flying down range. It shoots with low recoil, excellent accuracy and I never ever need to worry about needing more than 8rnds to get the job done. Another + for Sig Sauer!
Nice review love my p239, It is a little heavy but very accurate and fun to shoot. The finish is really nice almost feels soft or maybe really smooth is a better way to describe it. I wish it held a few more rounds, but it makes up for this in accuracy.
If you could have only one handgun, it should be the Sig-Sauer P-239, in .40. If you want to train with a dozen guns, there are other choices for each purpose which might be a little better than the P-239. But if you want a gun that's very easy to conceal, and you would also like it to be excellent in every other way, there's nothing as good as the P-239. Own some specialty guns if you wish, but your basic all-around favorite will soon prove to be the P-239.
had this for about 8 years... searched fore ideal grips... finally, the Hogue mascus did the trick. positive feel... negating the top heavy that is there. so the solution.... its all in the girps
I’m glad that u mentioned that it’s top heavy. I felt the same. It’s the only reason why i’m hesitating getting it. But i guess everything else (reliability, accuracy, etc.) compensates for its top-heaviness.
Sig knows their guns are top heavy. They are also very accurate and absorb recoil and get back on target quickly. Design features have to be taken as a whole package not picked apart singularly. The p239 is excellent even with today's other offerings, especially in .357 sig.
Great video! I have two SIG P239 40 pistols; one with a German made frame and the other completely American made. I love it more than any handgun I've ever owned, held, or fired. I'm looking for two more with all the spare parts and magazines I can find since SIG has dropped the P239 from production. This should get me through until the end of my life with one pistol for each 10 years until my 90's, LOL. Anyhow, I loved the video. Lastly, please tell me who made the music for the intro and closing of your video; it's awesome! Best regards
3 thoughts: 1) I believe it is anodized aluminium alloy not steel. 2) 1 minute 3 seconds for an introduction before you even start is too long. 3) Dual audio tracks at times. Not hating, just saying.
Did you have to break your 239 in? I've been having failure to feed issues. The last 3 rounds like to nose dive. Sig told me there is a 500 round break in period. Just curious if you've had any issues.
Break-in period for a Sig... never heard of such a thing unless it is a Sig 1911. I've owned 6 or 7 Sigs and never had to break them in, not even the 1911, it shot reliably right out of the box.
I love the dimensions of this sig..i just cant justify buying it bc of the low capacity as a carry piece. Something tells me to get a 226 for a safe queen/range toy/BBQ gun instead or an M11A1 for when i decide to try to lie to myself saying that it will work well as a carry piece
it's a damned good gun, but i sold it. can't trash it - it was damned good. just wasn't what i wanted. i'm small - i wanted something small and light. i got a LC9s Pro. ..... much less quality gun but i can haul it (carry it). i have other Sigs for home use. i was going unarmed because of comfort. i compromised and at least now i carry.
Love the ergonomics of the P239. It's right up there next to the Browning Hi Power
There's a reason why most retired LEO's want this particular gun. It's a phenomenal firearm and has its very own unique charisma... almost cult like.

I recently purchased one in 9mm and put a set of Karl Nill grips on it and I love it. I hope to find one in 357 sig.

Those are such nice guns. I do not own one myself but I always admire them from afar.

I want this sig in the worst way. Slim and just enough capacity to get it done

Nice pistol and video!! Good info. I picked up a P239 in 9MM. I have it on lay-a-way and will be picking it up soon.

@TheYankeeMarshal I like SIG alot, one of my favs.

Slide should be Nitron finished steel, and frame is anodized aluminum
I just bought a used one for$425.00 , looks brand new with Hogue grips in 9mm. Good vid , SIGS are great firearms.
@xxFRANKENZTEINxx What's up frankenztein? thanks for stopping by! SIGARELLA!!!
Good job on the Sig P239 review!!!

..lol, I hate putting my mag in backwards when I'm showing the gun off too...
Exactly like mine...great gun...
Great video nice editing by the way!!
Pete
That gun will shoot those groups at 25 yards plus, but for all I know that was rapid fire.
Good job on the review and thanks for sharing !
@AgentStone009 thanks man. :)

I just want to know if the sig Sauer p239 is power ful
Dude ...what is the lead in song being played here?
All my friends shoot my P239 in 9mm very well. They all want one now, despite its weight.

CLplusP m11a1 would carry a lot easier than you think.
great gun...have one myself... Mine is in 9mm.
I hope you don't think that target of yours is representative of accuracy. At 5 yards you should be shooting damn near one hole groups with the 239.
@Hiluxtaco Thanks man!

10 yards and thats it..?
..... im sorry but that suprises me. youre kidding right?
nice gun
ALL P239 frames are ALUMINUM.
Not " all stainless " .
Stanless slide with alloy frame lower.
Just saw new magazines for $19.99... for once I can get 5 mags for less than the gun.
I'm
I think you need an eye exam,if you think that is accurate.
that's a good group. where is your paper?
Take a Claritin and then make a video.
Nick Freeman Nice gun ... Dick comment.
