Dominos VS Hackers - Domino's Free Pizza Is A Perfectly Balanced Restaurant With No Exploits

  • Today we take a look at the longstanding history of Dominos and their many battles against hackers and exploiters that are trying to find ways to secure infinite free pizza or just unlimited money by printing and selling infinite coupons and discounts! So today we will be covering the infinite Pizza exploit in the UK that lets you buy pizza without paying. The bailout discount underflow that was found in America and my personal favourite the Free pizza for anyone who reads a book how easy it was to trick the pizza hut staff for free pizza! Whilst many try to life hack there way to an easier living we here at the spiffing brit instead prefer to just exploit our way to success and infinite money!
    So sit back and watch as the spiffing brit tests to see if Free Food is a perfectly balanced system with no exploits or if the infinite discount coupon codes from Dominos are ever so slightly broken!
    What you have seen here today is part of a fantastic perfectly balanced series on youtube where I go from game to game and break them with wacky exploits to gain things like unlimited gold and infinite money all in a fantastic montage. If you enjoyed this then be sure to check out more. The style is similar to RT game and callmekevin in parts. A large influence on this series has come from Valefisk and The Killian Experience.

      @moodymawy What a silly comment. Bezos wasn't born Bezos rich. Bill Gates wasn't born rich. Etc. etc. And obviously exploits exist that you imply don't. It feels like you didn't have a point so much as an implanted desire to (imperfectly) parrot some complaint you heard before about rich people. (I'm not defending Bezos or Gates, by the way. They're awful, but not for the reasons some say.)

    There used to be a limited time promotion at my local domino's where you would just get a free pizza, once per person.
    Problem is they never figured out how to limit it to one free pizza per person, and they also never removed the code when the promotion ended.
    It took them 5 years of me getting free pizzas to realize something was off.

    Domino's used to offer this 20 minute guarantee thing here in Australia, where you would basically pay an extra dollar and they would supposedly get it to you within 20 minutes. Luckily for me I live 12 minutes away from a dominos and 8 minutes was never enough time for them to make the order and get it out the door in time so I ended up getting a free pizza voucher every time. I've still got a few in my emails, I wonder if they've expired yet 🤔

      In Germany if you pay via Card and just lay it on the Terminal at the KFC in Drive in, just lean a bit outside of the passenger seat, the payment will be successful, but they never charge you for it. They dont even get it lol, did this now 3 times with 3 orders for like 90€ from April 2021, still no money from my Bank account charged (19.7.21)
      Edit: for some mad people out there, i didnt intend to do that, i asked the cashier and they said everything alright it will be charged, still wasnt. Now the unfortunate downside:
    Most Domino's stores are franchises, not the Domino's company itself. This means when you get a free pizza, the store, not Domino's, has to soak the cost of the pizza. The Domino's corporation still makes money off of every free pizza they give away because the store actually making the pizza is required by contract to purchase all of their ingredients from the Domino's corporation.
    TL:DR - Free pizza can put your local/favorite pizza place out of business...meaning no more pizzas, at all.

    • @dww34
      @dww34 2 ปีที่แล้ว +22

      Actually there was a reason they did it that way - PCI/DSS compliance. They use some external processor (not sure which one but think Stripe) on the client side to make the payment then submit the payment ID back to dominos server.
      This is a valid way of doing it because then the CC details never touch Domino's servers. But, what they should at least be doing is verifying the payment ID from the processor server side, using the processor's API

    Spiffing Brit next week: how to build a house with Dominos pizza

  • @SlayerMcG
    @SlayerMcG 3 ปีที่แล้ว +13

    I work at dominos and when someone who doesn't have a rewards account linked to the order, it prints out a code that can be used to redeem your 10 points online but you can only use a code once every 30 days. Now these codes are printed on a sticker by themselves, most of the time they dont make it onto the boxes due to the sheer volume of stickers that go onto boxes during the rush. So thats a free pizza every 6 months, if you use the codes yourself instead of the customer!
    Remember the customer is always right, or at least you make them think they are!

    Actually had a co-worker in Domino's that managed to save the coupons the business hands out.
    Because customers usually ignored the coupons more often than not.

    Man, I remember participating in that Book It program when I was in 5th grade like 30 years ago.. their mini pan pizzas were pretty good back then.
    I used to read a lot of books and so it wasn't that hard to get free pizza.
    One of the many many school related reasons I'm a fat nerd to this day.
    My teachers made us do a book report on the books to make sure we actually read them though.

    Back when i worked at Dominos, me and one of my coworkers found out on the site to buy their pins they give you for excelling at specific tasks - there was a pin for a negative price and we could literally get as many pins as we wanted and as long as we had the right amount of the negative one it genuinely allow us to put in a bulk order for $0.
