2019/10 It took me about 1.5 - 2 hours to replace, watching the video as replacing {at the same time). All pretty straightforward and at the end phone and screen works great, as good as new. Thank you for great tutorial and help.

excellent, Mike. some of the others just DO NOT provide enough detail, go too fast, have unclear camera work, etc. this is Nerd Level: Awesome. THANKS

Super useful, detail oriented, professional and most straight forward video. I have changed screen of my iPhone 6 first in my life all by my self in no time. When I turned it on, 2 white horizontal lines appeared in the middle of the screen, forgot to attache 2 rubber pads 🤪🤪🤪 Had to reopen and attach them, works perfect now. Thank you sir 🙃😍

Thank you so much for posting such a detailed video that helped me to replace my iphone 6 screen. Everything is working fine except I can't hear when someone calls me unless I turn on the speaker in which case the person on the other side cannot hear my voice. If I turn off the speaker, the person on the other side can hear me but I can't hear them. I watched your video again to ensure that I replace the microphone and speaker parts accurately which I did. Any help would be greatly appreciated to fix the issue.

Ive changed the lcd of my phone and I am disappointed with the screen’s quality. Im missing the original lcd of my phone. Everything still works except for proximity sensor which isn’t working after the replacement and the cellular signal (which is my issue before the replacement).

The second time im watching this video and also the second time im replacing the screen on my iphone 6 and forgot about the water seal. im guessing the screens you get dont include those but this time i had plugges the screen to the phone and THEN realized i forgot the seal around the edges so i had to unplug it and put the seal. i would suggest adding that as a note in the video before you connect the screen to the phone. so if one has those seals or glue that goes on the edges between the screen and the phone to put that on before connecting.

Dude, you're amazing- thank you so much! Couldn't have followed the packaged instructions without you. It started up on my first try- what a relief.
The only issue I had was transferring the rubber pads at 18:40. The darn things both left their adhesive behind, even after much heating. Praying that's not going to be too much of an issue...

Thanks for that seemingly inconsequential comment about looking for lint first before replacing the plug. I actually bought and had in possession a new plug. Then I checked for lint just after removing the 1st two screws at the bottom, lo and behold so much junk came out the old plug feels like new again. Great video!

You don't necessarily need to order the 3M 300 LSE tape. In my situation, there was just enough residual glue from the original iPhone prox sensor housing and camera dust cover that it worked without tape. I wasted a 1-day rush order on a 4"x8" sheet of the 3M 300 LSE tape. If you have to get the tape, do as the video says, buy the roll instead.

I'm really disappointed. I ordered what I thought was a screen for am iPhone 6 +. So, first of all, the screen that I got through Amazon only has two wire harnesses and the screen that I took off the phone has three. Is that a problem? Secondly, after I followed the steps, all I'm getting is a screen that turns on with the Apple logo showing. What do I do?

Take a close look at them and you'll see that they can be carefully moved to one side and set into the proper order. When you have them in the proper position you'll be able to see all of the gold parts. If that doesn't make sense let me know and I'll make another video to demonstrate. It's kind of hard to put into words.
