I have been making almond milk lattes at home! I heat up some almond milk and froth it, and pour it over a cup of coffee, with sugar free syrups ( I buy mine from starbucks) and often i put a tablespoon of coconut oil in as well :)
+Stephanie Patz Does it froth better after heating it first? I've tried almond milk with espresso it doesn't foam and froth really well. It's really yummy though and I want to slowly substittue it for my cow milk, esp cause the latter makes me feel sickish sometimes
thank you so much for focusing on moderation! it's so important not to go overboard with limiting your calorie intake or overexercising. you're a good rule model for girls and women who want to be healthy but struggle with distorted eating habits and thoughts!
I would recommend spicy sweet potato 'burgers' it's egg whites, cooked sweet potato, ground coconut, hot chilli powder, and other stuff all mixed together, I like to put a bit of red onion and sweet corn in too then you cook in almond oil in a saucepan I usually have it with veggies ^.^ :)

I've recently lost 15 pounds after trying for a long time to get into better shape. What actually made a big difference for me was forcing myself to eat small meals and snack about every 3 hours, up to 6 times a day. It has made a massive difference in the amount that I eat. I used to be so preoccupied with work or study (without breaks), I would just starve myself only to binge later. Love that you are so honest about what has and has not worked for you. You are so positive!

It helps a lot more than saying to do extreme workouts and stop eating certain foods because that is how people burn out on their weight loss goals quickly. (ha ha okay...not really...thank god!) this video was absolutely fab; I lost 50lbs myself and have kept it off & I'm going to do a whole 'healthy habits' series on my channel to help people, so I totally get what you mean on how hard it is knowing WHERE to start! There is so much to talk about! It is amazing for you to come out and say that you don't weigh yourself, the scale is such an unnecessary evil...excellent advice
I love making smoothies using kale, whatever fruit I have on hand, and a dash of milk. You can add yoghurt, chia seeds or flax seeds if you have them. I know lots of people are obsessed with green juices etc, but I refer smoothies because you keep all the fibre!
I'm soooo happy you said not to cut out carbs because they are important! I'm a dietician and it really annoys me when beauty gurus tell everyone not to eat carbs because "they are so bad for you"...This is a really inspiring video! And you're so pretty :)

Your elephant is beautiful!! I've been doing fairly well lately, and I think one change that has made a big difference is not weighing myself. I can't really, because I lent my scale to a friend, but it's been good. It can get frustrating, as there are times when I'm not seeing physical change and I want validation, but overall feeling/seeing the change is much more impactful :) Love this vid!

Loved this video Sammi! I love making healthy food for myself too, here are a couple of my favourite recipes! Salad leaves, chopped fresh herbs like mint and basil, with fresh mango, smoked salmon, lime juice and black pepper. I sometimes put seeds through it too for crunch. For an evening meal, I sometimes do halved tomatoes baked in a tray with fresh thyme & garlic. I serve it will boiled & peeled eggs and some sourdough bread to mop up the tomatoes juice.

I loovee eating berry salads, I usually use spinach, and add strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, almonds, and grilled chicken seasoned with sea salt and a little garlic powder, and use raspberry walnut vinaigrette. It is sooo good!

this is the first "healthy" video from a youtube beauty guru i've seen that actually IS healthy and gives great tips! most of the american beauty gurus just show some pre-made stuff, "whole wheat" crackers and 0% fat anything. thank YOU for showing actual home cooked meals and fresh ingredients! THAT'S what's healthy and i think not enough people talk about that :) no wonder you look like you're glowing from the inside ;)
I've been really eating healthy and working out loads for the past 6 weeks and I've been having a few off days recently but this has put me back on track! Also if people are lacking in motivation a recommend looking at the 'fitspo' tag on Tumblr help me a lot and I'm the same with forgetting to drink water and nice downloaded an app called idrated which reminds you to every hour it so! Hope this helps a few people xx

My go-to breakfast is oatmeal mixed with a coconut oil (healthy fats), cocoa powder (antioxidants), cinnamon (regulates blood sugar), and some chopped banana/ raspberries. It's perfect for those chilly mornings :)
i love how you tell me realitic things, and not like just yeah i exercise 8 times a week and just eat things that doesnt have any föavour whatsoever. Becouse that just makes u feel bad, but this is motivating

ooh I have something similar! Veggie masala burger from trader joes, cooked w/ sunflower oil mixed w/ salad or veggies :)

green juice is really good!!! it might look gross but it's actually really yummy and you can control whats in it
