In an interview with Tsukki's voice actor (Uchiyama Kouki) every time there was a scene where all the Karasuno players were cheering, the voice director told Uchiyama to sit it out. Uchiyama didn't get to cheer with the other actors for 2 whole seasons. So, Tsukki's cheer after blocking Ushiwaka was built on 2 seasons of the voice actor being told to hold back, then letting 2 seasons worth of emotions out all at once.
THE MOMENT WE ALL WAITED FOR! The tsukki scream: I get goosebumps everytime! The power of haikyuu. Rise having the need to instantly running it back is so real😂
Because they took their time and Tsuki totally earned that moment. From the first season, where he almost seemed to be the villain character at times, through the second season, where he was too cool for school and mostly just a salty boi, Tsuki is now really all in with the team, a true ride or die.

There's something incredibly beautiful to me about this. I resonate a lot in some ways with Tsukki. The way he views volleyball is, basically, a defensive mechanism. If he doesn't care, if he doesn't get involved enough, it can't him. I feel like that in the academic and working parts of life in a way (though mine is more avoiding than what he does), so sewing him being able to break through that barrier he has gotten used to is precious to me. I've seen this scene probably more than 50 times and it has always made me cry out of sheer emotion for him

Tsukishima is unlocked! the way my heart stumbles every time i see him yell in celebration is just unbelievable Tsukishima is, in fact, the first player who kill blocked Ushijima in entire prefecture the skill and concentration it takes to make it happen with a canon player like Ushijima is crazy That yell, man... something twinges in my soul every time i see it his character developments was so subtle and look how it paid off! my all time favorite moments in anime of all times this is THE Haikyuu!!
Literally when Tsukki got excited after blocking Ushiwaka’s attack and scoring for Karasuno I legit raised my left arm in the air and put my hand into a fist and and just yelled “Lets go Tsukki!!” I was that damn excited. But seriously his character development was so good and we got to see our boy be the MVP of the match
Also highlight the blocking and reading technique he had, he jumped straight leaving him an option in the middle, and when he finishes he makes the movement diagonally, surpassing him in everything in that aerial battle with Ushiwaka, Tsukki showed that he is extremely capable, that he loves the volleybal
Yamaguchi represents the average human player like us. If he suddenly picked up a different position and somehow became a better volleyball player than that would be unrealistic and take away the human aspect and would just be an anime character.
Just here to say that in volleyball this kind of score is fairly common between evenly matched teams, because you need to convert the advantage. That's why sets end up to 28, 30 or even further more often then not in the final stages of tournaments. Of course the author exploited this for hype reasons

This why Tsukki's character development is my favorite on this show, it's just TOP NOTCH FIIREEEE this episode is my favorite out of season 4.
